She was too young for him and didn’t know anything about motorcycle clubs. But that wasn’t going to stop Whiskey from claiming Ellery.

Im dnf it.. I used to enjoy reading this author, but I just get ick now. The way she writes the fmc, like they don't know they could get prego by having sex without a condom. And act all suprise when they get knocked up or told hey you could be carrying my kid.
It's old, and the author always goes for that. I don't even feel like writing more for this review.
My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Zane aka Whiskey becomes guardian for his new born baby niece when his estranged sister passes away. Between his tattoo business and his MC stuff he knows he’s going to need a nanny for baby Corinne. I loved that he instantly fell in love with her and knew he was going to be her dad. One of the club old ladies suggests her new friend Ellery who is looking for a job. Ellery loves kids, when the daycare center she worked at closes she worries she won’t find a job working with children. She regularly goes to the local library to read to the children, Whiskey comes to the reading group with Corinne to see if she will be a fit for baby Corinne. Its love/lust at first sight for him, he offers the job to her and she accepts. He’s pretty up front in his interest in her but Ellery doesn’t understand what a hot older biker would see in a curvy young girl like her. I liked that there was no beating around the bush, after their first kiss she was all in. Whiskey takes her house hunting with him, after all she’s going to be living with him. They decide on a house one of his club brother has built, it’s the perfect family home for them. They fall into an easy relationship and soon are enjoying sexy times, she’s a virgin no mention of his past. Corinne’s drug addict sperm donor, Kenny shows up and ask for money to give up his parental rights to Corinne. Whiskey is wealthy but does not want to buy his daughter from Kenny. In the end one of his club brothers suggests letting him sign away his rights and they will make sure Kenny can’t legally ever come back for Corinne or for more money. But before he can contact Kenny, he kidnaps Corinne. Ellery is very distraught, she blames herself. The prospect that was providing security missed the traffic light so Ellery pulled over to wait for him, that’s when Corinne was taken. Whiskey and the guys all look for Corinne, they find Kenny at a run down motel. They are able to get her back and take Kenny to their “guesthouse” where he makes sure Kenny is not a problem for them anymore. I loves yous, more sexy times, and a engagement ring. Epilogues with Ellery pregnant and years later with 3 kids and another on the way.

Tropes: Insanely hot masculine covered in tattoo's hero Insanely pretty innocent and children loving heroine HEA and kids, lots of them Possessive and protective Insta love/attraction Age gap (like 20 or 21, and late 30's?)
Whiskey (Zane) is now the father of baby Corinne who is his sister Laura's baby who was an addict and had died so now Corinne was in his custody so he needed a nanny fast. So Elise who is Blade's old lady offered Ellery who works with kids at the library during storytime and is loved by all. He instantly falls for her at the mere sight of her. She is taken to the clubhouse and is offered the job and she accepts. They get smutty real quick. He buys them a new house due to his old apartment being a death trap and after some fail houses, Ice offers them his place and it is amazing. They move in and so life moves on as normal with the occasional smut and the possessiveness and also more smut. So on, she meets his parents and they fall in love with her and Corinne then the deadbeat father of Corinne shows up and he wants custody but all the really wants is money. Whiskey kicks him out and then some time after that when she is out and he's at work, he gets notified that Corinne was taken from the car by her deadbeat dad and so Whiskey hunts them down and takes him to the back house and comes back to his woman, gives her Corinne and leaves to teach that man a harsh lesson to hell. He comes back and is like you're my woman, my old lady and my soon to be wife and is wifyed up within a week. They have 3 kids and one on the way and this man is still as possessive as he was before if not more.
Solid 5/5
Quotes:
“I love her so much,” I whispered, starting to sob in earnest. He tightened his hold on me. “I know you do, baby.” I sniffled against his chest and mumbled, “As much as I love you.” His fingers flexed against my back before he leaned back to stare down at me. “Fuck, baby. I love you so damn much, too.”
