"But that's how life goes, doesn't it? We have to keep moving forward."

Tristan was the CEO of Kinson's Paradise, his dad's company in New York and Aurora had a rented flower shop in the two-story building in Willowwreek, where her mother worked and died because it caught fire. 🔥🏢

Tristan's girlfriend, Amelia died, as said in the news, because of a car accident, on the same day as Aurora's mother. 😰
Was it just a coincidence or were they linked in ways they can't even think?

Evan, Tristan's best friend and manager saw his dead girlfriend and being his best friend, he immediately called him and told about the same. But when Tristan met her, he got to know she wasn't her, OBVIOUSLY🤐

Evan, Tristan and Amelia were childhood besties so how could they have mistaken Amelia for someone else? Or was there a completely different story? 🤐
READ TO FIND OUT 🔥🎇

The character development, plot twists, story line, everything was just amazing 💛I was SHOCKED to see how it took turns as the story reached its end🫨totally unexpected 🫨. The wave of emotions when I was reading this; the happiness, the sadness, hope, love everything was felt with such a great extent 🩷. I could feel a deep connection with the characters 🫶.
The book tells about how life is full of uncertainties and how unimaginable things happen and impacts our life for the better🩵. We must think wisely before trusting anyone as we can't even think of how the people we trust the most turn their backs to us 🫨. If we don't give up on love, it'll find a way back to us in uncountable ways. 🩵

🩷 Ofc, we all need a Tristan in our lives, who doesn't give up on us no matter what happens🩷

As a romance lover, totally loved it, def recommended 🌻.

It's my first indian author's novel that I didn't find with messy writing skills and a lot of exclamation marks without any reason so 1 star goes for that , and then other 2 stars are for the story, well it wasn't predictable buti liked it. Evan was a bit arrogant in the start but he became a cutie as the story progressed..Also it had some loose ends to it that I think could have been explained in detail but nevermind ,it's okay.. overall it was an okay-ish read🫶🏻

Book Name:- My Tristan
Author:- Jaishree Manghnani

My Tristan is an intense romantic drama that revolves around love, loss, secrets, and second chances. The story follows Aurora, a florist trying to build a peaceful life around her small flower shop, and Tristan, a wealthy businessman burdened by his past. What begins as an unexpected meeting slowly unfolds into a passionate and complicated relationship layered with misunderstandings, hidden truths, and emotional confrontations.

One of the strongest aspects of this book is its dramatic appeal. The author does not hold back when it comes to delivering high emotions. From near-death incidents and kidnapping attempts to shocking family revelations and grand romantic gestures, the narrative constantly keeps moving. Readers who enjoy fast-paced romance with cinematic moments will likely find this book engaging. The anniversary trip, the dreamy proposal setup, and the protective nature of Tristan add a larger-than-life charm to the story.

Tristan’s character stands out because of his dual personality, strong and dominant on the outside, yet emotionally vulnerable when it comes to love. His protectiveness toward Aurora is portrayed consistently throughout the novel. Aurora, on the other hand, is shown as sensitive yet resilient. She has endured loss, betrayal, and confusion about her identity, but she continues to move forward. Their chemistry is intense and forms the emotional backbone of the book.

The revelation and the hidden family secrets introduce an element of suspense that elevates the plot beyond a simple romance. The identity twist involving Amelia and Aurora adds intrigue and emotional conflict. These plot points give the story depth and make it more dramatic.

However, while the book is engaging, I personally felt that certain emotional moments could have been explored with more subtlety. At times, conflicts arise and resolve very quickly, which slightly reduces their emotional impact. A few misunderstandings between the main characters feel repetitive, and I wished for more mature communication in those moments. Some twists are predictable, especially once hints about the resemblance between Aurora and Amelia are introduced.

Additionally, the story leans heavily on grand gestures and physical chemistry. While this adds passion, I would have appreciated deeper internal reflections and slower emotional build-up in certain sections. Side characters like Daisy and Evan play important roles in the plot, but their development could have been more layered and nuanced.

The ending is heartwarming and provides closure, tying up most loose ends in a satisfying way. It feels hopeful and celebratory, giving readers the happily-ever-after they expect from a romance novel.

Overall, this book is an entertaining and emotionally charged read. It delivers drama, passion, and surprises in abundance. Though it may not feel groundbreaking in terms of storytelling depth, it succeeds in offering an engaging romantic escape.

Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐✨
A dramatic and passionate love story with memorable moments, though it could have benefitted from deeper emotional exploration.

Loved this book alot! And look at the cover isn't it gorgeous? Well, when you'll read the book you'll find the inside story more beautiful as like the cover. 🧿✨
The book is all about a contemporary romance story of Aurora & Tristan with love, heartbreak and more. Tristan is a grumpy guy and a CEO of the Kinson company, he lost his beloved five yrs ago. Whereas Aurora is a sunshine like girl who lost her mother in a tragic accident five yrs back and she owns a flower shop.
Tristan wasn't interested in love & was heartbroken but Aurora wanted to be in love and when he meets her, he really tries not to fall in love with her as she brings back memories of his beloved. But we can't remove the plans of our destiny right? And like that, they couldn't stop themselves from falling in love when destiny tied them together. ♾️
One thing I really liked in the book is that they watched TVD together becoz she was a fan of it and he wasn't but for her he too watched it with her,😭🤌🏻the way he tells/shows her that he loves her was the best thing. (Gosh! I love him)😩
The book has a lot of twists and turns, you'll be so engrossed with the book that you'd forget that you are reading. It's a heartbreaking and a suspenseful one along with the roller coaster of all the Emotions. The more you'll guess the next plot, the more it'll prove you wrong. (the stories of five yrs back is unbelievable). The book also has a lot of spicy scenes,🤭so that you'd not get bored in the middle. (The boat scene was my fav one). 🙈
I really connected with Aurora as I found mine & her love life to be a bit same. And how can I forget about Aurora's bff Daisy (everyone deserves a friend like her).
There are so many lines/quotes that I loved it. I wasn't expecting the epilogue to turn this good, I was really emotional while reading it (I cried) 😭❤️(the book that makes you cry are the best).
I must recommend this book to everyone who loves a love story with a roller coaster of all the emotions. So: Go, Grab, & READ it! 😤🤌

Thank you 😊
Happy reading 📖

3.7 stars ,it was a good read for me.

The story dives into Aurora the Fmc who owns a flower shop in a small town with sunshiny bright character & the MMC Grumpy rich Tristan who visited that small town ,when his friend informs him,he saw his GF named Amelia.

But as soon as he saw her,he knew it was not her but he stayed back for some reasons & in uncertain circumstances they grew closer to each other.

I really enjoyed the story there was this scene where he ate the cookies she prepared it for him saying it’s really good, but when she reached home and tried it well it tasted shitty, that’s was so sweet.

Another fav scene was him watching vampire diaries after saying such shows are too much for him, that to everyday.

Another fav scene was how Tristan was so persistent about convincing Aurora when he knew he fucked up and wanted to make things right,he did not wanted to let her go so he did everything to get her back & then how she realised his love towards her was never fake.
While reading that phase of them ,I remembered one quote
“Sometimes love comes back, not to test you, but to heal what once broke”.

After some time you will know who was Amelia & what’s the relationship between Amelia & Aurora, the twists were unexpected the plot was not predictable.

After 70% of book the story got really interesting with intense twists, did not expect the backstabber would be that someone. This book taught me,The deepest cuts come from the people we trust.

The story was really good but the English in book was kinda off for me,I would have finished it in one sitting but it took me bit longer to complete it just because of that,This book need a good editor & it will do so much good.

Also Tristan POV was little less,I felt like in some scenes his pov was much needed but it was pushed.

First of all look at the cover😭🫶🏻
It is as beautiful as the story written inside it.
This is a poignant and beautifully written story about love, loss and Heartbreak✨

It centers on Aurora, a woman living in willowcreek who lost her mother in a tragic accident, owns a flower shop and yearns to be loved and to feel belonged to someone meets Tristan kinson, CEO of kinson paradise who is back in willowcreek for some business. Meeting Aurora brings back a lot of painful memories of his past, his heart shattered 5 years ago when he lost his girlfriend to a tragic accident and he is never been the same after that.
He is trying to resist this pull between Aurora and him but destiny have some other plans😭🫶🏻

This book is really a roller coaster of emotions, A well played and heartbreaking second chance romance with a pinch of suspense and A LOT OF SPICE!!!
The way they heal and compliment each other was so beautiful to read, Also did I mention she is a VAMPIRE DIARIES fan and him being grumpy and all still watches the whole show because she loves it🥹, He cooks for her, kind of a saviour whenever she is in trouble, also jealous of her female best friend 🤭😂

