Fireproof is a Second Chance Story by Esther Jade.
While planning the town's festival Cleo was supposed to find her best friend a man, but when she does find a man for her best friend she ends up torn as from the first moment they meet Cleo feels a deep connection with him.
Ever since his divorce, Greg had given up on love, but when he met Cleo something stirred within him. As they started to spend more time together, they started to get closer and closer, and Cleo's plans to match Greg with her best friend was a total failure.
This book starts off with a daring rescue from a burning museum that progresses into a mistaken identity. I do think that Cleo made the mistake of not telling Greg who she really was from the very beginning. When he does hear the truth, all it does is remind him of his ex-wife who left him, running off to pursue a modelling career. She eventually divorced him not only abandoning Greg but also their young son. Greg gets full custody of his son in the divorce.
The budding romance between Greg and Cleo hits a road block when Greg discovers Cleo's deception just before she had the opportunity to confess, this could have caused problems between them.
Thankfully, Cleo was able to sit down with Greg and she told him everything. Cleo was then able to convince Greg to give their relationship a second chance and to give them a chance at real happiness. Especially as Cleo was ready to make some pretty drastic changes in her life.
I do think that the ending of this book left a little bit to the imagination. You don't really know for sure if Cleo and Greg get together or not. The book ends in a hug that leaves you feeling like Cleo and Greg are more than friends than lovers. So, there's really a lot left to your imagination.
This was a beautiful insta-love romance, it had a little bit of drama, this sweet little boy, and secondary characters who were interesting and added to the story in just the right way.
Fireproof is a story that I really enjoyed reading and I have to say that it really is a worthwhile read.

Grabbing the Presented Opportunity -
Cleo was meant to find her best friend a man whilst she is planning the town’s festival, but she felt a connection with the man she chose from the moment they met. Greg had given up on love since his divorce, but something stirred within him after meeting Cleo. Spending time together brought them closer, but Cleo’s plans to match her friend with Greg failed.
Unfortunately, their budding romance hit a snag when Greg discovered Cleo ‘s deception just before she could confess, which caused friction between them. Luckily, Cleo was able to convince Greg to give them a chance at happiness, especially as she was prepared to make a drastic change in her life. This was a wonderful instalove romance story, with a bit of drama, a sweet little boy and interesting characters, that I really enjoyed reading. It was a worthwhile read.

Okay, this book isn't too bad it does have good characters that you can relate to. It starts out with a rescue from a burning museum and then progresses into a mistaken identity. Cleo makes the mistake of not telling Greg that she is not who he thinks she is, and when he hears it he is reminded of his ex-wife Who left him for a modeling career and eventually divorces him and leaves him with full custody of his son. The ending leaves alot to the imagination, you really don't know if they get together or not it just ends in a hug that seems more like friends than lovers.

This was a quick read but the entire story needs some work. It was really hard to get interested in it.
