A gorgeous rock star who could have anyone he wants, risky business decisions, and a whole lot of desire. In a world full of drugs, sex, and rock and roll- where does this seemingly normal rookie publicist fit in?
Juliet "Jules" Warren was thrilled when she landed an intern position with the Acton PR agency. She however wasn't so thrilled when her best friend decided to drag her to a rock concert featuring America's favorite bad boys- Chaotix. A chance encounter with the band's lead singer, Ryan Knox, after the show sets the stage for an epic showdown between two incredibly different worlds.
The line between lust and love can be a thin one, but at what point do you realize that it's been crossed?

what a great rockstar romance! the whole time I was reading this it was kinda reminding me of Lilac by BB Reid but without the why choose element to it, a real rockstar romance, where we’re touring, going to shows, flying to other countries, writing songs etc I loved it!
Ryan Knox is a 31, and Juliet is 23 and becomes his publicist and has to tour with them, Ryan never sleeps with the same person more than once, and Juliet is flying up the career ladder and doesn’t want to jepordise her future 👀
The spice was great, some of the things that came out of Ryan’s mouth 😮💨😮💨 the writing was okay too, I do think the story was lacking a bit more development and substance to the characters and how their relationship grew but also in 260 pages I think the authors done a pretty good job. It was fun & pretty fast paced, show to show, sneaking about to clubs & hotels etc I flew through it in 4 hours 😂 and will definitely pick up the next book when it comes out 🙌🏼
This book was surprisingly good and a very easy read. If you like rockstar romances and you want something quick and easy with good spice and not a lot of drama I recommend this book 🙌
The only thing I found conflicting with this book was I could not connect with the characters no matter how much I tried even though I really enjoyed it? Maybe it’s just a me thing who knows 🤷♀️
Harper Harper Harper…. Where do I even being with this book! I have been here from the beginning! To watch all the hard work and determination you have put into this book has been an amazing experience! You truly are a talented writer your books flow so well and are so beautiful written. Okay I’m done being sappy on to the book review…
RYAN THIS MAN IS HOT HOT HOT AND HE COULD LITERALLY RUIN MY LIFE! This man loves to eat( if you know what I mean)🥵🥵🥵 I fell in love with Ryan in the beginning! He acts like he’s the badass player rockstar but he’s so much more than that! To watch his character development as a person but also with him opening up to Juliet was so beautiful! I love him and he is definitely one of my top bokk boyfriends.( Atleast until the next book in the series comes out😂)
JULIET!! I love her she is one of my favorite FMC! She is so relatable and to watch her character interact with others in the book was so fun to watch. I can just picture her bossing the boys around and I love it!
The band members: Oh now they are all so hot and I can’t wait to get all of their stories and see all of their own personalities!! All of the scenes with them had me laughing until I was crying😂
My favorite part of the book was the friendships! I love when the main characters have a good friends they can rely on! Juliet and Alyssa’s friendship was so amazing I want one like that haha!
I highly highly recommend this book! It is an amazing rockstar romance and the SPICE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
I would like to start this review by saying that this was the first ever book that I finished in one day! To be fair, it is a bit of a short book and definitely a quick read as the longest chapter is seven pages and most chapters average 5-6 pages.
This book would be a three star, leaning more towards two, but it seems unfair to rate a book poorly just because I chose to review it when it wasn't my usual cup of tea. Therefore, I am giving it four stars as I believe it is a good book for it's genre and for the audience it was targeted to.
Now on with the actual review. This book was far out of my comfort zone. When I signed up to be an ARC reader for this, I knew it was going to be smutty. What I didn't know however, was that the smut would really be the plot of the story. That being said, I do not consider this to be a bad thing, it simply is not my thing. At first when I picked this book up, I didn't think I was going to be able to finish it as we had met our love interest and had sexual tension by the third chapter. Obviously, I was wrong.
Overall, I did enjoy this book. I think that it came to a really nice ending, that put the characters exactly where the readers wanted them to end up. That being said, I believe that this book could have been longer and that is my biggest complaint. Especially the last few chapters could have been dragged out just a bit more to give up more time to understand our characters. This will be elaborated more on in the spoilery section. Now that I've mentioned my biggest complaint, it's time for my favorite aspect of the book. My favorite thing is the way that the author is able to describe so many different feelings. Whether it be a sexual moment, an emotional moment, or even just a friendly moment, the author is able to describe almost perfectly how the characters feel both inside and out. Nothing is hidden from the readers and I really appreciate that.
Here is where the review gets a bit more spoilery, so continue at your own risk.
Another thing I really enjoyed about this book is that Ryan is the perfect mix of alphahole and likable. Of course, I love me an brooding alphahole just as much as the next girl, but Ryan offered something fresh. Something completely different from what I've ever seen before and I love that.