From start till the end it kept me on edge with all the suspense and what happened 5 years ago. That scene with kids giving her different flowers was just so cute😭😭😭(my favourite)
Watching Tristan go through all that pain after seeing Aurora was heartbreaking, that man haven’t slept properly from last 5 years🥲💔

My heart was filled with so much love while reading epilogue🥺🥺(iykyk)

My Tristan is both heartbreaking and heartwarming read.Give it a try if you want to read something filled with a wide range of emotions❤️‍🩹

**My Tristan by Jaishree Manghnani**

This book felt like a soft, emotional breeze with occasional strong gusts of drama. My Tristan is a romance rooted in grief, second chances, and the idea that love can echo through time, even when it hurts.

What I genuinely liked was the emotional intent behind the story. Aurora is a tender, lonely protagonist whose love for her mother, her flower shop, and her quiet resilience makes her easy to sympathize with. Tristan, on the other hand, carries heavy emotional baggage, and his grief is written with sincerity. The parallel between Aurora and Amelia adds an intriguing layer, and the small-town setting with beaches, bookstores, and flower shops creates a cozy, almost cinematic vibe. 🌸🌊

However, this book also struggled in places. The writing is very descriptive, sometimes to the point where scenes feel stretched longer than necessary. Certain dialogues come off a bit repetitive, and some emotional moments are told rather than shown, which slightly dulled their impact. I also wished the pacing was tighter, especially in the middle, where the story slowed down and tested my patience.

That said, if you enjoy:
✨ emotionally broken male leads
✨ soft, kind-hearted female protagonists
✨ second-chance, fate-driven romance
✨ small-town aesthetics with angst

this book will likely work for you.

Overall, My Tristan is not perfect, but it’s heartfelt. It feels like a story written straight from the author’s emotions, even if it needed more polish. A comforting read for romance lovers who enjoy angst, longing, and slow-burning feelings.

I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters.

It’s one of those rare soft romance books that makes you feel everything. The author beautifully explores themes of healing, love, and much more throughout the story. The story follows Aurora Zea, the owner of a flower shop named Love Blossoms and Tristan Kinson, an interesting character burdened by grief and questions from his past. Their worlds collide in a small-town setting, and the book slowly builds their connection in a calm, comforting way. The best part of this book is that the author doesn’t rush the story at any point. She gives readers enough time to read at their own pace and connect with the characters and their journey. Their contrasting personalities balance each other well and add depth to their relationship. The usage of rich and simple language makes it easy for all age groups to understand.

I absolutely loved the bond between her and Daisy, her childhood best friend who has always been like a sister to her. Even after Daisy moved to NYC for college, they managed to maintain their strong bond. The romance unfolds naturally, with moments of warmth, misunderstanding, and emotional tension. Flowers are my favourite and so is Aurora Zea. Overall, this debut novel by Jaishree Manghnani is a gentle and heartfelt read. It may follow a familiar romantic path, but the emotions feel genuine, and the characters make the journey worthwhile. If you enjoy light romance with emotional moments and a hopeful ending, this book is a pleasant choice.

Honestly, "My Tristan" by Jaishree Manghnani is a really promising contemporary romance novel that I have read for a long time. It leans heavily into emotional depth and the complexities of "soulmate" connections. The first few pages shifted from one story to another to build the plot, and as the story grew, the second love chance was swoon-worthy. That was a bold choice by Manghnani because usually, romance novels stick to a very linear meet-cute.

The way the first few pages shift from one story to another acts as a narrative puzzle. By the time the plot stabilises, I realised those shifts weren't just filler; they were laying the groundwork for the "second chance" arc. It makes the transition from the first love to the second chance feel more poignant because the reader has witnessed the growth (and the heartbreak) in between.

The story centres on a deep, often tumultuous connection between the protagonists (Aurora and Tristan), exploring the all-consuming nature of first loves and second chances. The plot follows familiar romance tropes with the brooding male lead and resilient heroine.

I loved how Manghnani focuses less on external drama and more on the internal emotional landscape of her characters. It's a character-driven story rather than a plot-driven one and i have thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you are into raw humour and intense relationship stories, MY TRISTAN is something you will definitely like - MY TRISTAN.

