In Part Two of "Obsessed with a Plus Size Barbie" by Jatoria C., you are in for an explosive read. If you're a fan of BBW romance, second-chance love, and African American Alpha men with a dark side, then this love story is for you.
This gave off book 2 vibes... and around the middle it was just filling... the pace was good but I wish we would have ended in book 2nd continue into a book 3. The name/character mix up was a bit much as well.
This book was so so good! Man this brothers/cousins trio were on their business and stood 10 tens behind the ones they love! Stacy really wasn't ish! Yes, I know a pawn in Lucien's game, but the girl could have had some morals man! For as bad and dangerous Lucien seem to have be, he let Luca, Leo and Amant wear his old arse down and send him to his maker! I was so glad that Storm was reunited with Baby Rain who was the sunlight none of them knew they needed especially Luca's always serious tail! It's crazy how the women in their lives complimented each of them perfectly! Daddy Frank was not about to play with Leo loool! Step up or get dealt with! I knew it was only a matter of time before grand daddy showed up and I really wish he hadn't because look like Herman gone have a feast on him and he don't even know it! He claimed to have done research on Amant but missed a BIG mark when he thought he was gone show up and start dishing out orders! I can't wait to see it all play out and I'm definitely looking forward the others getting married and having babies. Hell, it wouldn't shock me if Barbie and Storm aren't already preggo! Great read!
(Slight spoilers) This book picks up right where book one left off, with family secrets coming to light and Willow being kidnapped. The pacing continues to be lightning fast as far as the couples go, following the lead of Amant, Barbie, Leo, and Willow. Luca and Storms relationship goes from zero to sixty in a millisecond. The guys continue to be as unhinged as ever. I do love the fact that they are willing to do whatever about their women. Everything in this book is just so hard to fathom. You literally have to suspend all disbelief. The cliffhanger ending with the grandfather was annoying because I felt like you saw it coming with Lucien being taken down so early in the book.
Man this book was so fkin gooood!!! I really gotta check out her catalog. I just love me some Leo. My boo just ain't got no sense and that's what I love about him. Mr. Frank is a trip😂😂😂. He made my day. I love the bond that he has with his daughter Willow, reminds me of my own daddy. I should have known I was gonna fall for Luca too. I actually thinks he's a little bit crazier than his twin Leo. I'm glad he found Baby Rain. I love how everyone took to Baby Rain. Storm found the perfect man for her in Luca. Ion know who grandpa thinks he talking to but he gotta know Amant ain't the one or two but we gonna let him find out the hard way.💙💙
I loved Amant, Luca, Leo and their women. I knew things were going to good for something not to come up after unaliving Amant's crazy obsessed father. One thing they didn't play about was their women and family. Amant's grandfather really think he has the upper hand he just don't know his grandson and his cousins. Can't wait for part 3.
Book 2 did not disappoint my expectations. This book focuses more on the relationships building between the 3 couples and bringing everything together. But even with that I knew it was some BS brewery and Jatoria did not disappoint oh she did not disappoint me at all. On to book 3 lol.
The way I’ve been on the look out for this book since finishing part 1 should be a crime! Definitely a great addition to the story, now I have to wait for the next book to drop!
I just knew midway through the book it ended too easy for me. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and Jatoria did not disappoint. I loved seeing the layers being pulled back and everyone speaking g their truth. I can't wait part 3. Job well done, Jatoria.
Enjoyed every bit of this part of this series. I knew it wasn't the end because the way Lucien was part of something bigger than him. I just wonder if its going to be more exciting than before to read.
Now the grandfather is about to be fed to Hermon. I don't understand why they keep playing with these crazy cousins. That grandfather should have just raised that baby and left well enough alone.
The drama continues and time I thought it was all over, here comes more. Secrets came to light and they were very surprising. Which also brought about more drama. I can't wait for the next book.
As I read I kept saying oh this is so good and funny. I loved an unhinged man that does not play about his woman!!! It was all falling into place. Such a good ending. Then boom another cliffhanger ending. Ma’am part 3 expeditiously
OMG!!! I didn't see that coming!! I love the cousins, but Luca is my favorite, but don't get it twisted. i like Amant and Leo, too. I can't wait to see what happens next.
If it ain’t one thing it’s another Secrets are spilled and all snakes dealt with, so we thought Just when the couples are doing better than ever, drama comes to the crew and it’s about to be on!!
Definitely feel like this was way better as far as length and timeline of everything. Greta read again! Can’t wait to see what this grandfather has in store for them.
The story was nice just to many errors of song names mentioned at the wrong time. I knew the grandfather was too quiet after his son was killed. Dragging out the story.
