Death by a thousand paper cuts. That’s what it feels like whenever we’re in the same room and I can only watch her from afar, not touch or kiss her the way I desperately want to. I am not this kind of man. I am not someone who follows a young woman everywhere or lets myself into her place when she’s at work. Worse, I’ve been reduced to an underwear thief, and I don’t know if I’m proud of the growing collection of lace panties I have at home. A few months ago, the rich, powerful, and famous hired me to make sure stalkers didn’t even make it past the gate. Funny how things have turned out. I’m well aware that this obsession is not healthy. I’m toeing the line between sane and deranged, and I’m dangerously close to gravitating towards the latter. While I force myself to be content just staying at a safe distance, the moment she locks her gaze with me, a terrifying but exciting thought begins to tickle my brain. What if…? What if I actually have a shot with her? Just one. I just need one. And I swear to God, I’ll make sure she knows I’m grateful for the chance. I’ll prove it to her over and over again. Because falling for Katherine is like drowning in horrifying, unimaginable depths … just one I never want to surface from.
It was fine, honestly. The girl accepted the stalking so breezily. No drama on her part. The guy is excellently unhinged. The girl, now, she's the part I didn't quite enjoy. Too plain for me.
So I am reading a lot.of shorts and novellas I like to do this to get out of reading slumps and try out new authors. I like this author. Her shorts are entertaining. This one was going to get a full 4 stars but it gets 3.5 because of the use of "my steel rod" and "my staff" granted Lena Little writes so many shorts it must be tedious having to just write cock all the time. But what about one eyed trouser trout? I guess anything is better than "manhood"
The plot was too rushed. I didn’t understand why h just accepted everything so quickly. It was a truly unbelievable story and not in a good way. I’m disappointed to say the least…
This was very average but a quick, entertaining read. A palette cleanser if you will. The story isn't the best but there were at least sexy and unexpected comedic moments at least. At this point, I may end up reading novellas for most of 2024 because anything longer than that, I just don't have the bandwidth these days.
Quick insta-obsessed stalker story. Mediocre at best.
I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I just don’t think we get enough info about them to really care about them.
Katherine, the FMC, has a terrible relationship with her manipulative parents and she doesn’t seem to have any genuine friends. I’m never quite sure why that is or what is the root cause for her parents’ behavior but I guess the story is so short we aren’t supposed to care.
I also can’t help but wonder about these over-the-top possessive guys who go around punching people and breaking fingers just for coming near their girl. How is it that they never get in trouble? You think they’d behave better so they aren’t at risk of leaving their girl unprotected while they goto jail. Eh, whatever. Basically forgettable anyways.
Kieran is the owner of a security company that protects the rich and famous. On one job he spots Katherine and becomes instantly obsessed with the shy introverted woman. He begins to stalk her and keeps her safe. One day he has to intervene when a guy gets grabby and that is the beginning of their Lovestory. Kate falls hard and fast for him and she kind of loves that he is so obsessed with her. Instalove, seven year age gap, steamy, sweet, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA😍😍😍😍 and a bit of family drama😉
This short love story has all the emotions you could ever want. Kieran is a strong, driven, determined, nonsense man. I loved how he loves fiercely and unapologetically. Katherine's character knows how she is viewed but us unsure how to respond. I like her aha moments when she realizes she is her own person. With Kieran she embraced her worth and strength. This book is another winner by Kenya Little!!! Enjoy, I did😉!
Security is his job, protecting her becomes his life
While on a job, Kieron sees Katherine and becomes obsessed. He stalks her, until one day he has to step in to help protect her. Katherine isn't protected by those who should protect her, but she loves the feeling of his eyes on her, and lets him show her how much he loves her.
Wasn't sure I'd like the book, but ended up enjoying it. He would do anything for her and wasn't afraid to. And she was the one her family ignored. and treated badly. They fit together so well. And it didn't take her long to figure out he truly loved her.
Kieran can't seem to help himself when it comes to Katherine. He always wants to be near her and he definitely makes sure to get rid of the competition. Will Katherine want anything to do with him if she finds out he's been stalking her?
I was reading and saying to myself that Katherine really needs a full time bodyguard. It was funny how she can't even see the dangers around her, especially her parents. I loved that Kieran took care of her in his stalking ways.
This was really good it was different from most stalker books that I read this was not really dark romance I would say more of like a light and fluffy and short so it doesn't expand a lot but the scenes are really good
I really enjoyed reading this story. He definitely lived up to the title. It was sweet, he was scary when he needed to be to protect her. Loved the extended epilogue!
Damn, I thought all the others were great but this one beat them. Hot! Hot! Hot! Like I keep saying, keep writing em’ and I’ll keep reading ‘em. Thanks.
