"Return me to myself" is not an ordinary book, it is a character-book because it is made up of thoughts, hopes and pains, it is written like a liberating tsunami and takes us through the labyrinth of author's emotions, who walks with his soul outside, inviting us to explore together a slice of life that may resemble mine or yours, the readers. The lack of love and too much wasted love leave deep scars that Alex Andronic chose not to hide anymore, putting in front of us this mirror of the vulnerability that most of us face, a mirror that pulsates with life and in which the reality, often painful, it is intertwined with the dream of perfect and timeless love. In this book, the writer Alex Andronic puts a part of the human being under the microscope and shows to us that the paste that people are made of is made up of sorrows, longings, joys and pains and that we are not impassive and untouchable people, as is often we want to appear to others in a world where appearances matter far too much.
"Return me to myself", apart from its intrinsic artistic value, constitutes a landmark in contemporary literature, because no one has so far plunged, head first and without a lifeline, into the deep waters of introspection.

Starting this book, I was confused since the narrative is quite jumbled. However, when I got further into it, I noticed that it was written like that for a reason. It was very enduring and had a lot of good messages discussed. I enjoy the fact that it asks questions to the reader in a more personal way. It really makes you stop and think.
