Sweet romance
The book was a sweet story about a second chance at love for a widow who had no idea about her husband’s business adventures or his partners. It is laced with some frightening moments.

Such a good story
This is a new author for me and one I will continue reading. Her books are full of twists and turns and love. Olivia and her kids need a new start, so she bids on a house on the beach., and wins it. This starts a journey of discovery for Olivia in a new town. Here she meets Patrick and she loves her new home, even though it needs major work. As time passes, Olivia realizes her house is haunted and that there is a mystery surrounding her dead husband, Joe, Patrick, and Patrick's sister, Paige. As Olivia learns more about the mystery surrounding her and the others, the more she realizes she never really knew her husband. Before she can uncover the mystery her house burns, she's kidnapped, Patrick pulls back and answers are finally found. Can Olivia come to terms with everything and follow her heart to Patrick?

I Love this Series!!
Anyone who enjoys a wonderful love story should take the time to read this series. It has mystery in this series as well as love between friends. I like the inclusion of the blended family and the children who one day will call Patrick "Dad" and have a new "Mom"!! Thank you Ms. Summers for sharing your talent with us, the readers!! 💞

Happiness on Pebbles Beach
This set of books was a great read. It was about a partnership of 2 guys doing business. Then one died, and his wife sold their house and moved to Pebble Beach. Melt his co partnership and had a hard go at all of the things that went on but fell in love and gor married. It was a wonderful story that was hard to put down.

At once overwhelming and simplistic
I did finish the book. The twists and turns happened too fast, there were too many. It was as if the author wanted to squeeze every plot twist possible into this "series" of books. Overall, the ideas were okay. But it could have been so much better thought out and written.

Olivia Joe and Patrick
I read.a.lot of stories and none affected me more than Patrick and Olivia how both of them knew how they felt and kept secrets afraid to talk. Regrets and lies are so effective in making a good friendship turn sour. They worked through it but it was a long process.

Surprises throughout!
This book is filled with emotions. One minute you are sad then excited them scared then happy an emotional roller coaster that keeps a you glued to the book wondering what's next. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 😊

3.75 🌟 Good series. Some parts moved through very quick and could have been more thought out. Although, I do believe that was the nature of this series. Each book is only 6 chapters, so the whole thing took just a morning to read.

Dropped some plot lines.
The story was complex enough to hold my interest but was disappointing that it did not address the hidden gems in the burnt haunted house.

Not worth reading
Very repetitive and very little character development. Far fetched plot line that I did not enjoy. Would not recommend reading.
