Understanding the constitution's basic structure and content is important. This book helps. The more readers the better. A big reason America isn't working is because far too many Americans don't know how it's supposed to work.

I've been intending to read the Constitution from start to finish for the first time in decades since the 2020 election and the festivities surrounding it. This book (or perhaps similar offerings out there) is a better way to do it. It reviews the origins of the document and the context it was written in. Each article, section, and amendment is reviewed - why they were considered necessary, and examples of court cases that arose. This book did exactly what I was hoping it would. This doesn't make me an expert in Constitutional law, but I certainly know more than before.
