Try to force me into an arranged marriage, and you’ll see how dirty I can fight.
With my senior year at the Omega Finishing School approaching, I have no prospects for bonding after graduation. I’ve made myself as unappealing as possible to every courting pack, and none of them want anything to do with me.
It’s my proudest achievement—alongside the kill count I’ve racked up working summers with Jericho.
Except the law doesn’t allow an omega to choose not to bond, and my parents have decided to procure me a pack by contractual agreement. My feelings about this are of no concern to them.
Those same feelings are also what have me jumping into bed with three dangerous Alphas at the end of my final summer of freedom.
When I run into those Alphas again on a job, I think it’s a coincidence.
When their job brings them to my school, I think maybe it’s fate.
Can I work with Loki, Blaze, and Hawk to uncover a shady conspiracy while I also battle my parents in an attempt to implode my arranged bonding?
And can I fight the feelings I’m developing for these men before everything blows up in my face?
Of course I can. I’m Seraphina Bryce, and no one tells me what I can do.
This is a M/M/M/F Omegaverse romance set in the Dylan St. James universe. It is a standalone—no cliffhanger! While possible to read on its own, the reading experience would be much improved by reading Dylan’s duology first, so please do that. As always, this is for readers age 18+ and contains a ton of foul language, very steamy scenes, and violent themes.
Entertaining, but I did not enjoy this as much as the first couple books in this series. I hated the nickname Lamb. Blaze and Hawk felt a little interchangeable to me - I kept mixing them up. There's a good plot twist, but I had predicted it way earlier. The reveal felt a little anticlimactic because Seraphina forgave them immediately for the whole charade. She had been such a strong character for the entire book, so I really expected her to make these guys grovel a bit, but she did not. It was a bit disappointing - I was looking forward to a good grovel. The ending action sequence with Candi was a bit anticlimactic too because they weren't at the lab or anything. Idk - I liked it, but I feel like all of the characters got off too easily.
4.25 ⭐️ Thank you, Elizabeth Dear, for allowing me to ARC read this one for you. What I love most about these stories is the action-packed plot. Dont get me wrong. The relationships, the spice, and the MCs are very close in this race, but the plot always shines for me with this author.
Serephina is determined to break out of the mold and be 100% her bad ass self. The 3 alphas (swords crossing) she meets in a biker bar accept and obsess over from the very beginning. Will they or wont they be her pack forever?
3.5 (and 3 of those stars go directly to Seraphina)
I liked this, however the Dylan St James duet was one of my favorite reads last year. Comparatively, I feel a bit let down.
First off, I love Seraphina. Everyone in her life is telling her how lucky she is to be one of the privileged omegas who get to go to school and choose a pack. She knows others have it worse but it doesn’t make her loss of autonomy any less horrible. She would go from malicious compliance (wearing a blow up Dino suit to a courting brunch) to full scale warfare (EMP grenade). She was not going down without a fight.
We hardly get any of the guys POV’s until about 70% in. I get why, there was a twist that had to be kept hidden but I had figured it out early. It was fairly obvious so I just felt impatient for the reveal. I think the twist should have been moved up to at least 40% and we would have had more time to get to know the guys and see them with Seraphina. Them actively trying to keep their distance from her coupled with almost no chapters with their POV’s left me feeling like I didn’t really know them.
One of my favorite parts about Dylan St James’ book was how supportive her family was of her making decisions about her future and body. This is a world where omegas are forced to bond but I loved that Dylan’s family would literally die for her right to make her own decisions. Seraphina’s parents, who are far more well connected, with a lot more resources, repeatedly try to force her into a bond. I hated it and they had no remorse for how they acted because it all worked out in the end. Not good enough and I was pissed. Seraphina didn’t really hold them accountable (which felt unlike her) for what they did. I definitely prefer the St James clan over the Bryce clan.
