Greg Doyle has been a Reiki master/energy healer for the past eight years, and has been working as a Reiki channel over the past thirteen years. His interest and expertise in the mind/body/spirit connection, particularly in the areas of energy healing, meditation and the Out-of-Body-Experience (or astral travel/projection), has seen him help many people in his native Australia move forward through their pain and obstacles and connect more fully with their joy and potential.

As a trained classical musician, Greg discovered the benefits of meditation in his early twenties to help combat the stress of stage fright, recognizing the greater aspect of self in the process. In his late thirties, he began to leave his physical body spontaneously, and so began a guided process of consciousness expansion that would not only divert his career, but would also alter his very perception of being.

Greg also teaches Reiki and meditation and has recently begun helping people awaken the dormant sense of astral projection that lies within them, using the energetic tools that he has developed over the past decade. He believes that astral awareness is a particularly valuable tool for spiritual expansion, as it is by its very nature fully experiential.

Greg is available for talks, workshops and healing sessions, and can be contacted through his email directly. Zoom workshops/sessions are also possible.

He has written various articles on these subjects in Australian alternative magazines, and has a website at www.gregdoyleastral.com

Greg is also a passionate surfer and is currently living with his wife, Monika, a flautist, in Brisbane, Australia..

Awakening the Giant Within - A Personal Adventure into the Astral Realms is his first book and outlines the journey of his spiritual awakening.

The title of this book , ”Awakening the giant within”, reflects the considerable personal/spiritual growth (awakening) experienced by the author which, as far as I understand, he ascribes to his travels in the astral realms.

Travelling out of the body is amazing enough, for most of us, but this is not your run-of-the mill book on OBEs. Greg flies out into space, experiences other worlds/dimensions and has all sorts of strange experiences. He experiences succubi (beings – if that is what they are – “(preying) on men’s sexual desires”, alien abductions, parallel lives, parallel universes, etc etc. He feels that the alien abductions may be astral phenomena.

He feels these phenomena to be absolutely real.

These extraordinary experiences do not seem to perturb Greg unduly. He takes them all in his stride.

In one encounter with the Galactic Federation he asks why we are not a part of this planetary collective and receives the answer “Because you continue to kill your own.” Thought-provoking! We are sort of used to the fact that we humans kill each other and it’s like a slap on the face to be confronted with this remark – it is brought home to us how appalling this is, and how lacking we are in our development.

Greg found strange marks on his foot which no doctors could explain, of course, and had an energetic implant in his head removed by another Reiki master (he himself is a Reiki master).

He has many, many astonishing experiences, some of which I can hardly get my head around.

He travels to an English-looking city called England in a country called London. Ha, ha! The people here could see him and communicate with him, while when he was on the Earth in another dimension, this was not the case.

He experiences what he terms “the dark side” and battles with a dark power in female form. When finally he feels empathy for her, her face transforms into “beauty and radiance" and he realizes that there is no such thing as evil or fear, but that these are “miscomprehensions” or “misinterpretations”. We need to surrender to the heart.

He has a female guide who informs him that there exist frequencies at the top of the head, and if we listen for these and focus on the “uppermost of these tones” we can effect a “mind-body exit” more easily.

I especially appreciated the chapter entitled “A Sherpa in thongs”, where Greg describes his knowing that his material well-being was not dependent on his income. He knows that he is abundance, that it is his birthright, as is wellness. He knows that he is God. I knew these things already, but reading of Greg’s insights has helped me to better integrate these knowings, which were more on an intellectual level.

Greg does not only recount his many and various experiences, but also expresses his views on life in no uncertain terms. I am absolutely in agreement with these views, particularly as regards our punishment system, where we are made to suffer instead of “being healed in some way or even loved”. My views exactly! Why can’t everybody see this?

However, I felt that the chapters expressing his views were somewhat out of place, and it confused me somewhat. It was like since he now had our attention he wanted to get everything out. Also it was sometimes difficult to understand what he meant with various statements, as though he took it for granted that we could immediately understand him without further explanation, when in fact this was not always the case.

Greg is wonderfully articulate, so the book is a joy to read quite apart from its content. This is really an exceptional book, and I greatly recommend that you read it.

I found this book absolutely fascinating. I had never read anything about Astral Projection before, but this made me want to investigate further and even question some of the experiences I had in my early life! The book was entertaining and a joy to read. I also loved the inclusion of Reiki, too.

Beautiful book! I really enjoyed the author's excursions into the astral realm, as well as his thoughts along the way. This book was not only interesting and well-written, but also entertaining! I particularly enjoyed Mr Doyle's statement, "Fear has become our ruling premise" and his expansion on how detrimental this is throughout the book.

In addition to the instructions for astral travel and shared experiences, was a wealth of insight into our dysfunctional, distracted, conditioned worldview. Many of the points he made about our education system, materialism, fear, and control, mirror conversations I've had with my son lately. Thank you for sharing this book with us! If the intention was to encourage readers to try it, I think I am one step closer!
