Emile to Geronimo via Kensal Rise is the story of a boy brought up by his treasured Grandmother in her Paris Bric a Brac. She is involved in fencing stolen property, and when she is arrested after sending him on an errand, he sees her being arrested and they never meet again. He is left with the parcel which he couldn’t deliver to survive and grow up in Europe. After war service he opens an antique shop. There, we meet is colourful friends and mostly comic villains through eleven chapters. He finally two mysteries which run through the story from the beginning, and he retires a happy man to his much loved antique shop in Kensal Rise.
