Trust & Tequila #3
Say You Will
Henry
Billionaire vigilantes can't afford feelings.
I have a business empire to run, criminals to keep the hell out of this city, and blood stains to scrub from my shirt cuffs. I’m also in desperate need of a wife.
With the clock ticking, a convenient marriage should be the perfect solution. Unfortunately, when I offer my childhood friend, Franki Lennox, a bribe to marry me, she threatens to stab me with a fork.
I have one month to make Franki mine. It can't be that difficult to woo a woman. Once I get a grip on all the inexplicable sweating and cardiac symptoms that plague me in her presence, I’ll have Franki picking out her own engagement ring in no time flat.
Franki
The gentle boy I loved is gone. Now, he’s a man with scars on his knuckles and ice in his veins.
Henry can shove his offensive marriage proposal up his asinine ego. As we work together on his newest business venture, however, a different Henry emerges. One who is kind. Thoughtful. Seductive as the devil.
He tells me to trust him. But when chaos descends, it’s clear nothing has been quite what it seems. His legacy and my heart hang in the balance. Henry McRae may be no stranger to peril, but this time he’s fighting for his wife.
Say You Will is a standalone in the Trust & Tequila world. However, it does contain some spoilers for the previous book, I Always Did. This book contains adult themes which may be disturbing to some readers.

Great Read!
4.75⭐️ Henry is neurodivergent, morally grey and a golden retriever when it comes to the woman he’s loved since childhood. Franki has RA, crappy parents and a hard time believing Henry wants her exactly as she is. If you like imperfect characters who are perfect for each other, this is the book for you.

Starting back 15 years ago, Henry finds Franki in his room. She's laying on the floor, processing her hurt heart instead of watching movies with the rest of the girls at a sleepover. An informative conversation later, and both not only feel better but their lives are forever changed.
Now, 15 years later, Henry is doing dangerous things to keep people safe. His grandmother is demanding he marry in order to get her business, and he has his sights set on Franki. He tries to talk her into marrying him as a business transaction at first. She turns him down. He needs to marry within 3 weeks. He wants to marry Franki, and no one else will do. He loves her, has waited for her, and won't accept anyone other than her. But he also wants the company his grandmother is keeping from him. How can he explain to her that his feelings are real when he doesn't understand them fully himself? And when danger strikes, will it even matter? He would burn the world for her, but will she let him?
If you've read Book 2, this picks up during that book. It's during the timeline of Bronwyn recovering from almost death and before her and Dean work out their issues. Each book could, theoretically, be read as standalones. However, I suggest reading them all and in order. Bring tissues and don't start them late at night. These are not books to rush through. I'm really hoping Gabriel gets his own book and is able to work through his issues.

Thank you so much to the author for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Where to even begin??? Disabled FMC, neurodivergent MMC, rich vigilante family, best friend's brother, only one bed in a cabin in the woods 😍🥵
Okay, now that I've pulled you in with all my trigger words, let's talk about the main characters. Franki is a strong and independent woman (or trying very very hard to become one, anyway) who battles her rheumatoid arthritis on a daily basis. But damn if she won't let anyone treat her differently because of it, and she refuses to be used for other people's gain anymore. She's living her life for herself finally and she's killing it.
Enter Henry, the best friends brother and childhood crush. Autistic, billionaire, and into some shady, less-than-legal vigilante shit, but who has always had a soft spot for Franki since the day they met as kids. Henry needs a wife due to an ultimatum from his matriarch of a grandmother and only one person will work for that role: Franki.
God, these two.....every single time a new release in this series comes out, it's my new favorite couple. And this is no different. They both accept each other fully for who they are, support each other unequivocally, and manage to talk through misunderstandings in a way that manages to circumvent the dreaded miscommunication trope beautifully. Henry and Franki are seriously couple goals. And the steam?!? 🔥🔥🔥 could set a room on fire 🥵.
Obviously I'm reading whatever she writes next. And the next couple, following the trend, is likely going to be my new favorite 😂 in the meantime though, I'll just keep re-reading Franki and Henry and loving their love.