Now back to a few of the things that I didn't like so much, one of them kind of contradicting the last thing I just said. It felt like Ryan had too many different personalities. He of course had his normal day-to-day personality, then he had his stage personality, then his bedroom personality, but then he had the personality we really only ever saw when in his thoughts. This personality kinda read as a more creepy, stalker version of Ryan. By chapter 4, he is already obsessed with Juliet and wants to hunt her down no matter what, kinda creepy. Don't get me wrong, kinda sexy, but also kinda creepy.
Heading into mega spoiler territory, final warning.
Going back to what I said earlier about the last chapters needing to be dragged out more, what I mean by that is that Juliet is sent away from Chaotix in order to save her career and their reputation. We get one, maybe two chapters of her during her healing process and suddenly we're back and she's going to see the last concert of their tour. I personally would have enjoyed more "filler" where we get to see how both Juliet and Ryan are healing during this tough time for them. This would have made their emotions when they do see each other again, when Juliet does hear that song dedicated to her; a lot more real not only to the characters but to the readers. Personally, there wasn't enough time for me to really get attached to Ryan and Juliet and their relationship. Of course they're very cute and I love them, but their separation and then reunion didn't really have enough time to resonate with me the way it would have if there had been more content on how they felt during that time.
At the end of the day, I can't say that I didn't enjoy this book, and I am currently torn on if I will read further into the series as I do want more Chaotix and I do enjoy the dynamic of those boys, but I'm not sure if these types of romances are for me.
I can’t even express how much I loved this book! Harper did it again! Her writing style is amazing and gets put together so beautifully! Especially with this one, from start to finish I loved every bit and it was so well thought out! With giving us the main characters stories but also adding in some side character loving! I’m so excited to see what comes in the future for Harper! Ryan is a rockstar I’ll never forget and pretty sure this will be a reread! The touch her and die vibes and the love he shows I just wanna eat it all up lol! Such an amazing story!
Harper Ashley ROCKED this book!! Juliet Warren is struggling to build her PR career when her best friend, Alyssa, takes her to a Chaotix Boys concert where they both get chosen to head backstage and meet the band. This is where she meets lead band member, Ryan Knox.
Ryan Knox screams ROCKSTAR.. from his tight leather pants, his sweaty abs, his swoon worthy voice, everything about him is the epitome of unattainable. But something about Juliet just intrigues him. So he decides to make his manager hire the PR firm Juliet works for to represent Chaotix and Juliet is offered the chance of a lifetime. Juliet warns herself to keep away from Ryan. She knows getting involved with him won’t lead to something good.. but can these 2 really stay apart??? You’ll have to read it to know.
This book was HOT (in all caps). Ryan is the ultimate rockstar book boyfriend and Juliet is so relatable. She’s easily loved amongst the band members and she’s damn good at her job! When you combine a hot MMC who’s a rocker with a fantastic FMC you get undeniable chemistry!! The spice in this book is just *delicious*!! Absolutely loved everything about it! I can’t wait for the next book!
Who doesn't love a broody rockstar with no sense of any long-term commitment. Then, he sees a hot girl at his concerts who turns him down. But the no started the chase and led him to hire her firm as their new publicist. Juliet is an intern with amazing ideas who is thrown into the deep end of the world of musicians and tours. Ryan and her have some crazy chemistry, but she can not be with the clients' period. I loved how smart she was and tried her hardest to be professional. I loved that Ryan had some.depth and some family stuff as well to make her see he's not a normal lead singer of a band. The rest of the guys cannot wait to read more on them.
3.5 ⭐️ I enjoyed the story, but the switch in verb tense happened a lot, sometimes mid page. Every time it did, I was distanced from what I was reading. That’s a personal preference, so don’t let that deter you from picking it up.
I felt more connected to Ryan’s (MMC) inner monologue than I did to Juliet’s, and sometimes found her character hard to figure out.
Overall a great slow burn rock star romance with a believable conflict, realistic characters, and a solid build of tension between the main couple.

I had seen this book come up on “similar books I would like” Amazon suggestions. I added it to my TBR and I should have moved it up sooner because I loved this book. It was short, sweet and had a big impact. I could feel Juliet’s hurt in the book and the love between the two characters gave me all the feels. The HEA did not disappoint. This was the first book I read by this author, but followed her and am going to add the next book in this rocker romance series to my TBR.
“This little game of cat and mouse we have going on is one of the most exciting things to happen to me in a long time.” • • • • Eeek, Ryan Knox. Remember when you got giddy over a boy band or a pop star when you were 18? This is the same feeling! (Me with Justin Beebs to this day haha)
Bad boy, goes sweet, we love that. My first rockstar book and I was here for it! This author is becoming one of my favorite.
