"Guilty Glass" is Book 34 of the Cozy Corgi Mysteries, written by Mildred Abbott. I love all the regular characters in this series, but especially Watson, our cozy corgi mascot, and Detective Susan Green. This episode has Winifred (Fred), Susan, and Watson investigating the murder of a local businessman. There are so many suspects, including adults and their children, as well as other children in they local high school. Which of these suspects actually killed the man and why? There is a beautiful Christmas surprise at the end of the book. I gave this book a 5 star rating. I recommend this entire series to anybody who loves a great, clean mystery.
24-80. I am behind on my reading. My brother passed away in August and I am hip deep in attempting to get things arranged. Guilty Glass was hit the spot for me right now. Even if it is a murder mystery, the characters and town have become like family to me. I feel very cozy sitting down to a chapter after a long day. I enjoyed this story in particular because there were so many moving parts which included high school students. I also got tickled when Fred got into trouble with the high school and parents. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Is one of my favorite volumes, as of late. It was a lot of fun and the Mystery was a bit harder to guess. I love how this author weaves seeds of future volumes into present volumes so the story of the town keeps evolving. I love the characters the author has developed. Please keep 'em coming!
Fred and Watson sparkle again in their detective skills. Another murder solved. You can hardly do anything else before you read the whole book. This series has been such a pleasure to read. Cannot wait to see what is in store for Fred and Watson in their next adventure.
This series has meant so much to me over the years. I read it twice during Covid. I adore the characters and the mysteries are fascinating. I would feel truly blessed if they continued forever.
