Excellent and very helpful book!

I loved reading this. I started reading this to gain knowledge, I do consider myself a fairly knowledgeable dog owner, however, I always want to learn more, so I absolutely was going to read this book. As I made my way through, I started analyzing my dogs' behavior to see if there were holes that needed patching, and sure enough, there were! I didn't know how much of this book would be applicable to me and my dogs until I started reading it. It's a very detailed book with loads and loads of helpful information. I'm really excited to use what I've learned and start working on things with my dogs. This is a fantastic book and I'm so glad I read it. I will absolutely be recommending it to everyone I know, regardless of whether or not it's applicable to them, it's just useful information to have.

positive training for aggressive dogs

This book was very informative especially breaking down the different kinds of aggression in dogs. Positive training is definitely the way to go. I would highly recommend this book to any new dog owner. Lots of helpful ideas for beginners. The book goes into all training problems not just aggression which is helpful because a well trained dog is a good dog. People tend to forget that as the book mentions. Training takes time but works. I enjoyed reading it very much. Very good strategies.

Good book for dog guardians

I think this is a good read for all who want to have a furry friend. It provides a lot of good advices and suggestions for training in every day life with a canine companion, explaining a lot of behaviors.
Personally, I was in search of a book to help me manage my dog's agression towards other intact male dogs...and there isn't unfortunately much to go on in this department...
But still, it is helpful in many other ways.