My Tristan is a character-driven romance that focuses heavily on emotional growth and inner conflict rather than fast-paced drama.
Tristan is written as someone deeply guarded and shaped by past experiences. He’s not instantly charming or easy to understand, and at times his reactions can feel frustratingbut they’re believable. The book doesn’t rush his emotional transformation, which I appreciated.
Aurora brings a calmer, more grounded presence to the story. She has her own emotional struggles, and I liked that she isn’t portrayed as someone whose only role is to heal the male lead. Their relationship develops slowly, through small moments and emotional honesty, which made it feel realistic.
The pacing can feel slow in parts, but it serves the emotional depth of the story. This isn’t a book about grand romantic gestures; it’s about learning to trust, confronting emotional baggage, and allowing yourself to feel again.
Overall, My Tristan is a thoughtful read for anyone who prefers emotion-focused romance with flawed, human characters rather than dramatic or fast-moving love stories.

My Tristan by Jayashree Manghnani

A soft romance and second-chance love story, My Tristan is a decent debut novel that’s easy to get into. At around 250 pages, the book moves at a fairly quick pace with short chapters that keep the reading flow smooth.

The writing is good and readable, with well-placed spice scenes that don’t feel forced. The romance follows a familiar arc — misunderstandings, a pre-climax breakup (as expected in most romance novels), and a patch-up by the climax — but the execution still keeps you engaged.

There’s a twist in the middle that adds interest, and a few scenes, especially the proposal, are genuinely sweet and memorable. Some moments feel a little jumpy due to subtle shifts between scenes and POV transitions, but it doesn’t take away much from the overall experience.

If you enjoy soft romances with second chances, emotional moments, and a comfortable pace, this book makes for a pleasant read.

Okay but listen, My Tristan by Jaishree Manghnani is giving spicy-read with feelings energy

Tristan is rich-rich (yes, billionaire romance alert ), grumpy, emotionally unavailable, and carrying grief like a second skin. Aurora? Pure sunshine, warmth, and quiet strength. Classic grumpy x sunshine, but done with heart.

Their dynamic? Chef’s kiss. She doesn’t “fix” him, she sits with him while he learns to heal, and that made it feel real. Also Tristan being lowkey protective boyfriend coded?? We love to see it.

Vibes-wise, if you enjoy Ana Huang–style romances, intense MMCs, emotional backstories, slow-burn tension, you’ll eat this up. And honestly, the mention of my favourite series The Vampire Diaries had me.

There’s romance, trauma, softness, and a lot of “maybe love can save me” moments.

If you like your love stories emotional, comforting, and slightly dramatic, this one’s for you

My Tristan had me completely invested. The way the story unfolds is gripping, with a build-up that’s both intense and emotional. I finished the book in 2 days proves how hard it was to put down.🥹

The story follows Aurora, a resilient florist who owns a flower shop.🌸 Her character is as bright as a sunflower, but what’s going on in her mind is anyone’s guess - and that’s what makes her so compelling. Life has been tough on her, especially after losing her mother in a building fire, and her mission to reclaim that building and turn it into a beautiful cafe, just like her mother used to run.

As Aurora works towards her goal, she meets Tristan, a guy who’s trying to move on from his past love, and is struck by how much Aurora resembles her. Their connection is palpable, but it’s the complexities of their pasts and the twists and turns of the plot that might just cause Tristan to lose his second chance at love again.

What an amazing book. Being a debut novel, it is very well written. The way it brings out emotions, tears, heartbreak, loss, love, betrayal and everything else is just so good. The way, she has explained all the characters are just on point.

What starts as chance encounters soon becomes something neither of them expected: a deep, emotional bond. But as buried secrets and past traumas rise to the surface, they must confront their pain and face the possibility of new beginnings.

My Tristan is a heartfelt contemporary romance about loss, second chances, and the courage to let love in again — blending tender moments, emotional depth, and unexpected twists that keep readers immersed until the very end.
Few things were missed here and there but overall it was a lovely read!!!

Tristan lives with a quiet kind of grief, the kind that slowly builds walls around the heart 🤍.
Aurora carries her pain openly, finding comfort in flowers after losing someone she once loved deeply 🌸.
The story unfolds gently, allowing their connection to grow naturally through shared loss, healing, and tender moments ✨.
Rather than rushing the romance, the narrative focuses on emotional growth, trust, and the courage it takes to let go of the past 🍃.
This is not just a love story—it’s about choosing happiness, even after heartbreak 💞.
A soft, heartfelt contemporary second-chance romance that feels like a warm embrace 📖🤍
