This trip to New Orleans was supposed to be a way to relax and unwind for Lyra Demery and her girlfriends. You know what happens on the girl's trip stays on the girl's trip--or something like that. But when you're running for your life through the streets and alleys of the French Quarter because of a case of mistaken identity, the local chapter of Sin City MC is her only hope. Specifically, the Vice President of the chapter, who has stolen her heart. Can he keep it safe too?
Beau 'Dragon' LeBlanc is no knight in shining armor. Hell, he ain't even a good person. So, when he gets a call from Ace, a brother from the Oakland Chapter, telling him that his wife's cousin is in trouble in his home territory and needs a place to hide, he almost says no, but agrees...reluctantly. The only place he knows for sure no one will touch her is the gator farm him and his brother run. But when the Greek Mafia decides to attack, its all hands on deck to protect the woman he's quickly falling for.
The members of Sin City MC never leave before all the cards are played.
The Sin City Series is an awesome collection of interconnected stories by different authors featuring the men and women of two MC clubs with chapters in New Orleans and Oakland, and while the stories have crossover characters, readers can skip around and read out of order. Dragon: Sin City New Orleans Chapter by Tamika Brown is a fun AND gritty story featuring Dragon, Beau LeBlanc and his brother Wolf, Remy LeBlanc; this is Dragon’s story, but readers get a great understanding of the connection between the two formidable brothers. Lyra is in New Orleans when she finds herself in need of assistance. Dragon is tapped to help her out and reluctantly steps up to the challenge. Lyra is rather naïve and seems clueless in the beginning but soon toughens up! I really enjoyed their interactions and chemistry, and as always, Ms. Brown gives her readers interesting conflict, great relationship building and off the chart passion, along with humor and tenderness…what more can we ask for? I look forward to the other books in this series and plan to go back and read the ones I missed!! https://theretiredreader.com/f/dragon...
I never knew how much I missed this series until I started reading Dragon's story. First, let me say I love his government name, Beau LeBlanc. And his brother Wolf aka Remy LeBlanc. Dragon and Wolf started this season off with a bang! The LeBlanc Gator Tours gave me flashbacks from the movie Lake Placid with Betty White and her feeding the cows to that big alligator. One thing is for sure, those gators never went hungry.
Lyra and her friends Saria and DeArie, while on vacation in New Orleans, would find themselves needing help from the Sinners. Lyra had me shaking my head throughout the beginning of this book because of her naivete or her just being plain stupid. The drama between her, Dragon, and Ebony has me laughing hysterically. Some people never learn. And Ebony found out the hard way about keeping your hands to yourself. I loved the flirtation, attraction, seduction, and physical connection that took place between Dragon and Lyra. They didn't mince words or waste time with games. I think one of the biggest highlights of this book was the development of connections between Lyra's friends and Sin City MC members Brick and Remy. It made the story more interesting. I honestly wished the book was longer. It was just that good. And let me tell you, there were several people who got exactly what they deserved in this book.
Overall, this book was a great start to what I'm sure is going to be another fabulous season of the Sin City MC New Orleans chapter. It was great to see some old faces again. Ace, Jevry, Haven, and Alexi. Tamika Brown has started the season with an amazing read. I can't wait for the next book in the series to drop.
Girls trip to New Orleans turns out bad. Three very best friends travel to New Orleans and end up running for their lives. These women had a fourth friend but she was unable to attend because she is pregnant. So the pregnant friend's husband pays for everything, even sending them down there in his private jet. One of the girls, Lyra, is mistaken for her cousin who couldn't make the trip and almost kidnapped in daylight on the street. They get ambushed on their way to a game and gets shot at.
I've been waiting for New Orleans Sinners, and it was worth the wait. I couldn't get enough of Dragon and Lyra. Lyra proved to be a bad a$$, which is exactly what Dragon needed in his life. The way she handled Ebony and was will to run into danger to protect her man, I loved it.
I was super excited about this book because I knew I was gonna love it, and I was proven right!😍 Dragon was so flippin’ good for Lyra. This book had the perfect amount of drama, suspense, and steam. This book had me yelling at the characters, literally laughing out loud, and getting down right emotional. 10/10 all the way! 😍
Yasssss, great start to this Sin City series, Dragon aka Beau to Lyra are a no nonsense couple. Mistaken identity causes mayhem to come to NOLA but Dragon was there to handle business... Loved how the author incorporated Remy and Brick within this story...
A great start to this new series. Lyra goes to NOLA for some well planned R&R with friends. Little did she know that a fortune telling was about to come true and the Dragon \Beau would come to her rescue. Great story.
Loved it! Intense and action packed. I so wanted to read more. I loved Lyra's spirit, friends and family. Chapter 17, did not see that COMING. I hope to see more of this couple in the future.
I loved everything about this book. The characters and storyline are awesome. I would definitely recommend this book 📚 to friends and family. I gave this book 5 stars because it kept my interest and was well written.
