Will Nancy and Millie crack the case before another victim falls prey to the unknown assailant?
A vengeful daughter who carries out the way to get revenge. She actually kills the wrong person. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.
Nancy and Millie made quite the sleuthing team and managed to crack the case wide open while Nancy was supposed to be enjoying a relaxing vacation. I'm very content being an armchair cruiser and just reading about vacation and mystery on a ship, one of my favorite types of cozy mysteries. I can't wait to see what these two sleuthing buddies get into next while Thomas relaxes. The best of both worlds for Nancy and her hubby!
A fast read before bed nothing earth shattering just a shortcozy read as you get read for bed. It’s good to have a quick book to read in about 30-45 min as you u wing that doesn’t tax the brain.
Nancy and Thomas are planning on enjoying their retirement with a stressless cruise.
Taking a cruise was a great way to start off the retirement of Nancy and Thomas and celebrate a long and happy marriage. They barely get aboard and settled in before things start going in a different direction than they had planned on. Nancy and Millie reconnected as friends who had worked together before and make a very good team in solving a death and many more mysterious puzzles to figure out. I certainly enjoyed and was entertained by this new series. I hope I get to read the next book in the near future.
Nancy and Thomas embark on a cruise to kick off their retirement. As they board Nancy spots a women she knew from her previous job. Milly has gone to work on the cruise ship. Things start off well till a crew member is killed in what appears to be an accident the next morning. Nancy and Milly jump in to try and solve the mystery. A fun read.
Nancy and Thomas are recently retired. They embark on a cruise to celebrate and relax. Nancy is surprised when she runs into an acquaintance on board. Millie is showing Nancy all the activities available when a terrible accident occurs. Nancy and Millie are out to discover the reason behind the tragedy. A quick fun read.
Nancy and Thomas are excited as they begin their post-retirement cruise on the Liberty Voyager. Things quickly take a tragic turn when a crew member is found dead on the zipline. Nancy jumps right into the investigation, while Thomas enjoys the cruise.
Along with another crew member, Millie, Nancy conducts her own investigation and discovers the list of potential suspects is quite long. She is determined to find the culprit before the cruise ends.
I so love cruise cozy mysteries. This is a great start to the series. Following along in the investigation with Nancy and Millie is so much fun. I couldn’t figure out “whodunit”, but the journey to get there is so enjoyable. This is a short story and I look forward to getting to know these characters better in future books. It’s a fast read filled with mystery and humor.
I loved the story and characters. The only reason I am scoring it as a three is there were so many pages that repeated the exact same paragraphs from above. The first time I thought I had dozed off but after double checking it was a repeat. Too bad the author and publisher didn't catch these easy errors.
Poor proofing and editing. Lame premise. Repeated sentences. Excuses made for bad behavior. I finally just quit reading because it was so frustrating that I didn't even care who did it! I can't understand how it received the ratings it has.
The story was well written but the content was lacking (for me). It was written with a cruise theme in mind but so far from reality that I couldn’t relate. It was okay and an easy read.
