I guess I either want a soul-debilitating, all-thought consuming experience or extreme and savage spice. This was something in between so it didn’t hit the same. It was fun. I loved the wings. But it didn’t touch my soul the way I was hoping.
I wanted more. The wings and description of the wings, excellent. But I was not consumed by it.

Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy have a fake relationship that benefits the both of them.
Draco pisses off Lucius whilst Hermione's image improves for her future canidate as Minister of Magic.
She knows that the relationship is fake and doesn't go beyond their occasional hookup, but Draco has the habit of fake proposing to her all the time and inn retaliation she breaks up with him everytime.
This has been going on for a long time and Hermione knows that Draco doesn't see her as anything more, so when she sprouts wings after a meeting with an enraged female Veela, why does he seem so facinated by them instead of running away in fear?

i think love & other misfortunes is a better veela fic so it gets the 5 stars
although i really liked this one as well
again this is only 18k words so

i do love senlinyu's writing though
like i read so much of her work back to back and it was all similar but still unique and still GOOD #props
ohhh this one was cute of the curse/ proposal aspect
shucks theyre all cute
always the malfoys not having daughters thing i like that its carried over; altho idk if its from original HP or a senlinyu addition

Great, quick read. I wish this was/becomes a longer fic because the prior and present circumstances in the storyline would make for a wonderful longer Dramione storyline filled with so much pining & Veela kink.

I love the way the whole 'Draco is a Veela' concept was approached in this one. Much more lighthearted and playful than Love & Other Misfortunes, but still a great storyline and another enjoyable read.