Sweet, sultry, and swoon worthy: a summary of Wrecked. Ryan is the lead singer in a popular rock band and Juliet is a newbie PR agent, what could possibly go wrong? Wrecked is a rockstar, forbidden romance with forced proximity, jealous MCs, and a MMC that just loves to tell the FMC what a good girl she is (aha…yeah it’s a damn good time). This book was fast paced and had me wholeheartedly invested from the first chapter. Haven’t we all had the fantasy that you will go to a concert and the someone in the band will make eye contact and realize you’re the one for them? Juliet is one lucky lady for realizing our collective concert fantasy. I swear this book may have put me in a reading slump & I may never recover from how good this was.
The only reason this is not a solid 5 star book is because there’s some stuff mentioned about Ryan’s past that felt a bit incomplete and I wanted MORE! I am holding out hope that will be expanded upon in future books. Overall though I freaking loved this book and you should ABSOLUTELY give it a read.
Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5) Spice Rating: 🌶🌶🌶 Official release date is TBD, but it will be available on Kindle Unlimited!
EDIT: I’m updating my rating to 5 ⭐️ because I’m STILL THINKING ABOUT IT. I’m a woman possessed and obsessed. Catch me talking about this book for the foreseeable future.
Rockstar romance Wrecked by Harper Ashley follows intern Juliet Warren and lead singer Ryan Knox.
When Ryan did his research on Juliet as soon as he met her, based on the limited information he had, I just knew that Ryan would fall in love with her right away. He was also incredibly possessive and protective of her, which I adored because they were such a strong couple.
But, given that romance readers enjoy reading more about the heroes' thoughts, I didn't particularly like how Ryan's chapters were so brief in comparison to Juliet's. The fact that Ryan and Juliet aren't actually depicted as a couple right after Ryan grovels and I don't think they even exchanged the words "I love you" until the epilogue bothered me. The epilogue merely left me wanting a little bit more; it was too vague and came too fast (three months after).
All in all, I enjoyed Ryan's relationship with Juliet and his moments with the Chaotix brothers.
*Thank you to the author, Ashley Harper, for providing me with this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.*
Oh my god!! I don’t even know how to properly explain my love for this book! When a chance encounter leads to a rockstar tracking down a PR intern you never quite know what to expect.
Juliet “Jules” is a 23 yr old up in coming publicist who lands a huge opportunity to work with 31 yr old Ryan Knox and his band Chaotix after impressing the band and their manager with a new music video pitch. Things continue when Jules gets to join the band on tour where things take a spicy turn. With the added forced proximity of traveling together can Ryan and Jules keep things a secret? Find out in Wrecked.

I was waiting so long for this book and she did not disappoint, Harper wrote such a great rockstar romance. I devoured this book and I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry, the forbidden aspect, and the rockstar lifestyle keep you hooked. Juliet and Ryan are bound for each other and I loved seeing her fight it at first, because of her job. They were destined to be together and seeing Ryan’s determination to make it happen was so exciting. The ups and then the downs that came had you wondering there for a moment and then that ending was beautiful. Harper Ashley wrote a great book!!!
We all dream of that Rockstar romance, and this book brings it to you! Juliet, who's a PR, meets Ryan backstage with her best friend, and after searching her out, she becomes his PR because of her new ideas. Being his publicist, Juliet needs to keep their relationship strictly business due to her job. But they are falling for each other, can they keep it professional or will love win out! Read this book and find out! What a great read!
From the moment I started to read this, I was absolutely captivated by it. The characters alone had a hold on me that I know I won't ever forget (and will reread a million times over). The attraction between both main characters was such a slow burn at first that had you screaming for them just to do or say anything to the other to express what they were feeling. Harper did not disappoint when they did!!
Loved this book! Thank you Harper for writing a great rock star romance! Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for all of us. 10/10 recommend this book for anyone who loves rockstar romance and happy endings
Ryan may be my newest book boyfriend. I couldn’t get enough of him. He’s sexy, sarcastic and surprisingly sweet.
Lady Jules was smart as hell, good at her job and fierce. She held off way longer than I ever would’ve been able to do around Ryan!
This story was really well written. You can tell the author put some serious effort and heart into her writing.
Only thing I wish we had more of was Wrenlee. It was a big part of Ryan’s private life, his softer side and I didn’t get the reunion between them that I was craving. Maybe in another book? 👀
I can’t wait for the next book! #givemeallthegareth

Can we talk perfection! This book was AMAZING. Not only were the main characters amazing but all the side characters were on point. You couldn’t help to love every single person.
I love when a book gives you butterflies during scenes and this book didn’t disappoint!
So proud of the hard work Harper and her team put into this book. Great work.
This rockstar romance was such an amazing read the only reason I put it down was because I had to work! Juliet was so relatable that it makes you feel like you could be the next publicist for a rock band! Ryan seems to be that perfect womanizer rocker until the perfect girl finds her way backstage one day. I need more from them and Chaotix!!
