Fascinated by ghost stories and crime fiction, I have been writing both for well over two decades, drawing on more than fifteen years in a career in a criminal justice setting. A great series

I’ve read every book in this series and feel this is one of the scariest! Sully and Dez feel like family and you can’t help but feel for them when they get tied up in ghostly situations. I’ve loved every one of the books H.P. Bayne has written. She’s a master storyteller.

Laugh and Cry

Started slow, but as in other books in the series, everything went off the scales and I laughed, cried, held my breath and relieved. I wish Mallory was included more, but understandable why she wasn't. Great read!

This story gripped me from the first page. A couple bring in a dollhouse to the pawnshop and psychometrist, Wray Mallory gets a bad feeling from it. She recommend Sully and Dez to the couple to help them explain what is haunting them. I love how each Sully and Dez investigations are always different and mind blowing. I enjoy getting engrossed, never knowing where the case may lead. I would recommend anything this author writes. You will never be disappointed. I received an advance copy of this book via the author and this is my honest review.

Fantastic

A really good read, these books are fantastic. I love Sully. I like how Dez looks after him too. It was good to see Mallory in the book too. I did feel sorry for Sully at one point but also happy when he was talking with Rachael near the end of the book. Well worth five stars.

This is a great storyand a continuation of the series involving Dex and Sully.
A rough one this time with so many people/ghost in the mix. Alot going on to try figuring out the cause behind things, so a completion for those involved can happen.

Really exciting RIGHT TILL THE END!

This was another great adventure wirh my boys Sully and Dez! I can't believe how these characters have evolved and just become my old friends! I love knowing the back history on each and every beloved character. Even Dax! His presence in the story reminds you of Sullys days out in the elements. And how Kaleigh is a teenager now! It's fun to share all of life's highs and lows with the Gray/Braddocks. I never tire of these books. The Author never needs to worry about we fans getting tired of these stories.
As for this story, it was especially heart pounding because of the threat to this young family. The freaky dollhouse gave me the shivers! Very creepy !! The energy in the house was very dark and rooted in a horrendous murder. Really a crime unlike anything the author has written so far. I was in tears at certain points because, even though fiction, the same elements of emotion are 100 percent relevant to real life. Love and heartstrings transcend time. Anger. Feelings of Revenge and frustration over injustice are also the same no matter the realm. What I love about the H.P. Bayne books are that she writes these stories with respect, she respects her readers and is respectful and true to the characters . They are written as if real people. Not just flat characters to sell a book. For example, I love that Sully has a fiance that is fiesta and tough! He would not have chosen a shrinking little barbie doll. She would have to be able to go toe to toe with him! Very believable and true to Sully. I hope there are many more books to come! Hugs! Thanks again H.P. Bayne! I pre-ordered the next one already!!

Another fantastically intense case for Sully and Dez. Hard because it involved children…both living and dead. I feel that the retribution dealt upon the Durlow brothers was fair. I love what Sully is able to do. I know it is terrifying most of the time but then there are also things like reuniting Olivia with her mom. That is something special. I love these stories so much and this one was just awesome!

A chilling start to this magnificent story. It is a fast paced and action packed read. Sully and Dez are called in by Wray to help a family that came in the pawn shop to get rid of a dollhouse. After she touches it she perceives that there is evil attached to it. The guys arrive and face the strongest ghosts then ever before. Can they overcome the ghosts and send them on their way?

Another outstanding story, a lot less peril overall in this one, a jolly good ghost tale and some more psychic people to join the cast. I really enjoyed this. Dez and Sully are such a good team and their families help and support them so they can help and support others. I love the stories and I am cut up that there is only one more to go. Will have to start the Wray stories next.

GREAT BOOK!

I love this series! A family inherits a house with a particularly nasty presence. As Sully and Dez dig into the past to help the family, some very disturbing details arise. Sully realizes this will not be an easy task. I can’t wait for the next book!

H.P. Bayne has written another absolutely perfect Braddock & Gray Case Files book. After reading all of the Sullivan Gray Series, the Wray Mallory books, and 16 Braddock & Gray books, you’d think there couldn’t be a new “ghost story,” or that Sully would run out of talents. But this book is another pleasant surprise. I very highly recommend this book. There is a mystery; a big murder mystery to be solved in order to help the Durlow family. And, Sully and Dez have to handle the husband and wife with sensitivity. Mr. Durlow has inherited a haunted house, but his wife is a hardened skeptic. If you bite your nails, get ready to have sore fingers.
