Beau Austin never thought he'd be a millionaire and he certainly never thought he'd gain his wealth from being a successful gamer. Playing for a professional E-sports company set Beau up for life at a young age. As the youngest member of The Millionaire Boys Club, Beau doesn't have much to complain about not even being newly single. When his girlfriend moved to Atlanta to further her career as a make-up artist, he didn't try to stop her. Beau is living life and having fun. When he sets his sights on the sexy Illianna, he's not prepared for her to reject him because of his age. Beau is ten years her junior, and she's not interested. Beau doesn't have an issue with applying pressure but even he has to admit that there's a fine line between applying pressure and begging.
Illianna is divorced and her only child is away at college. She's living her best life and that includes dating, but her dating prospects have an age limit. Illianna is flattered yet disappointed when she finds out the sexy Beau Austin is ten years younger than her. She's not interested at all, but Beau isn't willing to give up without a fight.
So here's the thing, I definitely enjoyed this book more than the 1st in the series. However, my issues with the book fall into 2 categories: 1) things that irked me personally & 2) things that may irk other readers.
Personal irks: Both characters frequently drive intoxicated. How ya'll got all this money and can't be assed to call a ride share. I know it's petty but that shit makes my ass itch.
General irks: Beyond a few trips, expensive gifts and having sex often, I didn't see a relationship develop. I saw 2 people go back and forth about one of them having issues with the age gap, get together, "break up", get back together, drama, unplanned pregnancy, epilogue. The relationship just rang superficial and very surface level to me. There was more than enough opportunity to provide some character and relationship development. But instead there was an unnecessary sprinkle of drama when we already had enough mess.
There is an audience for this author and unfortunately that's no longer me which sucks because I LOVED Stepmama Season.
This one was much better than the first. I actually really enjoyed this one. Ilianna was getting on my nerves tho about the age gap. It wasn’t even that bad. Anyways and look at her in the end. Lol Ilianna x Beau 🩷

I LISTENED TO THIS VIA AUDIBLES A COUPLE OF MONTHS OR SO AGO & FOUND IT BETTER THAN I'D EXPECTED, EVEN THOUGH I DON'T LIKE OLDER WOMEN WITH YOUNGER DUDES JUST FOR THE S3X OF IT. THE PART WHEN HER EX-DUDE CALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WANTING HER TO COME GET HIM FROM SOMEWHERE WHILE SHE & BEAU WERE IN BED & HE/BEAU THREW A HISSY FIT DEMANDING THAT ILLIANA HANG THE PHONE UP BECAUSE SHE CONTEMPLATED GOING TO PICK HER EX UP & DIDN'T CONSIDER THAT HE/BEAU'S YOUNG @SS WAS LAYING NEXT TO HER IN HER BED, SHOWED JUST WHY I WAS A GAINST THEM AS A PAIRING. WHEN SHE TOLD HIM, YOU KNOW WHAT? I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO LEAVE SO I CAN LOCK MY DOOR AFTER HE THREATENED TO LEAVE HER FOR NOT DOING WHAT HE COMMANDED HER TO DO, THEN HAD GOTTEN HIS FACE BROKEN BY THAT CALM & COMBATATIVE COMMENT FROM HER, HE REALIZED THAT THAT THREAT TO BOUNCE BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T DO WHAT HE DEMANDED OF HER DIDN'T HAVE THE DESIRED EFFECT HIS YOUNG @SS WAS HOPING FOR, HE KNEW WASN'T GOING NOWHERE CUS SHE DIDN'T CARE WHETHER HE LEFT OR NOT, SEEMED TO FORCE HIM TO GATHER AN UNDERSTANDING THAT HE WAS DEALING WITH A GROWN @SS WOMAN, NOT HE YOUNG CHICKS HE'D BEEN ACCUSTOMED TO MADE ME LAUGH A BIT. HE'S CONSIDERED A MILLIONAIRE NOT HER, SOOOOO....WHAT TYPE OF SCHOOL TEACHER/REAL ESTATE AGENT TAKES TIME AWAY FROM WORKING HER TWO JOBS TO GO ON A TRIP WITH A YOUNG GUY WHO'S PRACTICALLY A STRANGER TO HER? IT MADE NO SENSE TO ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 35 & KNOW THIS AIN'T HOW GROWN FOLKS DO THINGS. I WONDERED HOW BEAU REALLY FELT WHEN ILLIANA (OR HOWEVER SHE SPELLS HER NAME) DISCOVERED SHE WAS PREGNANT & CRIED UNHAPPILY ABOUT IT. THE NARRATORS'-ESPECIALLY BOTH OF THEM- VOICES ANNOYED THE HECK OUT OF ME MORE HERS THAN HIS THOUGH. ON AN INTERESTING NOTE: THIS "THE MILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB" SERIES SEEMS TO 'BORROW' FROM A SERIES I'D READ BEFORE CALLED "THE SECRET BILLIONAIRE'S SOCIETY" BY AN AUTHOR NAMED NANCY PENNICK. NOT IMPLYING THEFT OR ANYTHING; JUST GET VIBES FROM BOTH SERIES THAT'S ALL.
