delightful read

I was a little underwhelmed by the original tale of Alladin. It's not underwhelming because it's different from the famous Disney movie (which it vastly is) but just because it's really not all that interesting. The Disney telling really jazzes this story up. As it is, it's just a fine but forgettable fairytale.
