This is the 10th story Darkwater Military Romance Thrillers Series where Jack the new hot shot has joined the Darkwater Team finds himself on the hunt for their most wanted villain, Diego. Jill is on her way to stop her best friends wedding to a Mafia man that’s hooked her on drugs. Jack and Jill find themselves at an out of the way gas station - Jack had his motorcycle stolen by Diego and Jill is car jacked by Jack and she believes is not a good guy with a gun to her head. With their paths crossing they both have a mission that leads them to the same place and all those out to created harm and destruction take steps to get the upper hand. Jack finds himself doing it his way without any support and Jill becomes more than a way into the weekends events. Jill tries to get her best friend away from her fiancé before the wedding and life takes a crazy turn. We find out how fate keeps these two together and the action is on the tamer side giving us the emotional side of their crazy insta-love. This is the 10th book in the Darkwater Military Romance Thrillers series featuring the steamy fast-paced, action-packed, military,page-turning, suspenseful,thrill-ride that is Jack and Jill's story. Jack is the newest member of the Darkwater Team and he's hot on the hunt for Diego Vargas a fugitive on the run from Darkwater. Jill is on the way to try and stop her best-friend's wedding to the man that got her addicted to drugs as well as being in the mafia. When Jill stops at a gas station she has no idea how much her life is about to change when Jack carjacks her by putting a gun to her head. Little do they know that they're both headed to the same place but for different reasons. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy, fast-paced, action-packed, military, page-turning, suspenseful, thrill-ride to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Do you believe in Fate, destiny or karma? It sure seems to play a role in the lives of the those who make up the Darkwater team. This is Jack and Jill’s story. Who would have thought a car-jacking would lead to a love for a lifetime? It is fast-paced, action-packed and suspenseful. This heart-pounding, intense story includes lots of steam, an instant connection and some volatile moments. Lots of familiar characters from the previous books in this series make their appearance and once again the Darkwater team’s skills are put to good use. Seems they aren’t just teammates, they are friends who feel like family. They have each other’s backs on and off the job.

This book in thrilling, entertaining and well worth reading, as are all the previous books in this series. If you like intense, fast-paced and action-packed stories along with romance, then I highly recommend this book and this whole series.

Thrills, chills, romance and intrigue
Ms. Winters has done it again; she has given us another thrilling ride with Darkwater. This one was so full of destiny and fate. Convoluted as all get out too! Just when you think you have a handle on what will happen, Boom! Ms. Winters goes off in another tangent. As a reader truly kept me on my toes. She is very nimble in her writing. Only a few spots where the fate and destiny trope she uses got a little too much. When Darkwater is on its hind legs so to speak, is it destiny or something else that takes over. There were so many times that I felt the author was giving us foreshadowing of what was to come. Some were spot on while others thankfully, not so much. If you like a thrilling intricate plot and especially if you have read any of this series already, you will want to read this one. Now I have to wait a long time before the next book. I am so impatient!

Jack and Jill. No not the children's rhyme, but a grown up fairy tale. Hes part of Darkwater's Security Detail. They are hunting a man trying to take out the Senator. Its become personal and a twisted affair. He stopped for gas and restroom and the man he was hunting now was riding his bike down the road with a full tank of gas. And then as luck would have it a car exits to the gas station. Jill saw the hulking man blocking her way with a gun and a ma on the ground bleeding and then he was shouting get of the car now maam. Bam she tried to ram him and he disappeared as she drove. Then a fist broke through her moonroof and a pointe gun at her head telling her to pull over. OMG what a ride LOL. So begins the chase and the bickering banter of Jack and Jill. What a humorous and clandestine ride. Loved it and this series.

Jacking Jill is the 10th book in the series and while the insta-love romance plot for Jack and Jill stands alone and has a HEA, I would not recommend reading this if you haven't at least read the previous two books, as there are lots of characters and events from those books referenced withouth much of a recap. Unlike the other books, this one seemed to focus more on the philosophy behind Darkwater and its missions than on the actual mission and is a lot less steamy. Having said that, it's still an entertaining read with its share of fast-paced action, introducing the main characters of the next book while leaving quite a few loose ends that will hopefully all get tied up in their book.

Jack is hot on the trail of Darkwater fugitive Diego Vargas. When a pit stop leads to a civilian casualty he is forced to find alternative means of transportation. Jillis on her way to stop her best friend's wedding when her car is high jacked by Jack. Little do they know their meeting is part of destiny's design.

This was a great addition to the series. I loved the story as it added another layer of mystery. The characters are relatable and well.

I love this Darkwater series. These insta-loves are the furthest away from a meet-cute as you can get. Strong, intense feelings + quirks of fate = snap, crackle, and pop of true love! If you enjoy the idea of the destiny of two people aligning so quickly under unusual circumstances with a splash of alpha protector, this book is for you.

Another wonderful story from the Darkwater series. This time we get the story of Jill and Jack. Jack is chasing a criminal and along the way he carjacks Jill's car. Jill doesn't know what to think of him when he does that. You will keep their story in your book from the start. All I can say is go read this book and the other parts because it is a great series to read.

Jack and Jill don't go up the hill...but they do fall for each other

Jacking Jill is the tenth book in the Darkwater Military Romance Thrillers series. This is another hold on tight and take a wild ride story by the author. The story is about Jill and Jack and these two have an interesting way of meeting which just amps the thrill-ride and suspense of the story. But we cannot forget the romance part either and that is hot and steamy.

Jacking Jill is book ten in the Team Darkwater series. Jack and Jill's story is filled with danger, mystery, suspense, secrets, well developed characters, steam, and unexpected twists that make this a page turner. I am loving this series and Jacking Jill is another great addition to the series. I look forward to reading the next book by Annabelle Winters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

It's a Darkwater kind of love. The humor of Jack's personality comes through in this relationship as well as a depth that was hidden before. Jill displays an unflinching loyalty to those she loves. There is a beautiful message of the burden a warrior carries being balanced by the fierceness of their love.

From a rocket bike to jacking Jill it is crazy at only Winters can make destiny and fate yang and yang itself to exhaustion. Crazy need to be in the moment. Absolutely great add to the Darkwater family!!! loved every minute of it!.

Not the twist you expect

Although it began slow, I was hooked. Then I couldn't put it down with all of the crooks in the road. Jill is surprising as she unwittingly gets drawn in. NEXT ... Darn I have to get dressed and go to work. Waiting for the added Benson plot. I'm hooked on the alphabet soup.

A definite must read series

Another intense story with the many unexpected twists and turns that go hand in hand with the Darkwater group. It's a definite must read series.

A decent story, though, there were several places where it was long and drawn out. The virtual audio was terrible and did not benefit the book. Would recommend that you read the book in series sequence.