I know I went on a bit of a rant there but this is still a good read. It is a unique look at OV and the topic of traditional values feels relevant to a lot of the conversation of gender roles today. I was frustrated for most of the middle of this book waiting for a predictable reveal to finally happen. Once it did I loved it. Hoping for better pacing in the next installment.
Loved it. All of it. This is such a fun world to return to, even though it deals with such serious topics (I find the slight levity helps soften the blow each situation deals out). I adore all of these characters, and Seraphina herself was so entertaining. The MMCs were sweet, and seeing them all interact with characters from Dylan's books was a great bonus.
This one is a bit of a fast burn in some aspects and a little insta-lovey, but I liked that here. It was also clear where the story was headed, but getting there was exciting to read. I love this pack together and got swoony at the perfectly cute epilogue.
This was such a fun time! Not as much angst as Dylan’s duology (and I’m a sucker for angst) but still a good time. I loved the lengths Sera was willing to go to create her own future. She’s unhinged and I love her.
I’m frothing at the mouth for Daisy’s book after seeing her as an 18 year old in this. She’s my favorite lunatic.
Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity! This review is completely honest and voluntary.
Group buddy read. I liked this one, it was fun. Predictable, but fun and light hearted except for the beta baby farm. Sera was chaos, crashing the arranged marriage set up at each stage. Loki, Blaze and Hawk were sweet and all in. Coincidence/fate stuff going on there. The mean girls at the end made me laugh. Curious about Paige and her future now that she's found her fire. The parent's reactions were fun. Jere was the best dad of the bunch, with his protectiveness and I know all sorta thing going on. Not sure about the nicknames. I liked that the guys were just as chaotic. It was fun.

It's no secret that I love Elizabeth Dear's brand of female empowerment fantasies, and Omega Unleashed ticks all of my boxes. This was a fast, fun read that I really couldn't put down.
If I have any complaints, it's that I struggled a little bit to differentiate between the male leads. They never really got an opportunity to stand out and make their own preferences known. In general the guys didn't get much screen time - we barely know their backstory - but it's pretty understandable given the length of the book. I expect this would have needed to become duet to really flesh them out. I know there are a few bonus chapters from the guys POV which I'm keen to find and read.
I also would have liked to read a bit more of the science behind the development of the drugs, but I think that's a direct result of coming off of an Ali Hazelwood binge read 😅
All in all this is was a sweet read with some darker undertones and a strong message about female rights and body autonomy.
I will add a warning here for fertility problems and miscarriage - the book references it quite a bit (with regards to side characters) and it makes up a large part of the plot.
I was fortunate to receive an advance copy of this book.
I really enjoyed the first 2 books of this series following another FMC, Dylan. There was tension and believable resolution to conflict. This books started great (loved that Seraphina became a secret bad*ss and impressed in her debut scene). But then the book fell a little into the tired trope zone. A bit of miscommunication never hurt somebody but when it all comes to light that everyone was lying the whole book and not one on page groveling session was given? It feels like eating really pretty Easter candy and realizing it is stale. Forgiveness given without any effort is hollow. And it really pushed me into annoyed then sad territory. The resolution wasn’t satisfying. And it stung that this amazing writing style could fall into such a trap, especially with the well written underlying themes. Everyone got to win after a 2 paragraph apology. I felt no anguish, contrition, guilt, or satisfactory effort. It was “okay. Love you anyways” and we moved on? Really grinds my gears.
Seraphina Bryce is most certainly Jere's daughter. Feisty, unyielding and quite set up in her ways. I quite liked this story and to be honest, it was a better experience than Dylan's journey.
The constant rebellion against societal norms and expectations was fun to follow though at times I did get a bit frustrated with the FMC as her parents were trying to do their best in a less than desirable situation and she just did not cut them any slack. To me it just seemed a bit too unreasonable at times considering the dire situation omegas were in.
The connection between Sera and the gentlemen was instant though it did get them quite some time going through hoops until they developed something more solid.
