The Silent Knight is such a great read!
I really love this Christmas themed book. I was drawn in from page one. Travis is so protective over Sarah, and I love it. This book is book 2 in the series but you don't have to read them in order but the are defiantly well worth the read IMO. I love how the author adds in themes/situations that are relatable to some IRL. I would recommend adding this book and series to your TBR!

I received an ARC copy of this book via the author, and I'm willingly leaving an honest review.
This is the third book in The Knight Publishing series, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Owner of Royal Elite Security Travis and Sarah meet when he is asked to install some security at Lizzie and Sarah's place.
An instant attraction between them and they are drawn to each other.
It was great to be introduced to the rest of the Royal Elite Security team. Hopefully, they'll all get their own HEA!!

I BINGED this book in less than an hour. That is all the review you should need BUT because I loved it so much, I’m gonna go into details.
I love the fact that all of these books in the series connect. I love that characters from the first 2 books, are either mentioned or appear in the Silent Knight. When a series connects so smoothly, it really makes it feel like one big adventure but from different point of views. And I love how after reading all 3 books you see how the characters develop from their first introduction. Each character just becomes more and more detailed throughout the series.
I don’t want to go into too much detail because I really feel like people should feel all the twists, turns and change of events for the first time, as they read. But I will say, I loved Sarah and Travis. I loved that we get a strong, independent, successful woman as our FMC. Sarah is stubborn, witty, determined and nobody can stand in the way of what she wants. And here comes Travis. And he’s just as stubborn and determined as Sarah. Nothing will stand in his way, not even Sarah, from keeping her safe.
I love that we get to experience the way these two characters interact when they’re put in situations that may be outside of their comfort zones. And I love that all of this is happening during the most wonderful time of the year.
What happens when you get 2 strangers, a few unfortunate situations and a huge snow storm that causes them to be shut in for a few days?

I thoroughly enjoyed this little spicy Christmas romance. It was giving hallmark movie but add a lot more spice. The characters are developed well for a novella, you get insight into both of their backgrounds to a degree and who they are as people. I admire her being a stronger woman who allows herself to be taken care of when needed. He’s an independent and strong willed man who knows what he wants. I definitely enjoyed the dynamic between them. It was fast paced to a degree but not in an unrealistic way, kind of like a hallmark Christmas movie. He’s a grinch, she’s a Christmas bug, the dynamic is great. I loved reading it. In terms of spice, it was beautifully spicy and I was here for it. Their chemistry was brilliantly built up. I have to put it at a 4/5 cause the scenes are frequent and detailed. Overall I’m rating this one a 5/5 cause I definitely see myself reading it again it was so good.

This is a great Christmas Novella! Travis and Sarah are the perfect showing of one loving Christmas and one not.
Travis! What a man. A protector, sir, and daddy? He fell hard for Sarah and took such good care of her.
“I’m going to watch over you and protect you. That’s what I’m here for,”
Sarah an independent, strong woman, who doesn’t need protection until she does. She doesn’t shy away from the connection she feels for Travis. Sarah can watch all the Hallmark movies her heart desires.
“Oh, Travis you feel so good. Everything you do feels so good.” I moan.
I loved the novella and really enjoyed the connection Sarah and Travis built.

So we already know a little bit about Sarah and Travis from the previous books. But boy, we didn't really know them!!!
Sarah is Miss Independent but given the right situation (and man) she is submissive putty.
Travis is just HOT from the get go! He takes Sarah's security very seriously and then he takes her heart even more.
I want more of these two, Christmas just wasn't enough!

I absolutely loved this quick little holiday spicy novella! L.B Martin sure knows how to write the men in this series! I love Travis so much. He’s so sweet and caring but dominant all at the same time. His and Sarah’s story is perfect for this time of year. Gave me Hallmark Christmas vibes but make it spicy! Thank you to the author for sending me an arc of this to review. It comes out Dec. 5, definitely add it to your TBR for this holiday season!

Super fast-paced. And what I needed after finishing two emotionally heavy books. I didn't realize that this book was a part of a series, and I think that did hinder my full enjoyment. There were characters and situations mentioned that I didn't grasp. Overall, it wasn't a need for me to go back, but I think I would have enjoyed it more. Sarah didn't fight her connection with Travis, and I so appreciated that. So many books try to have one or the other fighting their attracting and it can get annoying. This one didn't have that issue. Finished it in about an hour since it was so short.