I was able to receive and ARC of this book and had such a fun time with this one! Say You Will is book is three in the series and my favorite of the bunch so far. This book brought me out of a deep reading slump. The swoon and banter are off the charts.
Henry and Franki’s relationship is adorable and sweet and wholesome. They met as children and reconnect after a few years apart during college for reasons. Personally I’m a sucker for a romance where the MCs have known each other since they were kids, gives a fated mates feel in a contemporary romance.
If you think smart is sexy and nerdy-chic is your thing then Henry is your new book boyfriend. Smart, strong, determined, kind, caring, and eager to learn (😏 iykyk). Henry knows what he wants, which is Franki, and nothing will stop him from getting her. Franki doesn’t let Henry get away with anything and will call him out fast. Henry has autism and you can tell the author took care to try to write that part of him.
Franki is probably the most relatable FMC I’ve ever read. I’ve had some of her same thoughts and said some of her same phrases. Franki has a physical disability that it is a part of her and is written in such a way that it is not a flaw of hers to overcome. I think importantly too Henry doesn’t infantilize her because of it either.
Overall if you want a romance book that’s low angst (at least between the MCs, the FMCs parents are the worst), low to mid spice depending on your definition, with a shot of action adventure thrown in then this is for you!

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you may want to throw your kindle at the wall (get a good case to read this book), but you’ll leave wishing this book never ended and wanting to re-read it immediately.
This book is actual magic with a side of neurodivergence and a whole lot of pining.
From their introductions as characters in earlier books, I’ve always thought there was more to meet the eye for both Franki and Henry. And oh boy, was I right.
The way Evangeline weaves stories together is incredible. This one happens almost simultaneously with the second half of her second book, and seeing those scenarios from other perspectives had me wheezing laughing.
The characters? Absolutely in love with them. From Henry’s lists, to Franki’s sass — there couldn’t be a funnier match. Their mutual devotion and the way they overcome challenges together left me choked up.
They say to be seen is to be loved, and holy shit did Henry see everything magical about Franki from the second they met. While it’s unlikely to have to marry someone to access your company shares and your childhood crush happens to walk into the room, the actual relationships Evangeline writes are so very real.

This book took me a little longer to get through (no fault of the books just had a busier few days with less time for reading) but it was amazing!
i absolutely love Franki and Henry, and seeing a new side to Henry we dont get to see in the other books.
As an autistic person myself, finding good autism representation in books is few and far between, but I absolutely loved the way it was represented with Henry. I loved how Franki supported him with it too and never made him feel like a burden if he needed things explaining, even if it was how certain things he said upset her.
And Franki. I love the disability representation in this book! And again the way Henry supports her and never let's her put herself down about it whether its needing him to walk a little slower to match her pace or when she uses mobility aids like her cane. I love them both so much!
I also loved seeing Franki work through the toxic relationships she had with her parents, and eventually standing up for herself without anyone's help. In most books its just the mmc disks the fmc away from the toxicity and its never seen again, but in this book Franki dealt with it herself and I love that!
Id highly recommend this book and series!

💭𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗰𝗥𝗮𝗲, my new book crush! The way he is portrayed in this story is fascinating. He's neurodivergent, his love may come across as somewhat clinical, yet it is genuine, untainted, and sincere. He is a flawed character, much like a superhero with slightly questionable morals, but his actions to protect his loved ones make him so endearing to me!
𝗙𝗼𝗿 years, Henry has been waiting for Franchessca, known as Franki. They formed a strong bond as children, but Franki struggled with a chronic illness and selfish parents. However, the McRae family welcomes her with open arms, and she gradually begins to see herself as part of their family, thanks in part to her friendship with Bronwyn. As she learns to stand up for herself, she finds herself falling for Henry.
"𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹" has become my favorite story in the series. The audiobook is beautifully narrated by 𝗔𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄 and 𝗖𝗝 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺, who have done an amazing job with the previous books as well. I have no notes – this book was perfect!

