Taken By the Zypherian King is a standalone sci-fi alien romance by Bella Blair, and is part of the Abducted by the Ruthless Royal series.

I'm not sure how to explain this book. I enjoyed it a lot, but was an easy and fast book to read - as in, not only is it a relatively easy read, but there is an acceptance of the alien world and instalove that makes it quite lighthearted. Which, in a book that features humans who have been abducted from Earth and then sold, is a complete contrast to what I had been expecting. While this might deter some readers, I personally enjoyed it, particularly since I was just coming off of reading a rather intense book and this proved to be the perfect palette cleanser.

Alice is a strong human character. She had been abducted from Earth, and while she and fellow humans and assorted alien women didn't know exactly what was going on with them and their captors, she has the grit and determination to make it. Her life is upturned the second time when she is transported to a new planet where she meets Zayden, an alien king who needs a mate. Zayden is equally strong in character, he has to be to be the strong ruler that he is, a being that was once much further down the line of succession who was now a king. These two seem to have everything going against them at first, which is why I got invested in the story in the first place.

Zayden, the male alien lead, has fought all comers to be crowned king of his planet when the previous king and heir died. Now, the priests are telling him his queen needs to have pale skin and golden hair. Desperate, he agrees to his second-in-command’s suggestion to contact slave traders.

Alice, the female human lead, woke up on a slave trader’s ship, was given the basic rules, and left, with ninety nine other females, in a functional harem. She has no idea what she’s going to do but she knows she won’t acquiesce to whatever her purchaser wants!

When Alice is brought before Zayden, he’s thrilled that she seems to be exactly what he wanted but, when she refuses him, he’s stymied. He’s sure she’s attracted to him, though, so he just needs to woo her…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and a fast-paced sci fi romance. I empathised with Alice’s determination to not just be what her purchaser wanted but agreed with her fellow captives that there were worse situations for her to end up in. I enjoyed Zayden’s strong emotions tempered by his desire for Alice’s consent. I enjoyed the speedy relationship development and chuckled at the banter.

Taken by the Zypherian King: Abducted by the Ruthless Royal, I absolutely fell in love with this book. Taken by the Zypherian King Follows the story of Alice and Zayden. Alice is a human woman who is abducted by alien slave traders. She is taken to a handsome looking alien who happens to be a king. This alien king informs Alice that he plans to make her his queen. Zayden is an alien king, who is told by priests that he must find a pale blonde and make her his queen. Zayden doesn’t plan on resigning as king, so he begins his search. When Alice is brought before him, Zayden tells her that he wants to crown her as his queen. Even though Alice is attracted to Zayden, she isn’t very keen on his plans. This has Zayden being forced to use all of his battle strategies to conquer his reluctant queen and make her HIS. I throughly enjoyed reading this book to the point where I couldn’t set my kindle down until I finished it. I find that Bella Blair writes amazingly entertaining alien romances that are enjoyable to read. I would highly recommend this book to others who enjoy well-written alien romances.

For what one would assume to be a ruthless alien leader, having killed all his opposition to the throne of his world, Zayden is surprisingly gentle and patient with Alice, who he has bought to become his queen. As with Bella’s other sci-fi romances, it’s surprising how well Zayden can navigate a human female body, a species entirely new to him, and how he knows just what buttons to push. Of course, that does not spare him from Alice’s wrath and he has to fight to win her over with a bit of strategic maneuvering. Contrary to what you would think, Zayden is a likeable character and doesn’t want to force Alice to accept him as her king. In fact, I had more trouble warming to Alice as she struggled to come to terms with her situation. Although I could understand her to a point, she felt a bit too stubborn at times given that the safety and luxury Zayden offered was surely better than many other worst-case scenarios. It’s a quick read and all in good fun really, so sit back and enjoy.

This was a brilliant book and I loved how Alice and Zayden finally got there HEA in the end. Alice is a human female that has been abducted by Alien Slavers who are on a mission to find the King his Queen and when Zayden see’s Alice he knows she is the one for him and she has been taken to the Palace to be the King’s Queen but she isn’t going to make this easy for the handsome King. King Zayden has been told if he wants to keep the Crown he must wed a blond hair pale skin female or step down but Zayden would do anything for his people and has no choice but to contact the Slavers to find him a Queen. He is sent photos of the females and Alice catches his eye and he knows she is the one for him and buys her and now she is at the Palace and he is eager to see his Queen but she isn’t thrilled about being his Queen and is strong willed and very feisty but he can tell she lies him so he is going to woo her and make her his.

Alice is a strong willed young woman and when a tall, muscled, charming alien tells her he has bought her to be his queen her reaction is not as he expected. Instead of falling at his feet and gushing over him she says she wants nothing to do with him and wants to go home.

