Diving into "Noetic Marj Odyssey: A Novella Trilogy in One Book" by Inga M. Nelson was an exhilarating experience. The story follows Marjorie Glass, a seventeen-year-old with a remarkable gift that puts her in grave danger.

The plot is set in a dystopian 2039, where global warming and crime have reshaped society. After an accident at eleven, Marj discovered she could communicate with her deceased great-great-grandfather, a war hero and ace pilot. This unique ability attracts the attention of a sinister organization that will stop at nothing to exploit her.

Marj's journey is thrilling and packed with action. Her dream of becoming a pilot and venturing to Mars is constantly thwarted by the nefarious super-soldier program. Despite the peril, Marj's resilience and resourcefulness shine through as she navigates a world filled with emerging technology and spooky science.

The narrative is an amazing blend of sci-fi and adventure. The trilogy kept me on the edge of my seat, rooting for Marj. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good futuristic adventure with a strong, capable heroine.

There are some very cool ideas here but the 3 novellas don't tie to each other very well and the author is very Tell, Don't Show, which I found made it difficult to be immersed or care a lot about the characters. But there are cool ideas here that just need some polish
