The stories in "My Third Half" are sharp, witty, and full of life. Vogt crafts his tales carefully to tell us about various people we might know--people in the city and in the suburbs, living mainly in the present day. We see ourselves in his characters, who experience love, success, and loss. And yet there is no giving up. Vogt's gift for humor pulls his characters through.