Zayden is strong, charismatic leader who has fought hard to get where he is. Having been told by the priests he will lose everything if he doesn't find a golden haired, pale skinned female as his bride, he is at first infuriated. However, one look at the alien female his friend found for him from the slave traders and he is beyond smitten. Now he just has to convince her to be his queen. Let the fun and games begin.

A quirky, passionate romance that was at turns hilarious, intriguing and hot. Another thoroughly enjoyable story from this author.

Our author's imagination is one I love to get lost in. Her richly described characters and locations allowed me to be part of the scene. Communication is so important, whether talking with someone or just dealing with issues in your head, as Alice found out.
Alice was one of many humans that were abducted and later bought by a royal. She's smart, feisty and learning more about herself and the new world she is in. She has studied the history of this new world and Zaydan, both of which grow very important to her.
Zaydan is King and was told by the priests he must marry to stay King. It is the will of the gods. Taking care of his people and this world are very important to him. So he buys a human. This all leads to a very good story with plot twists, indecision, a touch of jealousy and wonderful steamy scenes.

After a brutal war for his throne, Zayden is informed by their priests he needs a pale skinned, blonde bride to be his queen. Asking a friend to find him his future bride, he doesn’t question where the candidates have been found. He is drawn to a human woman, Alice, immediately. Alice, however, was recently abducted from Earth she is reeling and has no intention of becoming the alien king’s bride.

This is a quick, insta love novella that is well written and engaging. I would love to have been able to have experienced more of the world and some of the characters. I hope the author writes more in this world.

Zayden has just become King of his world after a battle and now the priesthood is telling him that he needs a specific bride. He calls upon his war commander for help in this matter and they order her from traders. However, the traders have stolen a bunch of women from Earth and elsewhere and are selling them. He buys Alice and others as the bio warden, aka doctor, doesn’t know a baseline for humans. Zayden is gorgeous and things go crazy with cultural misunderstandings as well as the whole ‘buying’ thing. Once those are overcome, things get steamy! Zayden is also romantic and the book has a lot of funny parts. I loved it.

This is a quick read with an instalove/fated mates trope and a HEA. Alice and other humans had been abducted by aliens and were being sold as slaves. King Zayden was told by priests that according to the gods he had to marry a light skinned blonde female in order to remain king. Alice stubbornly resists when she finds out his purpose for buying her but she realizes he is an honorable male and won’t force her to become queen. He wants her to choose him. I liked the main character, Alice. She is strong and stubborn but also practical. Her inner dialogue/arguments cracked me up. Her assigned handmaiden was an entertaining side character. Alice and Zayden had good chemistry and some spicy moments. An easy to read and entertaining story.

Taken by the Zypherian King is a spicy Sci-Fi romance that has the Gods of King Zayden decreeing he has to obtain a golden haired, and pale fleshed Queen or forfeit his throne.
Not about to give up his hard won throne Zayden begins the hunt.
Alice was taken from Earth by alien slavers and is about to find a new home on Zypheria after Zayden sees a hologram of Alice and his fierce reaction to her image has him claiming MINE!
An entertaining read follows as Alice doesn’t make it easy for Zayden after she comes down from the drugged state the slavers induced, and her new King gets a lesson in how to handle an obstinate human female as he sets out wooing her.
Fun, short read with an HEA.

Zayden is the new king of Zypheria after a long war but is told by his priests that the only way he will keep the crown and control over his people as opposed to invaders is to have a blonde haired pale skinned queen. Zayden has never seen anyone by that description so his aid asks one of the ships of traders. Alice was kidnapped from earth by traders and when Zayden sees her hologram he knows she’s the one he wants.

I wished this story was so much longer! I want to see their reign together and learn more about Zypheria and how the settling in and rebuilding after the war goes. Great spice and I loved the relationship building. Such a great read.

This is Alice and Zayden's story and starts with Alice being abducted by alien "traders". Zayden the king of Zypheria is told he must find a queen with blond hair and pale skin by the priests of his world in order to win favor with the gods. Zayden's friend suggests he check with the traders. When Zayden sees a hologram of Alice he instantly knows she is the one. But can he win her over? Alice is very distrustful after her ordeal and not one to back down easily when confronted. Check it out and see who wins this battle of wills.

He was next in line for the throne. But to become King he has to defeat several others determined to claim the crown. Finally he is King but can only remain so if he takes the right bride for queen within the next rotation. In desperation, he highers traders to bring him his bride. She arrives but all is not as easy as it should be. She is not happy to be kidnapped and sold even if she gets to be queen. Can the Zapherian King win her trust and love or be forced to marry another or loose his crown. Read the story and find out. I highly recommend you check this entertaining story out.

