Really incredible book with gorgeous photography. So many beautiful buildings, great examples of Art Deco architecture. My major complaint is several times the little blurb mentioned a part of the building (cool stained glass windows or majestic entrance lobbies for example), but then DOESN’T SHOW PICTURES OF IT! Why you gotta bring it up if you’re not gonna show meeeeee!!?? My minor complaint is that most of the stories lean way too far into the rich men who commissioned the buildings and not enough into the cool design features or actual architects.

Astonishing, breathtaking, magnificent photographs. Exceeded my expectations.

(My only quibble is that outside of the photos, the book design could’ve been more refined.)