I really enjoyed this book, I enjoyed reading about henry and franki. They caught my interest the moment we saw them together in the 2nd book.
I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this book. Everything in it was perfect and angsty. I loved the communication between the two characters they were so well spoken and had such amazing communication skills. even if they HAD to.
It just made everything feel so much more intimate and connected.
I love the addition of making it a little hard for henry to pick up on social or emotional cues. like why what he did he hurt someone and them having to explain it.
I loved seeming a character with autism get the representation they deserve.
Everything about Henry was so well written and Henry was so 😻 i love him.
I loved how the dad kinda knocked some sense into him by telling him the reason she checked all his boxes was because his requirements were made in the likeness of HER. LIKE SHUT UP RN
Note: Henry fist bumping the air after their first time together was so funny and cute i loved that.

I don't normally recommend books because I know I have oddball tastes. But this book is 100% worth it.
Dual virgins (with legit reasons that gave it heart)
Neurodivergent Mmc who didn't hide behind his autism as an excuse to be a dick but genuinely want fmc to know in case he made hurtful mistakes that she needed to point out
Disability rep for arthritis in fmc with actual research done. The narcissistic parents was a little OTT after everything else this girl had to go through but I let it slide because the Mmc loved her so damn well. Honestly, his list for qualifications for his wife was the sweetest thing ever.

I love this so, so much. Romance? Top tier. Feels? HECK YEAH. The characters??? I love them more than I can describe. (I also want to bundle them in a million blankets)
Also as someone who has both physical disabilities and autism, the portrayals of Franki and Henry just… they’re perfect. Seeing representation like this, so well done, in a romance? It makes me want to cry in the best way possible. This is probably my new favorite romance ever.

I'm going to give this 3.5 starts because it was original enough that I didn't feel bored or that I was going to be able to predict everything that happened. I genuinely enjoyed the characters and the romance. I would also be willing to look into other books by this author because the writing was so well done.

My absolute favorite book of the Trust and Tequila series. It was great having main characters that were outside the norm. I feel like it really made me latch onto them. While Henry and Franki each had their individual struggles, they still were amazing together. The suspense did keep me guessing right up to the end though. I would 100% read this book again.

This is the third book in the Trust and Tequila series. It a very enjoyable friends-to-lovers, marriage of convenience romance. I loved Harry and Franki’s banter. The story is very emotional and so well written. A very good read.

Pretty rubbish - boring and insipid. For an autistic man/ disabled girl combo that could have maybe gone somewhere if the storytelling was good, they both were entirely dull to read about. Cannot recommend

Henry and Franki's story exceeds all expectations. The writer captured the essence of people dealing with special issues while following their hearts through an action-packed journey. She shared Henry's autism with the world in a kind yet meaningful way, taking the time to explain what other people think autistic people are like versus reality.
Add in some sweet love, great sex scenes, and tons of action and drama, and this is one of my top five reads ever!

A surprisingly delightful read. The characters were well developed and very realistic. It had humor, angst, and suspense. I really enjoyed this.

henry’s atributes list for his wife basically being franki’s description was so cute!! he’s so in love with her 😣

I really enjoyed the book. It is nice to have characters that do not have perfect lives. Characters that have chronic illness and characters that live on the spectrum.

I'd really give this a 3.5-star. Good story...solid characters...some points just dragged on too long. Overall, though, worth the read. I recommend.

This is the third book in the series and I must say it's my favorite! Franki and Henry are by far the most enjoyable characters! Thank you!!!

I absolutely loved this book! The entire series was freakin' cute from start to finish! Every moment was full of charm, and I couldn't get enough of the characters. It was the perfect blend of heartwarming and entertaining, with just the right amount of sweetness. I honestly couldn't stop smiling while reading it

Once again, Evangeline Williams knocks it out of the park with an unexpected but perfect pairing.
This book has everything I look for in a romance.
Tropes: Friends-to-lovers, proposed marriage of convenience.
Read this and be prepared to feel every emotion you have turned up to 11.
There are a lot of dark themes and traumas on display and a weaker author could have used these as a crutch. Instead the hero's neurodivergence and the heroine's physical disability are enhancements to an already powerful friends-to-lovers journey.
There is heavy overlap with Trust and Tequila book 2 and it could have been a disaster, instead all of the repeated scenes feel completely new with the new perspective of a different character. I felt Henry's heart clench when he realized his sister didn't feel like one of the family. It was perfect.
Easily a five star read and I can't wait for more.