I loved Jere, he really looked out for his daughter's wellbeing and it kind of added that extra coziness to the story.
This was a fun story, quite a few obstacles along the way and of course, one spitfire FMC, who despite her hesitancy found her own happily ever after. I have to admit that if there were a story about the formation of pack Bryce, I would love to read it.
Sincerely, the first part was quite boring. Sera just ran from this pack using the weirdest tricks she had. Like? If she met the pack we could cut probably 100 pages in the book and she could make them kiss the floor trying to earn her trust again. I don’t know. I just felt she was an annoying and spoiled girl.
I am so disappointed with how Seraphina ended up with her pack that I just quit.
Especially since they knew who she was the whole time and what she was like, it felt like they manipulated her and in the end she just caved and was happy about it.
And when Jericho asked " do you trust me" she hesitated and admitted she didn't know if she could trust him. That was heartbreaking, and then later on he's smirking in a corner because his manipulation worked. I officially hate him more than all her other fathers because of that.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Our little bunny had been caught by three dangerous predators, and she wasn’t even a little bit nervous.
Seraphina Bryce: Omega Unleashed, was the PERFECT followup to the Dylan St James duet! Seth and Austin’s little sister sure grew up in the two years since she was the pampered princess who helped them find their omega. I loved how strong Seraphina has become in the interim. And I instantly loved the guys, too!
I prefer edgier omegas. Those who can hold their own and don’t require a strong alpha (or three) to fight their battles. And when the men support her independence, that makes me all gooey inside. Seraphina (and her pack) were just that! I loved it when she repeatedly proved just how awesome and deadly she was, and how Loki, Blaze, and Hawk got starry-eyed watching her work.
While this is a generally lighthearted story, there is an undercurrent of darkness that might be too close to home for many readers. Namely, government and outside forces trying to control the autonomy and reproductive rights of all omegas. I promise you though, the alphas are sweet, if not deadly, and adore Seraphina, joining her "fight the patriarchy".
This is a one-night stand to coworkers to lovers, spicy, MMMF omegaverse romance that ends in a HEA. The three alphas are in an established MMM relationship before they meet Seraphina, and love how she completes their dynamic. There are MF and group scenes with all the goodness of OV (knots, slick, heat).
While this can be read as a complete standalone, I HIGHLY recommend reading Dylan's duet first. For one, it is a fantastic story in its own right and you get to meet side characters who play a huge role in Seraphina's story. Additionally, you get to see Seraphina's growth from a pampered (aka sheltered) omega to one who has had her eyes opened to the plight of omegas.
Seraphina Bryce is an omega that wants no part of being bonded to a pack of alphas. After what happened with Dylan, she's learned so much about what happens to less privileged omegas outside the OFS college she attends. Unfortunately for her she's in her senior year and her parents have decided to go to drastic measures in ensuring she has a pack before she's stuck in the system. While on a rebellious streak she meets loki, Blaze and hawk. Three hot as sin alphas who decide to take her for a ride. It was only supposed to be a one night stand, but when they show up on a job she's working, things take a quick left turn. Together they're working on taking down a company trying to force omegas into breeders for beta couples. This book is steamy and hot just like Dylans was. We get to see familiar faces and meet new ones along the way. Sera is fierce and an incredible omega. And her men are just as hot and passionate about her work as she is. I devoured this story and am aching for more on several characters. Like always Elizabeth did an incredible job with making me fall in love with these characters and immerse myself into this world. Absolutely wonderful.
Elizabeth Dear has proven again that she can do no wrong. Do you ever feel like an author is writing something just for you? Because that's what reading Elizabeth Dear's books are like for me.
Now, onto Seraphina. This was just SO fun to read. If you haven't ready the Dylan St. James duet first, do that - it will make this book all the more enjoyable. Where Dylan was raised to be fierce, Seraphina was raised (begrudgingly) to be a stereotypical Omega. Once she realizes she's not happy with her fate, she takes matter into her own hands and trains to be a force of nature in her own right. It was so fun to read about her antics.
