Un BL ambientat a Itàlia enmig d'un conflicte entre dos faccions d'una mateixa màfia que haurà de resoldre qui serà el nou cap: el líder dels pura sang o el líder dels revolucionaris. Els dos aspirants són amics d'infància i viuran un estira-i-arronsa en la seva relació. El cap dels revolucionaris n'està enamorat des de petit, però quan descobreixi el secret inesperat del pura sang tindrà un gran avantatge per guanyar la cursa... ara bé, sembla que el cap i el cor no van a l'una. El volum s'acaba amb un cliffhanger d'infart i el que sembla un nou gir sorprenent. Amb ganes de més!!!! ♥

Nos encontramos la historia de una familia mafiosa italiana que se abre en dos ramas bastante diferenciadas y que tienen conflictos continuos entre ellos: los pura sangre (más tradicionales) y los revolucionarios o marcados (más progres).
Gino y Dante son los respectivos capos de estos grupos. Dante es un poco sinvergüenza y macarra, y Gino es todo un hombre elegante e inaccesible.
Un día ambos son citados para compadecer ante el jefe de la familia que les avisa de que dentro de poco se jubilará y que uno de los dos va a pasar a ser el nuevo jefe de la familia Gardino. Para ello, el jefe decide que ambos pasarán a vivir en el mismo recinto hasta que se termine de elegir al superintendente.
Y es entonces cuando Gino comete el primer error ya que Dante descubre su secreto, uno tan poderoso que podría derrumbar los cimientos de la familia. El capo de los marcados promete no decir nada a cambio de una noche. La convivencia se vuelve extraña entre los dos y digamos que el roce hace el cariño.
Además, tendremos la trama social que mueve los hilos en el pueblo ya que sigue habiendo dos grupos muy marcados y que no se entienden entre sí.
Una historia entretenida con escenas explícitas muy pasionales y que tiene sus momentos cuquis. De primeras no es una historia que se salga de lo normal, pero los personajes te terminan por engatusar (y el estilo de dibujo me encanta), al igual que ese giro de guion que no me veía venir, lo que me da ese pequeño empujón para querer continuar con la historia.

This was utterly unhinged, and I’m living for it!
Gino and Dante have already stolen my heart with one volume alone 😩 I want my mafiosos to be happy. Is that so much to ask? They’re dumb and hopelessly in love, and I’m in agony that I have to wait so long for the next volume.
The best thing about this manga is that it combines both extreme silliness (ex. Dante saying shit like “You might even get knocked up from all the loads I’ll pump into you”) with serious topics.
Beyond the romance and the smut, at the heart of this novel is the idea of who belongs and who is deemed as being an other. This particular mafia family is divided into the “pure bloods” and the “branded” (immigrants). They can’t see eye to eye because some are dedicated to tradition while others desire to forge a new future. Dante and Gino exist at the crux of this, and the story explores the injustice of painting a whole group of people under an unsavory brush.
There’s absolutely humor and lightness in this story, but it’s balanced as well by its message of the importance of treating others as worthy of kindness and respect.
I’m just devastated by the ending of this volume because, despite knowing Dante genuinely loves Gino, what felt like a happy resolution was set on fucking fire. It’s made all the worse by the knowledge that Dante had to work so hard to get Gino to open up…and he went ahead and fucked it up anyway. If I were in Gino’s shoes, I’d be absolutely livid. It’s clear that it’s hard for Gino to open up, so obviously Dante’s (perceived) betrayal is likely to hit hard. I truly want to give Dante the chancla 🩴 A chancla right to the face for playing with my boy Gino like that. I know he didn’t actually want to hurt him…but can you imagine? You confess your love to a man, and then your house is set on fire and he goes on and disappears? I’d be FUMING!

Das Cover sieht nicht danach aus, aber das Buch hat überraschend viel Story und Worldbuilding, dafür dass es einfach nur ein Yakuza-BL sein soll :D ich bin sehr überrascht. Und nachdem ich jetzt nochmal den Titel des Mangas gelesen habe, überrascht mich das Ende nicht, was IN EINEM ECHT GEMEINEN CLIFFHANGER ENDET!
Jedenfalls ja, der Manga hat ne spannende Story über zwei Mafia-Unterbosse, die ständig im Clinch liegen und ziemlich heftig aneinander geraten, während beide möglicherweise der nächste Boss sein sollen - alles weitere wäre ein ziemlicher Spoiler :D nur soviel, das "Geheimnis" ist nicht Schwulsein oder so, sondern etwas viel wichtigeres und storylastigeres.
Dazu kommt ein zwar sehr 0815 Mafia-Gedöns in einer italienischen Hafenstadt zwischen Liberalen (Pro-Migration-Ausländer) und den Reinblütern (Only-Italiener-Fraktion), die beide in der gleichen Mafia sind - ergo Rassismus etc. ist stark vorhanden, was dem ganzen eine tiefere Story verleiht.
Ich bin wirklich gespannt, wo es hingeht, denn wie gesagt, das Ende kam überraschend und ... hrgn, ich will mehr wissen.
Einzig ein kleines Manko ist, das es mal zensiert und mal nicht ist? Als ob jemand vergessen hat, alle Seiten zu "unzensieren", dann die ersten SExszenen sind voll unzensiert, später haben wir wieder Zensurbalken in weiß drüber???? Das war n wenig dämlich.

troppe informazioni tutte in una volta senza abbastanza tempo per elaborarle o capirle. all'inizio si viene buttati nel pieno della storia senza abbastanza informazioni sui protagonisti e questo rende difficile affezionarcisi per bene, cosa che sarebbe invece accaduta concentrandosi un pochino di più sui loro pensieri ed emozioni in maniera più approfondita.
nonostante questo c'è comunque la curiosità di sapere cosa accadrà nel prossimo volume...