“Didn’t Zane tell you that we want a big backyard?” she huffed at the real estate agent. Damn, she was adorable. “Yes, but this place has almost everything else you requested,” he responded indignantly. Ellery’s eyes narrowed, and I grinned as I stood back and watched her spit fire at the asshole. “Almost isn’t everything, Mr. Chapman. Corinne deserves the perfect home.” Chapman raised his chin in the air and looked down his nose at her. “You are not the buyer,” he sneered before swinging his gaze to me. His eyes widened, and all the blood drained from his face when he realized I was glaring at him. Ellery and Corinne brought out a lighter side of me, but normally, I was a grumpy son of a bitch with a dangerous air that intimidated people. “Do not disrespect my woman again,” I told him in a steely tone. “If she says jump, you ask how fucking high, and if you can’t go that high, I’ll throw your sorry ass up.” “Y-yes, um, yes sir,” he stammered.”
As hilarious as Molly and Dahlia were, my focus immediately shifted to the man standing beside the reception desk. His lips curved into a huge smile when he spotted me. “Hey, baby. I didn’t know you were gonna stop by today.” “I know. I wanted to surprise you.” I heard a soft “aw” behind me, but I was too busy staring at Zane as he strode toward me to see which sister had said it. “My favorite kind of surprise,” he murmured, bending his head to give me a kiss when he got near.
I’ve been loving the series so far, but this one didn’t make me love the book. It’s a good read. And it is SAFE. No cheating, no manwhore, insta-love. I liked that Whiskey had the same overprotectiveness, alpha, and dominance as his brothers. That he loved his niece from the start. How he fell in love with h instantly, just like the brothers. The book has some key elements that tie it to the other books. I also love that other book’s characters have an important role in the book too; like Molly, Dahlia, Fox, Maverick, Storm. I’m looking forward to Ice’s story.
I’m giving this book 3 stars because even though I find it okay, there were to many things that didn’t sit right with me. And here comes the SPOILERS.
Where are her parents? Did Whiskey eventually meet them? Did they accept him? They were basically ignored.
The mini drama with a client flirting with the h could’ve been avoided if he had put a vest on her. The excuse that Sheila was on vacation was a poor excuse because other brothers simply gave their MC vest to there girls to avoid others approaching them meanwhile their property vest was being made. (It also happened in the other MC series, Molly’s parent’s SSMC) Whiskey didn’t do this, he didn’t give her his vest and it was never mentioned that he was thinking about giving it either. He didn’t need it unless it was club business (like other brothers did in other books). So, that incident could’ve been prevented. Yes, it was nice that Whiskey was all possessive with her at the moment by threatening the client; but it was sad that she saw Molly and Dahlia’s vests and that she didn’t have one making her feel not part of them. It was stupid of Whiskey to tell the client to assume any woman in IR territory was some MC brother’s woman when he should know that without any vest the woman is fair game for anyone as it’s been told in other books.
The other thing that really bothered me was the kidnapping. I mean HOW it happened. If she was waiting for the prospect to catch up, and was on the side of the road waiting for him, I don’t think she turned the car off and the book doesn’t say that she turned the car off. She wasn’t at her destination yet, so she still had to drive a little bit. It says that she parked there waiting for the prospect to arrive. I haven’t heard of a car that when you put it in parking it automatically unlocks the doors. So, this scene was a little unbelievable and I wasn’t happy about it.
I’m hoping the series gets better. And that it is long like SSMC. Build a whole big family.
“Do not disrespect my woman again… If she says jump, you ask how fucking high, and if you can’t go that high, I’ll throw your sorry ass up.” You know, I didn’t know I needed a quote until I read it and this was the quote. I mean I have heard the first half of it but to finish with “I’ll throw your sorry ass up” I was straight up smirking. Uhh hello, what a fun way to be protective and put someone in their place. Alright Whiskey, I’m here for it!!
