Well Organized and Thoughtful Strategies

This is a wonderful resource for parents, and provides strategies and advice on how to handle communicating with your children in moments where anger or frustration may take over. It is organized very well, and has useful advice with example scenarios, the author encourages the reader to self analyze. I can’t speak as to whether or not these are effective strategies, as no-yelling is a function of our daily lives, including how I was raised and how we raise our children. And I think that is a primary takeaway- that children tend to emulate the behavior and not always your words. This is a well composed book, and good read for parents in general.

"The child is the men's father ": For kids from 2 to 99 years old.

This book really helped me with healing for my inner child or shadow work as you wanna name it . I am a 40 year old men how have struggled with self-discipline and low self-esteem. I was a child who had enough for survival like food, water and a house, but was neglected when it came to guidance and learning essential social skills like managing and expressing my emotions, resilience, empathy, discipline and positive social behavior. As they say in France : " The child is the men's father". So what you learned or don't learned in your childhood will guide you for the rest of your life. This is a book for children from 2 to 99 years old.

Covers all the bases

Good book that emphasizes the reasons that parents yell. Usually it's an underlying stressor that goes unchecked and so adults tend to take out on the kids. This book demonstrates effective communication skills that parents can adopt to get better outcomes in all instances. Not too deep so it's an easy to read over a period of time.
