Four years ago, everything changed with one offer.
That job was supposed to be my last score. Unfortunately, I trusted the wrong person and ended the night meeting the love of my life.
Now things are about to change again. When I learn the truth about the man I thought I loved, I have a choice. I can either trust him and move on, or let his lies destroy us. We need each other to uncover the secrets of the Jewel Agency, but when it’s all said and done, will I be brokenhearted or will he prove to be the man I always believed he was?
It all comes down to this, and only the truth will give us the freedom we deserve.
Final Score is an action-adventure romance filled with forced proximity, forbidden lovers, uncovered secrets, law enforcement, cloak and dagger, and more. As always, you can expect no cheating, open-door loving, and a happy ending for our lovely couple.
I've never met a romance, paranormal story, or oatmeal cookie I didn't like. I love building worlds that make you want to visit or move right in and crafting characters that feel like your next best friend. I travel between contemporary romance and paranormal mostly because each of them brings me joy and lets me explore different sides of each character. Okay I can officially say that this book here, this “Final Score” is my favorite one in the Jewel Agency series, even though Tinsley from Book 1 (Getaway Love) is still my favorite Jewel. This book took me on such a roller coaster ride of emotions. I laughed, I cried, I cursed at a couple of the characters, and then I cried some more. Jade was so much more than I expected and getting to finally see all of the jewels together was just chef’s kiss. These ladies, and the men they lured into falling for them, are simply unforgettable and I was not “Ready For It.” To say I loved these characters so much would be an understatement, and finding out who Phantom really was, omg, I did not see that “End Game” coming at all. I promise you that you will not be disappointed with this series but also “Don’t Blame Me” if it keeps you up all night reading it!
Final Score did something to me, I won't lie. somewhere between Kendric asking me if I was ready for him (okay he didn't ask me, he asked Jamila, but let me live) and Ruby setting stuff ablaze, I realized it's given me everything I wanted. Having the full cast from the previous books together is legit magic, especially Tinsley and Jade. Their dynamic is soo 'catty sisterly, to me that when they were actually getting along I felt it in my core when everyone thought it must be a bad omen lmao. You could tell that as much as they fought and went back and forth they still rode for each other and I loved that. This entire series has been a wild ride but I enjoyed every minute of it. Highly Reccomend to anyone who loves romance and high action suspense.