Author Fiona Davenport is becoming one of my favorite authors with novella sized books. I cannot say it enough how I feel like we actually have the entire plot and a substantial sized plot at the same time. We don’t miss any details at all while reading. Well I mean I could bug for more because I’m addicted but in reality, I am just going to go to the next book in this series and enjoy the ride. I had the pleasure to ARC Phoenix in this series but I am so excited to read another book from this world. I’m not sure which man I loved more but either way they are booth swoon worthy men!!!
If you are looking for an MC series that also has a lot of books already written, check this one out! The Iron Rogues are full of protective and possessive men! Exactly what we want!

Whiskey needs a nanny like yesterday. Child services just dropped his sister's baby in his arms. Ellery needs a job. It's a perfect match. Two things making it bot absolutely perfect. She's not wearing his patch yet, and the baby's father is sniffing around. Before Whiskey can get all the legal things in order, the baby is taken. Can he find his niece before anything happens?
Whiskey is book 5 in the Iron Rogues series and features Zane/Whiskey and Ellery. Whiskey finds himself the guardian of a 3 week old little girl Corinne and is in desperate need of a nanny. The club ole ladies have the perfect person, Ellery. One look at her and he realized he was as sunk as the rest of his club that had ole ladies.
Watching them navigate their relationship and a new baby was exciting. Of course nothing can ever be super easy when these ladies are writing and someone comes out of the woodwork and tries to ruin the family they are creating. Well you already know that Whiskey and the rest of the Iron Rogues weren't gonna let that fly!
Holy yum. Whiskey was hot, hot, hot. These men. Idk how Elle and Rochelle do it, but each man gets hotter. Whiskey is thrusted into being a dad. He takes to it naturally. I absolutely loved him. He was a rough biker, but so freaking sweet to his baby girl and Ellery. The attraction between him and Ellery was so freaking combustible. Their chemistry was too. I love these MC men. They are super possessive of their ladies and that is my favorite part of their personalities. Each FMC is super sweet and loving too. Ellery fit in perfectly with his regular family and his MC one. Now I will excitedly be waiting for Ice's book.

I really enjoyed Whiskey and Ellery's story. If you love reading about the bad boy tattoo artist/single dad and the nanny then grab this book! When he has to choose between raising his niece or letting her go into foster care, Whiskey chooses raising the sweet baby girl... But he realizes he can't do it alone and luckily one of his MC brothers wife knows someone perfect for the job..Whiskey doesn't take long to realize that Ellery isn't just perfect for his niece but for him too..can he convince her to give him a shot? What happens when something bad occurs? Will Whiskey and Ellery come out the other side together or will it be too much and one of them walk away? 5⭐ 3 🌶
Loved every minute of Whiskey and Ellery’s love story. Whiskey needed a babysitter for his newly discovered baby girl. Ellery lost her daycare job and is now reading to children at the library. Elise, who is Whiskey’s club brother Old Lady recommended Ellery to become the new nanny. Upon going to the library to check out Ellery, Whiskey realized that he has found his future wife. No different his club brothers he claimed his woman. When his daughter is kidnapped, Whiskey did what needed to be done to rescue his daughter and protect his family.
I can’t wait for Ice’ HEA. Another job well done ladies, keep them coming
As is the case with all the stories in this MC and author duo's works, I eagerly jumped into the 5th book in this series.
It is an entertaining, quick read, with another insta-love, age gap connection. This time, OTT protective Whiskey/Zane finds himself in need of a nanny - quickly. Who better than a sweet woman, who volunteers at the library? Before she knows it, Ellery is quickly wrapped up with baby Corrine and claimed by Zane.
Of course there's all of the things we love about this world too - the brothers, the drama, the steamy scenes... so good.
I recommend reading in order for the best experience. Can't wait to see what happened to Ice!!
