The Saga of Southwest Western

Wilder : A Western Frontier Story

Rate this book
Here comes another western adventure of relentless action, obstacles and a touch of western romance

Wilder Slade spent the war hoping he would die.
But … fate had other plans, thrusting him into a battle he could never have foreseen.

Three women are missing. One of them is his own niece.

It’s been five long years since Wilder saw his brother, but you don’t turn your back on family. When he shows up, the truth is worse than he’d imagined.
The kidnappers are demanding a ransom. If the men don’t pay, the girls are dead.
But their fathers don’t have so much as half of what the outlaws are asking for.

Wilder is their only hope.

He sets off with Blaze Harkin, a fiery dancer and mother to one of the abducted. Blaze is determined to get her daughter back, and in the process gives Wilder something he hasn’t had before—a reason to live.

But it may be too late.

Skinner Monroe and his gang are closing in on them.
As Wilder races against the clock, every step forward threatens to be his last.
Will he defy fate's cruel hand and emerge victorious, or will he be consumed in a hail of bullets, leaving the fate of the women hanging by a thread?

Who needs this violence

I have not funished reading this book. By the time I had read 12 % of it, I had been shocked by violence in each chapter...innocents who were killed, stabbed, burned to death. I don't know how good the rest of the book is, I don't need this junk. I read for entertainment. I expect violence in western books, but not like this.

Hard fought and well won

The story was great. I read it in two days. The fast action and hard fighting was good. The girls were so brave. Good over evil wins all the time. Thanks for a great read. I will read more of your stories. Thank you!

We know he can take a beating and is recklessly brave. Jury is out on knife fighting, brawling, refiling, and aiming of any kind.
Not sure how to take the story tbh.

In my opinion wilder was not the star of this book it certainly was Sadie. If not for her those girls would have die.

It was a struggle to finish this poorly conceived story.
Unpleasant characters and an unbelievable so-called plot.

I never seen a decorated soldier get shot, cut and hammered!

It's A family thing, and that's what Leonard provides in this story. You can enjoy the way things, just work out.

Wilder good book

I liked this book because it kept you guessing what what was next, that poor Wilder was shot so many times when he drinks it comes out every where.
