Chased By The Mountain Man is the 8th book in the Crave County: Snowfall Ridge series. And just like all the others was a great read! It’s got the sexy, & a little bit broody mountain man who’s battling some demons & doesn’t think he’s good enough for his girl. I loved both Jasmine & Trent. Their connection was good & the spice was really nice!
Every book in this series has been a joy to read & as sad as it is to see it come to an end, I’m excited for Clara’s new lumberjack series!

Jasmine works at a bank and when she rejects the advances of her co-worker, he gets her in trouble with the police. When she runs away into the woods she meets Trent. Trent sees Jasmine and instantly knows she is his, but he thinks he isn't good enough for her. But he vows to keep her safe and to deal with the co-worker. Jasmine works in a bank. One day she and her friend ask the new guy out for a drink just as work friends. That seems to get the guy to start focusing on her until she tells she just wants to be friends. He isn't happy about it. She heads to the restroom and when she gets back leaves. She's stopped by the police and is in the process of being arrested for illegal possession when she bolts. She knows its the guy who uses and drinks.
Trent is foraging for mushrooms on Snowfall Ridge. He was in the military for years and this helps keep his mind off stuff he doesn't want to think about. Then he hears sounds and turns to see someone run past. Then a cop buddy asks for his help. He finds her but she's beautiful. No way will he let them take her.
He helps her by misdirecting the police. Then he takes her home with him. She tells what happened. She is shocked when he believes her. He is very hot red angry with the boy who did this just because she rejected him. He will figure out a way to get that idiot to confess and clear her name. But tomorrow. He wants her here with him tonight.
Will he be able to hold that promise he made to himself? Will Jasmine be cleared and the real culprit arrested?
A beautiful story that will make the heart beat a little faster.

Jasmine works at the bank along with co-workers, Sharon and Danny, and one night when they are at the bar having drinks; Jasmine sees a baggie with white powder in Danny's pocket--so she leaves. A few days later when Sharon had to leave early, Danny asks Jasmine to go on a date and she refuses; he makes fun of her. She goes to the bathroom and Danny is gone when she returns to grab her purse and keys to leave work. Just down the street, the police put their lights on and pull her over and then see that she has a baggie of white powder in her glove box. When she steps out the car, she runs into the woods.
Trent is walking in woods, and he hears noises. One of the cops knows Trent and asks him to help the criminal. Image when Trent finds the criminal who is a young woman. He decides to hide her until he discovers what's happening. How will Trent find the trust? Will he be able to clear her name?.

This insta-love story is bang right out of the hop! Who can't get the dull vibe Jasmine is putting up with at the bank to say she has a safe, reliable job.

She didn't expect to get set up by her creepy co-worker......or go running headfirst into the woods like a crazy woman. Although that crazy moment leads her to Trent.

I've been so excited to hear about Trent's story. (In for a treat...totally read Fake Dating the Mountain man...so many character's intertwine!) Trent has been a rather loner for awhile after coming home from military service.

He didn't expect finding a beautiful angel in the woods that day, but bless his heart he is gone. I adored how these two found each other. Its sweet, really sincere in seeing they both want to open up and heal, and lets NOT forget Spicy Caliente cabin time!!!

This is he spicy vibe we NEED right now to kick off the sunshine coming our way!

Not exactly a typical Tuesday afternoon

Chased by the Mountain Man is the eighth book in the Crave County: Snowfall Ridge series. This story is a wild ride romance between Jasmine and Trent. She is working at a local bank as a data entry clerk. She may not like her job but she does like at least most of her coworkers. But there is that one smarmy man who gives her chills, and who will set off a whole lot of trouble for her. Trent is ex-military who lives up on the mountain and is struggling. But when he finds Jasmine hiding from the cops he knows with just one look that she needs his protection. The circumstances which bring these two together may be all wrong but it definitely makes it right between them.
This is a quick read that was entertaining. It is steamy, has some drama, action, friends and one overprotective and possessive man who knows what he wants as soon as he lays eyes on her.

What I liked- gotta love the Instalove. I also liked that it was the woman who was on the run from the law instead of the man. The story was both sweet and steamy.
What I didn’t- where was the search warrant? And why didn’t they run fingerprints as soon as they could, instead of waiting until they had a second suspect?.

Chased by the Mountain Man is a short and sweet instalove with two damaged individuals who find unexpected solace in each other. War torn veteran Trent suffers from PTSD and prefers his loner lifestyle. Jasmine has been threated and intimidated by her coworker, bringing out all of Trent’s alpha-male protectiveness. Watching them open up to each other is absolutely beautiful. Their sizzling connection and steamy moments leap off the pages and keep you engaged in their story as they fight for themselves and each other. This is a heartfelt and enjoyable novella.

I loved the meet cute when Trent found Jasmine cowering in the bushes. I don't however, love the situation that made her get into that situation. Danny is a complete scumbag. I'm glad that he got his comeuppance and paid the price for his actions.

I loved the interactions between Trent and Jasmine and when they both confess to being virgins it makes that innocence seem even more precious. The cake scene at the end is just adorable too. Loved the hidden meaning of the cake and its design. It's a great idea that might come in handy in the future if someone else has a similar announcement.

I loved Chased by the Mountain Man Crave County: Snowfall Ridge. Jasmine can’t believe she’s running from the law, her coworker has to be behind it. She can’t believe this man named Trent is helping her. He believes her and makes her feel special. They seem to connect instantly but suddenly he’s pushing her away. Can she convince this grumpy mountain man they belong together? I loved this short and sweet story, and the characters. He’s a protector and she needs someone in her corner. I would definitely recommend this book.

This couple had insane chemistry, and after some minor angst, we got a great HEA. I loved it!!!.

This story really grabbed my attention from the first page and kept me interested throughout. The characters were well defined, and each had issues they struggled with. Trent was former military and suffered from PTSD. He kept this part of himself hidden from everyone (like most of the rest of him). He met Jasmine as she was running from the cops on what was, unquestionably, the worst day of her life. He could be her savior or her worst nightmare. Find out what happens.

Nem acredito que esse foi o último livro da série! Mal acabou e eu já estou com saudades! Amei demais a história de Jasmine e Trent, a forma inusitada como eles se conheceram e como eles se abriram um para o outro, contando seus receios e temores, falando dos traumas que nunca haviam contado para ninguém. What starts out as her worst day ever has a way of turning itself around when Jasmine meets Trent and feels that inner tingle. Liked how loyal Trent was, and willing to help despite the circumstances of Jasmine’s predicament. Enjoyed how each opened up to the other and both were able to relate with what they wanted from life together.

Short, sweet, instalove....
This was a really good short story. The characters are likable, the steam and chemistry are hot, and you get just enough in a small book. Good breather read, or when you only have a small amount of time. Enjoyable read!!.

Jasmine and Trent have such a great romance. I loved them together and how they started their relationship. It was so cute and sexy. They really wanted to be together from the moment they met. They’re a pair of cuties. Loved them and loved seeing Trent’s grandma again in this novella.