Age is nothing but a number! I loved Beau and L together! You really can't help who you love and I was so glad to see Beau stand on business when it came to her! Sure he had his ways, but when it was all said and done, he stood up and stood out! Never say never because it'll come back to bite you in the butt! Maturity definitely doesn't come with age because Nasir was on a whole next level! That fool wanted to have his cake and eat it too yet couldn't handle his business in the bedroom; what a joke! India and Dru were 10 cases and 2 halves! Dealing with loved ones that are addicted is a battle within itself! I'm glad L didn't turn her back on India even after all the foul ish she did to their family. Thankfully, she didn't let her doings with Dru affect what she had going on. It's crazy how people say sometimes we as women can be our own enemies. The way our mind works is so complex, Lord knows anyone dealing with us has to be special lol! I'm glad it all worked out and despite the age difference, it didn't take away from the love they had for each other. Their families came together and further meshed them together as their approval was something L needed! God truly has a sense of humor! Tell him you plans and watch him show you who is boss! Congratulations on the babies! Great read!
I actually really liked this book. This story had a bit of everything. A divorced FMC and a younger rich MMC. Both FMC and MMC have their stuff together and are not looking for anything serious. Then...you guessed it.
What I really loved about this book: 1. The FMC is a strong, accomplished woman who does not need a man for anything except companionship. She is a mother and auntie, and although she has been hurt in relationships she chooses to not let that control her life. 2. the MMC is grown although young. I am so glad the author made him an old soul. He knows what the game is and understands what he wants and what he doesn't. I also like that he is honest almost to a fault. 3. I loved that both the FMC and MMC had family members that were no good but didn't down them because of it.
All in all I liked this book and it's pacing. I hope there is another in this series. I would recommend.
Baby Beau had made an amazing life for himself at such a young age and was so mature. Illianna was set in her life with her careers and having her son away at college she was comfortable in life. She had been in two long term relationships that didn’t work out so she just wanted something casual. Her mindset had already told her that Beau was too young for her even though he was super attractive. Not going to lie she was getting on my nerves so bad and I boo was laughing at her when Nasir turned out to be trash and he was older than her. I wasn’t mad at Beau when he was over Illianna mind games but he couldn’t shake her if he wanted to. I’m happy for them and how everything worked because sometimes other peoples opinions don’t matter as long as you’re happy. Great read 💙
Beau is millionaire gamer. He had his pick of women. Sophie is crazy, she thought she come back into Beau's life and pick up like she never left. Illianna is a teacher and realtor and has a nineteen old in college. She is worried about what he thought and would say. Who wasn't trying to give Beau the time of day because of his age. Nasir is a classic f boy. Who was jealous of Beau and didn't even know him. Illianna biggest problem is the age difference. They both have relatives with problems. She was getting baby fever when she saw him holding August baby, who was she to deny him so it would happen when it happen. She was kind of shook when it happen with twins though. He proposed then her water broke.
I loved everything about The Millionaire Boys Club: Beau by Natisha Raynor. The age gap trope in Beau is everythingggg. The story is engaging and well written with a clear plot that's easy to follow and grips you. I had so much fun listening to the audiobook, too. I think the narrators did a really good job. I highly recommend the The Millionaire Boys Club series.
Spice rating: 3/5 (There aren't many spicy scenes, but the ones Raynor does write are well-written, descriptive, and spicy enough!)
Content warnings: Graphic: Sexual content Moderate: Addiction, Cursing, Gun violence, Toxic relationship, and Pregnancy Minor: Child abuse, Infidelity, Physical abuse, Blood, Kidnapping, Abortion, Abandonment, and Injury/Injury detail
Beau had his life together! He monetized his hobby and love for gaming. Then flipped it to multiple streams of income. He sees and pursues Illianna not caring that she has an issue with his age…because that ain’t nothing but a number. His mind, pockets and D is grown! Before she knows it she finds out that Beau is a man…not a son!
Illianna was on my nerves, worried about the wrong thing and settling for less when she knew she wanted him bad! I enjoyed the persist of Beau. I quickly got over Illianna's denial. The spin on the audacity and jealousy of family was real. The reality check that she had to cash was a great twist.
This was a good story, good heat. It needs some editing, quite a few mistakes.
“The Millionaires Boys Club: Beau - Book 2” was a another disappointment. This series consistently presented little boys clueless about how to pursue a woman beyond their own selfish desires! Beau his ego, the temper tantrums, the excessive recreational substance usage and his juvenile insecurities are insufferable 🥴‼️Please, invest ten or twenty percent of your of your millions buy a clue about women. More so, ask your mama what characteristics a mature woman expects from a perspective mate. ..and though money even millions can afford some luxuries (in life), that money won’t purchase contentment, devotion, peace, faithfulness, friendship, respect & love!
