This shorter story will take you to the past on a quest for missing gold. Is it missing? Was it discovered by someone else first? Will they escape with their lives? It is the Wild West, after all.
Set in the mid-to-late 1800s, these characters aren't afraid to pursue their goals. I especially enjoyed the fact that one of the main characters is a woman. Women were prominent then and didn't just sit at home raising a family.
There is action and adventure, and even some moments to keep you on the edge of your seat.
I enjoyed the tie-in with the title about Chasing the Sun. Read the book to find out what it means.

Took a while to build up momentum. Once the adventure picked up some speed it was a pretty fun read.