I don't want to give anything away, but Sera and her guys are just perfect. Read this... you won't be sorry!!
I can't wait for Daisy's book and maybe something about the elder Bryce pack?! Please?
3.5 stars. This is sort of a standalone MMMF omegaverse book -- but it would make a lot more sense if you read the duet before it, first, about this heroine's brothers (Dylan St. James: Omega Concealed).
This is about Seraphina (she’s like 20 or so), who is an Omega from a wealthy and supportive family. Because of the way their society works, she has to be matched with a pack. She has no choice; she's not allowed to just live on her own. She resents this, and rebels when her family tries to match her with a pack, which leads her to meeting the 3 heroes. She also secretly works as an assassin, thanks to her lovable crazy dad, Jericho (who I would totally read a prequel book about). There's a plot twist that's also predictable, but I didn't mind. I'd rather be able to see the breadcrumbs for a plot reveal than feel like it came out of nowhere, and feel like the author just threw in random shit just for the sake of being "shocking" (like Amo Jones does in all her books, like Sicko).
I don’t know how to rate this book. I rounded it up to 4 stars since Goodreads doesn’t allow for half-stars. But it’s really more of a 3 star read. It could have used more relationship depth and development. The “I love yous” came too fast. The guys’ personalities could have been more distinctive from each other. There could have been more tension in the relationship - the guys did sort of feel boringly like "yas queen!" about everything Seraphina did. And, this book needed more closure at the end (with everyone at Seraphina’s snobby Omega college reacting to the fact that ).
This book wasn’t totally lacking in character depth or relationship development, but it just wasn’t as strong as this author’s other books like her werewolf series (Mave Fortune), or her A Knight’s Revenge RH trilogy (Storm the Gates). So, I don’t like her Omegaverse books as much as her other stuff. But, they’re still enjoyable.
Why did I round it up to 4 stars instead of round down to 3, despite all that non-4 star stuff? I do just love this author’s books. All her heroines are pretty similar to each other. But similar to author Suzanne Wright (who also writes like that), it really works for me how she writes them. And even though I hate instalove, and I find it boring when heroes pretty much worship their heroines from the start of a book, she also writes that in a way that works for me. So, I don’t mind her characters being samey. Seraphina was a blast, if you want a kickass heroine who's slightly unhinged (in a good way).
Elizabeth Dear’s books are my version of cozy comfort reads, since the heroines are always bold and confident, their families are loving and supportive, and their heroes are mostly supportive, too. Most of the conflict comes from exterior plot stuff. But, there’s always enough plot action and conflict that I’m not bored. This sets her books apart from other books that more explicitly advertise themselves as cozy / sweet / comfort reads (like Endless by Devyn Sinclair or books by Devney Perry), where I AM often bored reading them. Her books aren’t anything super deep or amazingly well written, but they’re just fun. I'm willing to roll with flaws that I'd pick apart in books from different authors, because she draws me in enough and makes it entertaining enough. I've enjoyed everything she's put out, and I always have time for her new releases.
Seraphina Bryce: Omega Unleashed is the third title in the Dylan St. James Omegaverse series written by Elizabeth Dear.
*Omegaverse *Why-choose romance *Hidden identity
I love Omegaverse and the love the Dylan St. James series!! This is one of the best Omegaverse series that I have read, strong FMC’s and no relationship drama!
Each of the main characters have their own personalities but they know how to work together. The MMC’s know the value of their Omega and they enjoy and appreciate how strong she is, but are also able to step in when needed in rescue situations, and during her heat.
❤️ ⚜️ Book Title - Seraphina Bryce: Omega Unleashed ⚜️ Author - Elizabeth Dear ⚜️ Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⚜️ Some Genre/Themes/Tropes: Adult Fiction, Romance and RH
Elizabeth Dear’s Omega RH series is absolutely mesmerising! It masterfully blends the magic of RH romance with a compelling plot, richly layered characters, and sizzling chemistry that kept me hooked.
