This was an interesting read. The book basically talks about buying a property under value market and using properties as equity to get a larger loan for subsequent properties. What the book doesn't highlight is the actual debt one person will have after having so many properties. The book comes across as having 10 properties is great and implies you are doing well when in actual fact the investor is basically hitting renters and sellers hard so the investor can pay off their interest on the loan. I don't agree with undercutting individuals who saved their whole life on their house when you know that the property is worth more and then buying it to increase the rent.

Picked this up to better understand property buying in Australia, especially since I felt totally lost during early chats with mortgage brokers. The book was a solid, practical guide with real-world examples and useful tips—especially around refinancing and the author’s “3 Golden Rules.” I found the first half engaging and informative, but the later case studies (Angela and David) felt repetitive and more boring to get through.

Still, it was a helpful read for someone like me, new to the Australian market. More graphics or summaries could’ve improved the flow, but overall, I learned a lot.