This was an enjoyable book by Bella Blair and is part of a series collaboration involving several authors called Abducted by the Ruthless Royal. I enjoyed getting to know both Alice and Zayden as well as some of the descriptions of the planet that Zayden rules. Alice's head servant Mach-Nak-Tho was also an entertaining character and I enjoyed the epilogue. I look forward to reading more from this author as well as some of the other books from this series.

Zayden has to find a golden-haired, pale-fleshed woman to be his Queen, as the gods have stated if he is to keep his kingdom. In order to achieve this he has to do the one thing he hates, deal with slave traders. When he sees Alice's hologram he knows she is the one for him, but when Alice arrives she is not so keen and Zayden realises that he will have to work hard if he is to win the affections of Alice and make her his Queen. A heartwarming short story with lots of drama that will leave you unable to put this book down.

This was a fun read that I had thought would be much darker than it turned out to be ;) Alice and other human gals were abducted from Earth to be sold off. Zayden, after warring for years, finally has conquered his enemies and is king...except he's told he must have a queen. He buys Alice and can't get over the connection he feels to her. He isn't interested in forcing her, though, he wants her to choose him. Alice was strong and feisty and stubborn. She adapted pretty well to what turned out to be the best possible outcome for an alien abduction. I loved the drama, angst, chemistry and steam as they worked their way to an HEA. Good fun!

Zayden has fought to be king and he won't loose his crown because a priest says he needs to marry a blonde. Alice understandably still has some reservations about a guy who would purchase a person but she's pragmatic enough to know beggars can't be choosers so she makes him work for it. (I love it when the guy falls first but needs to work for the female's affection) Bella Blair has created a new world that I hope we see more of. This is a short read that is one of 11 books in the Abducted by the Ruthless Royal series but it is a stand alone so feel free to read it on its own.

Zaden and Alice. The Priests tell him the Gods will is for him to find a golden haired pale fleshed female to wed. Hes so angry. Where do they suggest I find her. The Gods will provide they say. He asks his war commander to find her and where will he find her. The Traders of course and find her he does. She was taken by the aliens and given to a king to be his queen. He brought forth feelings of desire and angry. She was going to make sure he knew how she felt abought being kidnapped. Loved Loved this story. Had romance action twists and turns and she is making him work for it.

Zayden is a ruler who must secure his crown through marriage to a golden haired pale skinned woman. He is king of a planet filled with blue skinned and dark haired women. So he outsources the job and traders provide options. He picks Alice and is immediately drawn to her like no other. However, Alice was abducted, drugged and less than excited to be sold. Shocker right? It all works out in the end and they get their HEA! It was a shorter read but had enough depth to make you connect with the characters.

I really enjoyed this story. Zayden and Alice were great characters. The plot was interesting and so was the world building.
This story starts with a decre from the Gods. That results in Zayden purchasing the kidnapped and enslaved Alice with the intention of marrying her to retain his kingdom. As expected Alice isn't exactly Keen on the idea but it certainly beat enslavement, and eventually with time understanding and affection for the other grew on both sides and a real Romance blossomed between the two of them.

I was looking for a fast paced alien romance and this one delivered. Even though he was a bit dense and didn't realize some of things he was doing was hurtful, I get he was trying to make a back up plan just in case. I enjoyed his caring side when it came to Alice. He really did love her from the first moment he saw her. Alice was stubborn but she was dealing with a lot at the time. She really gave him a run for his money.

Bella Blair’s Taken by the Zypherian King is a great quick read featuring a king being forced to choose a queen to stabilize the kingdom after a long struggle. He finds his bride in a group of trafficked women from earth. Zayden has chosen a fiesty woman who makes him work for her even though Alice is captivated by the hunky warrior right from the start. This is a very short story so prepare for insta love. I was initially not the biggest fan because our FMC in the beginning was almost assaulted by the MMC but he did stop when she said no. I also wasn't a fan of how everyone treated our girl after she initially rejected him but thankfully our man pretty quickly fixed it. The two were very cute but if you're expecting a lot of just the two of them getting to know each other then this isn't for you.

Alice, human, was abducted from Earth a n d now sold to a Zypherian king. Zayden, Zypherian, is king and needs to find a light humor as ired pale skined wife because the gods willed. He buys one off the traders, those that kidnap and sell females. Alice is prickly despite her attraction to Zayden, but he knows exactly what to do to bring h e r around.

Alice is abducted, along with a few other women from Earth, and it seems like they are up for sale for any alien. Lucky for Alice she captures the eye of the Zyperian King (Zayden), and the sparks fly between them. I enjoyed Zayden and Alice's story, the strong attraction between them, and how Alice gives Zayden a bit of a challenge.

I highly recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed!.
