Firstly I would like to thank Kat N. Rioux for giving me the opportunity to read her debut book Sweetest deception it was amazing I hope others would like it as well.

When I started reading the book I didn’t want to put it down I finish it within 2 days in when I tell you it didn’t disappoint me I’m not joking I was hooked soon as I saw the cover in the dedication I knew I found the right book I’ve been looking for.

I felt so connected with both of the main characters cause omg they was perfect Hanna and Damon are adorable I wish I could meet them in person.

I really enjoyed this story!
I felt for Hanna. She had been through so much. Hanna had a lot of secrets that are eventually revealed and I was shocked finding out what they were!
I also enjoyed Hanna’s character growth! I really liked her group of friends. Scarlet and Bailey were great friends and I feel we’re a big part of Hanna’s growth and were a great support system.
Once Damon accepted his feelings towards Hanna he was all in. I loved their relationship together. They had great chemistry.
The only thing was sometimes the story was hard to follow along. While reading some parts I thought I missed something because of the time jumps with no explanation. It also kind of bothered me that Hanna was so mean to her brother for really no reason. But overall I really enjoyed this and I cannot wait for Damien’s story!! And I want to know more about Ace and Sam.

Oh my!!!! This book had me from the first chapter!!! Sweet Temptation is a masterpiece I can tell you!! I had all the emotions happen while reading this and I mean they were all over the place...one minute I'm crying then laughing then I'm ruddy angry!! Honestly wow is all I can say about Sweet Temptation believe me when I say you won't be disappointed. To say this is a debut book from Kat as well I honestly can say all her other books will be amazing.

Where do I start with Damon and Hanna!! Honestly these two!!! Yes it's a slow burner with them being enemies to lovers and mafia lead too I mean it was all my favourites rolled into one story. But once these two connect I mean wow!!! 🥵 The sex scenes are hot as hell....Hanna broke my heart in some scenes I mean this girl has been through it but she's never a victim she's a strong ass woman!!! And Damon oof don't get me started! He's just lush 🥵 the touch her and die vibes I love and always will do. These two get obstacles thrown from all directions at them but they never let them throw them off. To say this was a debut novel it's so so good and I can't wait for more to come.

I can't tell you how many times I wanted to hug our heroine, Hanna, who has been through some horrific things in her past, and present. She was hoping that going to college would help her get a new start but it's hard for her still. She finally meets the perfect friends for her who kept me laughing a lot, plus she meets Damon, a morally grey hero. He was raised by a psychopath mother who is head of their mafia family, and the last girl that he was interested in, she made him get rid of her. He's closed himself off since then until he comes face to face with Hanna. He knows he should stay away from her, but he absolutely cannot do that so they embark on an intense new journey. The sparks fly between them, but they don't act on them right away, plus, she's doing her best to keep him at arm's length because of her emotional scars. There's a ton of suspense in these pages because of his family ties, so the twists were coming in hot, and let me tell you, I couldn't put the book down for anything until I had finished it all. I'm super excited for the next book as I'm all in when it comes to this author! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Omg this book!

This book gripped me from the beginning to the end!

The beginning is just 🤯! I needed to know what happened!

The emotions that come with this read! One minute I’m shocked then next I’m angry then happy etc!

I felt like I was walking beside Damon and Hanna. I felt their emotions every step of the way!

Damon is a beast 😍 and what he did was just amazing!

The ending! Omg I’m so happy for Damon and Hanna!!! 😍😍

This is the first book I’ve read from Kat N Rioux and it’s safe to say this won’t be the last! I can’t wait for other books to be released!

If you haven’t got this on your TBR then I would 100000% recommend you to read it!!!

A debut novel from Kat N. Rioux packed with some of my favorite tropes - Enemies to Lovers, Dark Mafia Romance, Possessive MMC with Hockey Elements.

I’m not usually a slow burn girl, but Kat did it right and hooked me from the beginning. Weaving together a captivating storyline and unraveling it with perfect timing. Damon and Hanna were complete opposites but just fit and had great chemistry. And oh, his possessiveness!👌🏻 I loved seeing them both grow together as a couple (once he gave in), as well as individually. Especially Hanna.

Can’t wait to see what Kat has in store for us next and for Damien’s story.

This is a debut from this author, and my word, she has done an incredible job in weaving Damon and Hanna’s story. This author is definitely a name to look out for in the future.
This is a well written slow burn, with enemies / lovers, psychopath / good girl, opposites attract, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and captivating mafia romance.
I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

Hanna needs to make a decision. OR, has Damon already made it for her!

The slow burn, the enemies to lovers, the emotions, the twists!! This had it all! I love me a good mafia book and ya this was GOOD! For a debut author Kat did the thing! I really enjoyed Hanna and Damon’s crazy story. Full of twists I didn’t see coming. Can’t wait to read more!