Each relationship is thoughtfully developed, creating an intricate web of emotional depth, undeniable tension, and heart-melting moments. The bonds between characters, both romantic and familial, are crafted with such authenticity that they feel utterly real.
And, as always, Dear’s signature family dynamics shine, adding warmth and depth to the story. Every interaction feels meaningful, every challenge heightens the emotional stakes, and every moment of intimacy is pure magic.
If you’re looking for an Omega RH series that delivers on both heart and heat, this one is an absolute must-read!
Note (How I rate): One is DNF. Two is got there but struggled. Three stars is a good, enjoyable read. Four is an excellent read and five is a comfort read that lingers with me for life (very difficult to get but not impossible).
-omegaverse -mmmf whychoose -forced arranged pack -stubborn independent fmc -one night stand
i love this world of omegaverse every time elizabeth writes it! its just always such a great storyline with a badass boss bitch fmc & the hottiesss that let her be who she's supposed to be! i just can't wait to get more in this world!
I can say with full certainty that I preferred the MMCs in this installment FAR BETTER than the idiots that Dylan ended up with in the duology that preceeded this book. That being said, these dudes are also a bunch of doofuses.... lying is lying no matter how handsome you are. Seraphina was a badass FMC, and her balls to the wall, take no prisoners take on life had me smiling and laughing out loud at several points in the book. Her antics were an absolute joy to read. I need to know more about her bff Henri, he seems like a good time. Though I refer to the three stooges as doofuses, their feelings for Seraphina were legit, and I did enjoy how their relationship progressed. It was just obvious what the "twist" was gonna be, and it had my back up the entirety of the book. I begrudgingly, ultimately adore them and their relationship... just a little salty about the tactics. Regardless, loved it, recommend it, totally worth the read ❤️
I can't lie...anything and everything Elizabeth Dear writes...it's an automatic one click buy for me!
Seraphina is an amazing FMC! Considering the world we live in today...I needed an FMC that wasn't shy and bashful--but willing to fight for her rights.
Personally...I needed a standalone and a palate cleanser...and this totally fit the bill!
Can I give a book more than 5 stars? Because this one deserves it! It’s phenomenal! I loved Seraphina’s story!
I was completely hooked from the first page! She is everything we need in a strong willed omega fmc! And her pack…Can I please get one? I loved them! They are so supportive of her and her life plus that are all together as well! Yes please!!!
What you can expect:
🧡 a chaos kitten omega FMC 🧡 three gorgeous, dangerous, bis3xual Alphas 🧡 arranged marriage to one pack, falling for another 🧡 one-night stand to more 🧡 vibes reminiscent of three hot zookeepers trying to corral an adorable-but-slightly-violent wildcat 🧡 omega academy 🧡 feminine rage 🧡 action plot with 🔥 spice
If you said yes to everything above, then this is definitely a story for you!
This book was absolutley amazing but I expect nothing less from Elizabeth Dear. I even dare to say I loved this book more than I did Dylan's duet. Seraphina is the perfect FMC and she's surrounded by the best Pack. Who couldn't help but love the sparks that fly when the four of them are together.
I found some parts of the plot to be a bit too similar to Dylan‘s story for my liking and so I kept comparing the two. The fact that I read this right after Dylan‘s books didn’t really help that. But apart from that, this was a really good read, I had fun 🙂↕️
Seraphina got one book but honestly it was done so beautifully and honestly worked out perfectly!
I loved Seraphina, she was unhinged at times and I loved unhinged fmcs. The things she did to avoid doing something I can’t!!
I had a suspicion about one of the packs but I was still shocked about what we learned! Of course her bio dad and her are similar hahaha you can’t hide from those genes.
Elizabeth Dear did it again! My goodness I could not put this book down and didn’t want it to end! If you loved Dylan’s books, you will have a blast with Sera’s story!!
