My name is Eve. I am a demon-angel hybrid, the daughter of Lucifer. I have officially descended to hell and the crown is set to be mine. I was so looking forward to this 3rd book in the Pulse series that the pages just flew by while I was reading it. It did not disappoint!
At this point, the characters are beginning to feel like personal acquaintances. Eve, our FMC, is exploring the Underworld and her relationship with her father. While this is happening, her Demon side is getting stronger, leading to some hormone filled, questionable decisions. Jarek, Eve's attache of sorts, finds himself having feelings for Eve— lust as well as something more. Eve definitely feels attraction to Jarek, and is developing a fondness for him as a "person." Meanwhile, Will still has feelings for Eve among worry that since traveling to the Underworld , Eve will lose her humanity. Which leaves him frustrated and fearful.
There is so much going on! Underworld politics are just as ridiculous and entertaining as human politics. As Eve and her father end up on opposing sides, she begins to realize that her life is about to change even more than it already has.
And now here's me waiting for 2025 to get here so that the next book will be available! This one ends on a cliffhanger and I just need more!!

Descension picks up where City of Angels left off; Eve is starting her training in Hell to take over her father's throne. By her side is Jarek, Luciferr's right-hand man and consistent pain in Eve's side. As she fights her growing feelings for the demon, Eve can't stop thinking about Will, her vampire lover on Earth. Time passes differently in the underworld, and Eve and Jarek grow closer as she trains. But with unrest on Earth escalating, there's more than one party wanting reassurance that Eve won't go power-hungry when she takes over. With Lucifer backing her, Eve makes a deal and faces betrayal from an unlikely source. Now, she has to face a paranormal PR team working on getting her image together for an election over the throne of Hell while juggling the affections of both Jarek and Will.
Seeing Eve coming into hee power more with each story has me riveted on her growth. I also understand our girl's infatuation with both of her bad boys, but this love triangle needs to become a why choose ASAP. Plus, there may be a new player on the romance board soon, and my heart already can't decide amongst the current options. Please, please, please, I need this to become a thing. Will treats her so well, but Jarek is also fighting for her, and our girl is the cream in a spicy Oreo. I can't wait to see how the next part of the story plays out!

As Eve, the daughter of Lucifer and an angel, continues to learn about her demon side and how to take over Lucifer’s job so he can have a vacation things get a bit crazy. Before she learned about the rest of her heritage, she had fallen for Will a vampire, who fights the fallen. Jarek, was a human that went to hell but got a job with Lucifer and now is a demon. Eve is also drawn to him. Jarek helps her learn about her demon side and Lucifer’s job. The Commission and The Order all want a meeting with Eve. So much happens in this book that I did not see coming. I’m a bit upset with both Will and Jarek for things that happen in this book. I seriously want to hit both of them for their stupidity. A lot of manipulation happens in this book and it actually seems to affect the reader as well, or it did me at least. lol. I cried, laughed, giggled, chewed on my nails and saw red, I got so angry. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

This was a highly anticipated read for me and it did not disappoint. My favourite thing about this series so far is the detail and intricacies of the world that has been created. I can clearly put myself in the pages of the story.
Eve is finding it hard to keep her humanity in tact while in Hell and her demon sidekick, Jarek, doesn’t make it easier. Will and Eve’s relationship suffers even more turmoil and the big question is; who will Eve pick? Will or Jarek?
I found the book fun to read as well as interesting and there were a few ‘edge of your seat’ moments. I did not see the twist toward the end coming or the cliff hanger. I really loved the book and would highly recommend the whole series.
Looking forward to the next book coming in 2025.

Andrea Lee did it again! Pulse Descension was everything that I have been waiting and hoping for!
Eve has gone through so much in this book. Hell is not easy on her. Eve is so strong even with everything going on. Building a relationship with her father and trying to figure out who she is on her demon side.
She struggles a lot with her human and demon sides. At times, she feels like her humanity is slipping through her fingers. Unfortunately, because of this her and Will‘s relationship is hanging on by a thread. Her feelings for Jarek makes everything even more complicated.
This book was so captivating! toward the ending of the book, there are a lot of twist and turns I did not see coming! The cliffhanger is everything!
Also, for the girls who love spicy this book is giving spicy 🌶🌶🌶

I’m in a love/hate relationship with these characters lol
I was team Will, seductive Will, loving Eve’s humanity. Wanting her to push her demon side down and lock it away … but then Jarek .. and damn he’s fine and makes no secret about his attraction to Eve, encouraging her to embrace the demon inside her.
And don’t forget dear old Dad! Dude is a menace 😂😂 as only one could expect from the ruler of hell. Can he have a soft side or is his vengeance all consuming?
Ugh I cannot wait for book 4!!