Why oh why can't I find a decent Christmas read?!?!
Ok throw everything you can think of.....romance, a wee bit of drama, an over the top, I'm an independent women and can take care of myself even in stupid situations, Dom, daddy usage and Insta love and you have this short book! I'm pretty sure if rolling your eyes repeatedly could get them stuck that way mine would have been! Negative stars imo.✌

This book gives you all the happy Christmassy feels!! Although Sarah goes through a bit of a traumatic experience it doesn’t take away from the christmas feeling!
Sarah and travis’ relationship is a whirlwind of amazing spice and protectiveness!! They go together so well and I wish I could read more about their journey!!

This is my very first read by the Author. I really liked her style of writing. This was a very sweet Christmas Novella. I very much enjoyed reading about Travis & Sarah. I was invested in these characters from the first to the last page. It was such a fun Christmas Novella to read. Looking forward to reading more from the Author in the future.

I am a sucker for the grumpy x sunshine trope and boy did this novella deliver! Travis and Sarah literally start with a bang, when she collided into him. At less than 200 pages it was a fast read for me. I enjoyed the spice - and there was plenty. I can’t wait to see what else LB puts out (a new to me author).

I didn't realize this wasn't a standalone, but it could very well have been. It's cute as a little holiday story, but honestly, it was just terribly written. This made me fall asleep several times when I honestly should've been able to finish it in a couple hours.

This was a super cute Christmas novella that had me hooked from the first to the last page. I have read every book in the knight series so I knew I would love this and went in to it blindly and I’m glad I did everything was great. I love that Sara had Travis to lean on when she needed someone the most and he was constantly reassuring

Let's be honest Travis is PERFECT!
I loved everything about this novella. The instant connection between Travis and Sarah and the way he immediately became protective of her. And the SPICE shew.

Travis and Sarah story, this is a great Christmas Novella an easy to read with a few heated scenes.
For me I wished this was a full book as these characters were so interesting we didn’t get to see them grow.

another great love story!!!
I’ve absolutely loved all three of these books. Waiting for this one I read the first two twice, and was excited but also a tad nervous when I started this one because the first two were so good but I was not disappointed at all! Loved the characters and their stories! I can’t wait to see what she writes next!!

This was an easy and quick read with some Christmas magic perfect to get you into the feels.
Travis owns a security company because he has a need to protect everyone as he couldn't save his friend in the army. He seems a bit grumpy but really he is a softy at heart. He likes to dominate in the bedroom department and doesn't do Christmas jolly.
Sarah is independent, headstrong and loves everything Christmas.
They have met a few times because of Miles and Lizzie.
When Sarah's life is threatened, Travis takes control and keeps her safe at his place.
Their chemistry has been building since they first met. Their Spicy time is very hot.
When snowed in their relationship builds more and Sarah manages to get him to get into the Christmas spirit. What I loved the most was how thoughtful and caring he is and that present was perfect.
This was perfect read for Christmas, while you're taking a break.

Another fantastic story from L.B. Martin!
The Silent Knight breaks off and takes place on the same timeline as The Write Knight. Sarah is Lizzie's best friend and while Lizzie is off frolicking around with Miles after her encounter with her ex Sarah is hanging at the apartment getting mouthy with Travis. Travis and Sarah quickly fall for each other and all she wants to do is spend time with him, so much so that thankfully after an incident happens with her, he happens to be heading to the event that she had invited him to, putting him in the right place at the right time to help her.
The storyline is well-written, and the spice is amazing. I always enjoy the character interactions and the banter in each of these stories and this one doesn't disappoint. I love Sarah and Travis so much! Their story is so cute and heartwarming. I love that the story starts out with a conflict immediately and then jumps you back a few days, so you are right back into the timeline we left in The Write Knight. It makes me happy to watch how everything gets connected and come together. These characters are sassy and stubborn, and I cannot get enough. I am so excited for the next book in this series!

This is the third book by LB Martin that I have read and once again, she delivered. I absolutely loved getting to read Sarah’s story, even if it was only a novella. It had all the excitement that I have come to love from Martin, the possessive alpha male and the sassy female lead all wrapped into a wonderful Christmas story. Definitely would recommend.