I really loved this story. There’s something endearing about a big ,tatted , rough biker melting in the presence of a tiny baby. I can’t wait for Ice’s story. But I can’t help noticing that there aren’t any other stories of the Iron Rogues listed. I’m hoping that is not the case. Like the multiple stories of the Silver Saints MC…, there is so much potential with all the other characters referred to in the stores of the airing Rogues so far. Keep them coming.
Whiskey doesn't expect that he will become a father all of a sudden. Under some Circumstances he takes that role seriously and he fell in love with his niece. He just didn't also expect he will meet his HEA after meeting his nanny. Ellery just love being with children. One look for each other they knew that the chemistry is out of this world. Seeing there HEA is what I love about this series. I just love this kind of books. I'm excited for Ice's book.

Ellery and Zane/Whiskey’s story is a fast paced “touch her and you die” story with a baby niece/girl as part of the package. It goes from “come be my baby’s nanny “ to “you are mine, you’ll wear my property of patches, my ring and swell with my baby in your belly , to give Corinne a sibling !!’ Loved the characters and the storyline . The only flaw if you will is the deceased sister’s name went from Lauren to Laura, which should have been caught, but since it didn’t detract from the overall plot, I still give this story 5✨’s
I’m enjoying the Iron Rogues series and its special brand of Instalove. The hero and heroine of this book are Whiskey and Ellery. It’s a classic trope, the nanny/caregiver and it’s really well done here because they are both crazy about the baby and because they are so enthusiastic about the Instalove. The pure enthusiasm sets this book apart from the basic nanny trope. Whiskey is a tattoo artist, which magnifies his hotness level. Book is SAFE. Heat is EXPLICIT with a VIRGIN HEROINE and a BREEDING KINK. TRIGGERS include child endangerment and violence, plus language.
I absolutely love the Iron Rogues series, and Whiskey was one that I was so excited about! And it did not disappoint!
Zane and Ellery are a great couple and it is so fun to read about them navigating parenthood and their relationship at the same time! Made me laugh but also brought tears to my eyes…but so good!
Corrine is now the first Iron Rogue Princess (not unlike Molly in the Silver Saints) and cannot wait to see her grow up in future books!!
Oh and who is the girl who called about Ice??? Has the hockey player found his woman?? Cannot wait!!!
This was a short and steamy insta-love romance that will leave you needing water, smiling, and wishing you were Ellery! Whiskey and Ellery were fantastic together. I loved the Ellery did not fight her feelings for Whiskey too much and that Whiskey was ready to stand up for his daughter and get the woman of his dream. I can’t wait for Ice’s book next.
I received an e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Quickie Review: I am head over heels for this series. I have (im)patiently been waiting for Whiskey after devouring the previous 4. But his story was definitely worth the wait. I loved that he instantly fell in love with his niece and took up the role as dad just as quickly. And then to fall just as hard for his woman. This was an instalove implosion every way you look at it. Whiskey is a fabulous, quick read with lots of sweet, swoony romance. 5 Stars.
The last thing Whiskey expected was to be an instant father to a niece he didn't even know he had. We his work as a tattoo artist and Ben member of the Iron Rogues MC his life was pretty fulls. He immediately knew he would need a babysitter for his 3 weeks old niece. When he meets Ellery, he knows he finds his future wife and waste no time moving her in and becomes a family. Ok read
OK so this just became my favorite book out of the series
Start it again Whiskey let me tell you something daddy zane is amazing so spicy so sweet and he is so possessive and let me tell you something the way that he says my girl And the way he claims his sister's daughter as his own and just the whole nanny vibe is perfection So worth the read and it's super short it was like less than less than 100 pages so It's really good
This is book 5 in the Iron Rogues MC series. This series is one of my favorite MC lite series. I love all the books in the series and Whiskey is no exception. Oh my what can I say about Whiskey. He's sexy, sweet, a great dad to his niece, and one dirty talker. Ellery is so sweet and innocent perfect for Whiskey. Totally enjoying this series. Can't wait for the next book.