Beau was a young multimillionaire. He wanted for nothing in life, but Illiana swooped in and had him simping. She may have been older by 10 years, but this man showed and prove at every turn that age wasn't a factor. Yet and still Illiana continued her age issues throughout too much of the book. Yes she was older, yes she had a son in college, but her previous relationships and her lil sliding with Nasir proved men of all ages were capable of anything. Beau made this 3 stars! He was definitely a man about his business, but I'm glad that Illiana finally let her guard down and got with the program. Happy Reading Y'all.💋
I love me a good age gap romance story, specifically when the female character is the eldest. Iliana irked my nerves a lot as she kept giving my man Beau a hard time. Beau fell for Iliana really fast, and although younger knew what he wanted, and was confident and didn’t care about what others thought. Illiana on the other hand, was insecure about her age and didn’t want to give him a chance but once she put her feelings first, went al in with fine a$$ Beau. Loved this story.
Age ain't nothing but a number! Love is a beautiful thing with the right person. Families are the foundation, good, bad, or indifferent, and both L and Beau had family members that had some issues. I hope to see more of Beau and L because they were the true definition in spite of your age. Maturity comes in differently regardless of that Saud number. You can't be concerned about what others will think, be secure in who you are, and L had finally caught on. Besides, Beau wasn't no slouch!
Absolutely loved this series. It's true when they say age is nothing but a number because you can't help who your heart loves or how fate brings you together, no matter how much L tried to fight what she was feeling the heart and body wanted what it wanted. Beau may have been young but he was all grown man and proved that over and over but when he was tired of playing the games with L he gave her no room to hesitate or change her mind, love them together. Now we just need Dr. Killian millionaire story.
Beau was a young millionaire that knew exactly what he wanted. The first time he laid eyes on Illianna, he knew he wanted her! She had many reservations about the age difference, but they dated. Their relationship went through several trials, but neither wanted to be without the other. After seeing that Beau was an amazing man that was very mature, Illianna let things flow. Beau managed to get passed all of her past reservations about life. They ended up happy, in love, expecting new babies, and engaged. This was an awesome read!
Beau Austin is a young, rich gamer living his best life—newly single and not stressing it. When he spots Illianna, he’s all in… until she shuts him down because he’s a whole decade younger.
Illianna’s divorced, her kid’s in college, and she’s just out here enjoying life—with no plans to date anyone that young. But Beau’s not backing down without a fight.
It’s a fun, flirty age-gap romance with great chemistry and just the right amount of tension. You’ll be rooting for Beau the whole way!
I definitely enjoyed learning more from this community. That’s been created by the offer. I will say that the repetition that occurred in this particular story was a bit distracting. Although age difference was a point of contention in the relationship, the reminders on what seem to be every other page was distracting. That being said in this addition, just like in the previous one of the series, the male characters were likable and the female counterpart was not at least for me. all that aside I am very, very much looking forward to the next millionaires boys club
Natisha Raynor, Beau was the best. He carried himself better than some guys twice his age. Illianna was a good woman who had her trust and heart broken,. It's so funny, sometimes we miss our happiness because of what others may feel. I'm so glad Beau stood his ground but still stayed true to himself. I pray India continues her journey on the right path. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I really enjoyed this series. I think book three was my favorite, but this one was a close second. I loved how persistent Beau was. I’ve never really considered dating a younger man, but this book definitely has me rethinking that lol. I flew through it, and the audio narration was great. It touches on some triggering yet relatable elements, but overall, I really enjoyed the story. I plan to read more from this author.
The relationship does not give solid foundation but just momentarily.
The fact that he’s a gamer/ streamer and battling the ‘too young’ ’too immature’ stereotype had me struggling to take the relationship seriously as well when the FMC had a college aged son and almost 40.
The in between situationships isn’t my thing, the constant reference to the riches of the MMC is also annoying, and the ending was way too abrupt. 3.25⭐️
Well, I usually don’t read age difference books but because I liked Koda a lot I thought I’d give this one a try. And it didn’t disappoint. Beau was more mature than any man I had come across. He treated his “cougar” like the beautiful woman she was. The entire book was well worth reading.
What happens when a young man falls for a woman ten years older than him? Well in this well book, Natisha Raynor takes us on the roller coaster ride between Beau and Illiana. She was determined to not fall for the young, millionaire gamer and he was determined to make her his. In the end, he got the lady, the babies and the wife. Very good book.
Age don't make the man and L discovers that with Beau. He more than show how good he is for her. I'm glad that she finally got some act right before she missed out on her good thing. For me, the moral of this story is to not let your past keep you from your blessing now.
Beautiful love story. Beau was on his grown man through this whole book. I’m so happy that they tricked Illianna, because she would’ve missed out on special type of love, because of what other people thought.
Nasir got on my nerves with his faking and shaking self. India & Dru were doing too much. Great job, I highly recommend the series.
Enjoyed the story even though sometimes I was feeling so kind of way against Illianna and the way she was treating Beau. I am glad she finally gave him a chance to love her and she him. This was a good listen. Narrators were good and I will recommend the series in order. Love the flow of the main men characters.
We can say what we don’t want or what we’re not looking for and God will have a sense of humor we will have to get accustomed to for the laughter from above. Love knows no numeral value just what the heart desires and process.