Eve is now with her father and Jarek. She learns what life is like with her father and her relationship with Jarek is changing. But Will, the man she loves, is always there. She knows they are lost without each other. Then it inevitably happens. Eve's father betrays her, that is his nature and Eve must now find her way. And her enemies gather. There's only one thing to do to regain her throne, but that also means she won't see her friends anymore. That her normal life is over forever. Sage is also in for a change, one that will put her relationship with Eve on edge. I have to say that I didn't expect this story, book 3, to get any better. But believe me it only gets better. This story is truly one to read and enjoy. Every page brings a different surprise, a different twist, that you won't see coming. So highly recommended.

Yes... Eve and Jarek finally hook up. In this third installment of the Pulse series. You can feel every emotion Eve is experiencing. The turmoil from her breakup with Will. The angst between Jarek and Will. Not to mention the culmination of her father's betrayal. Her best friend becoming a supernatural being. I could go on and on. These books are so well-written. I am eagerly anticipating the release of book 4.

I love this series and I can’t help but reading it in one sitting and then being annoyed by myself because I have to wait for the next, when I should have read it slower, but this is a fantastic read, great characters and I can’t wait to read the fourth and final book

Wow!!! Intense, addictive, detailed read that took my emotions on a roller coaster journey. multi layered characters. Plenty of suspenseful scenes. Read this now. It's amazing.

Descension, Book 3 in the Pulse Series. Once again, if you have not read the previous two books, you will be a little lost. This picks up with our FMC, Eve (human, angel, demon hybrid), training with Jarek (demon), one of the MMCs, in Hell. The other MMC, Will (vampire), is still in the picture and we will end it at that to not give spoilers. This book is told from their POVs, which makes it more interesting, in the first book we only had Eve's POV. The writing is smooth and easy to read, and the story is getting more in-depth as we learn everyone's backstories. I tore through the first three books in a week and loved it. If supernatural romance is your thing, these are for you. Just note, each one ends on a cliffhanger.

Fantastic paranormal romance!
I loved this third book in the Pulse series. Eve has taken her place in the Underworld with her father trying to learn her powers since she is 1/3 human, 1/3 demon, and 1/3 angel. Since her father, Lucifer, wants her to take over for him so he can take a break. She struggles with some of the tests since her humanity gets in the way, and her feelings keep developing for Jarek even though she is still in love with Will. When her father commands her to kill Will, she nearly does it but she realizes that she loves him too much.
But when she meets with all the different factions about whether she can rule the underworld, all hell breaks loose (pun intended) since Lucifer had a different plan in mind the whole time. Now Eve is crushed that her father really doesn’t care about her.
With the underworld now in a tizzy, Eve, Will and Jarek have to play the political game in order to win the vote for Eve to rule Hell. Cant wait to see what happens next!

Book 3 was really really good! It was a long awaited addition to the series and I have to say it didn't disappoint. I love the intensity of the story and how it grabbed me right at once and I wasn't lost on the details or the story before. While it is a struggle for Eve to maintain who she is, she is fighting with every breath she has. I cannot wait to find out what happens to her love life. Is it a choice I will be happy with? Stay tuned for the next book!

This is my favorite series! I love Eve and I love reading about her journey to finding herself! The world Lee has created is a fully fleshed out alternative universe where all the paranormal creatures of earth, heaven, and hell have their our rules and governing bodies. Eve is navigating all of this world and its rules while discovering who she is herself. ✨
Every character has their own personality and backstory. Every detail has forethought and ties all the plot lines together. There are still twists and turns that you are not expecting. It is just such a fun story to read.🥹
The SPICE is SPICY in this one! My fave demon (*cough* Jarek *cough*) finally get his time to shine and I don’t think I could love him more. You need to read this book series!🌶️

Thank you Author Andrea Lee for the ARC! Listen to me when I say that this is so good!! You need to read the previous books but go do it because they are worth the read! Eve is part devil and part angel. She's in love with vampire Will but also in lust with her "hellish" trainer. There's spice and supernatural fun for all! I can't wait for the next book!!