May 3, 2026It's a little angsty and has a twist I wasn't expecting and I was to read more. One sided enemy's to lovers. Dante's POV was really sweet from when they were kids. Honestly, I was surprised by how the plot evolved as we went but it never felt too fast.
I liked this a lot and I want to read more. Also, the art is nice.
5/6 stars cause I immediately looked to see if vol 2 was out.

Hay algo en el dibujo que me recuerda a Vassalord pero sin lugar a dudas es una historia con su propia esencia y con subtramas que con lo que pasa actualmente… da para debate. 10 de 10 la pasé genial leyendo el tomito.

Don’t give up on Kuma Press. Yes, their books are delayed, pre-order release dates pushed all the way back but this is my third Kuma purchase, the book was delayed and I am not disappointed.
This book is pretty. I like that Kuma uses dust jackets with prints, character info or designs on the interior cover. The artwork is great and the book is thick. This isn’t a short, filmsy volume.
I enjoyed the story! It’s timely - dealing with immigrant issues, who do we accept in our communities, heritage, legacy and xenophobia. It ticked my other boxes for great artwork, good story, gangsters in love and good fashion (Gino’s bob was bobbing and those garters, yessss!) and a good mystery.
I highly recommend this one. Looking forward to the next volumes, delays or not.

This is extremely plot heavy so it took me a bit longer to get through it. I got a bit lost in the sauce in some of the mafia details, but I'm looking forward to how things will progress in the second volume.

Okay, der Trope war eigentlich schnell klar: Enemies to Lovers. Ich muss auch sagen, dass ich die erste Hälfte des Bands sehr zäh fand.
Gino und Dante führen jeweils eine Fraktion an und sind fast schon Feinde. Aber Gino hat ein Geheimnis, und oh Überraschung, Dante kommt dahinter. Natürlich nutzt Dante das schamlos aus. Denn hatte er nicht schon immer ein Auge auf Gino geworfen? Wir bekommen also einige schöne, prickelnde Panels zu sehen, die das Fujoshi-Herz direkt höher schlagen lassen.
Auf jeden Fall erweist sich Dante mehr als einmal als Retter in der Not. Und der Rivalkampf? Fast schon Geschichte, nachdem Dante Gino den Vortritt lässt und sich zurückzieht. Gino ist natürlich jetzt total verwirrt von den unterschiedlichen Signalen und will dem Ganzen auf den Grund gehen.
Bis kurz vor Schluss dachte ich, dass ich den zweiten Band sicher nicht lesen werde. Aber dann kam dieser Twist, der vielleicht erahnbar war, den ich aber nicht kommen gesehen habe. Jetzt will ich natürlich wissen, wie es weitergeht. Ich hoffe allerdings, dass der zweite Band etwas mehr Spannung bietet.

I see why this one is a sleeper hit, at least on twitter lmao. This volume and series setup is packed to the brim with tropes, but still contains a very interesting story and interesting characters. Compelling enough for me to care much more about the story/ world/ characters than the actual sex lmao, which was kinda spicy? Described by one of the mc’s in the book itself as masochistic, so. Not crazy about the dubcon, but have definitely seen worse. Also all of the characters in this are so hot, oh my lord. But some of the bodies/ dicks look a lil weird I cannot lie loool.
Interesting overall, and I liked how the ending set up for the next volume. Looking forward to see what happens.

Was ich anfangs für eine typische „Rivals to lovers“ Story mit italienischem Mafia-Setting hielt, entwickelte sich schnell zu einer spannenden Geschichte mit überraschender Tiefe und einem fiesen Plottwist/Cliffhanger am Ende, sodass ich mir umgehend Band 2 bestellen musste. Der Manga-Reihenauftakt „Betrayers Love Song“ sorgt mit einem ansprechenden Zeichenstil, jeder Menge Humor und dynamischer Action für richtig gute Unterhaltung und macht Lust auf mehr. Die Geschichte hat großes Potenzial, das sich in den Folgebänden hoffentlich noch mehr entfalten kann. Der Manga kommt außerdem mit einer ordentlichen Portion Spice, der sehr explizit dargestellt, aber keinesfalls Schwerpunkt der Handlung ist.

Very, very cute one shot. It had great pacing and was funny. I smiled the whole time. It was perfect. The characters were very sweet but also had struggles. They were opposites but were perfect for each other!!

最近看的單行本裡比較有意思的一本，在推上看到第一話覺得設定挺對口味的，cp不是我最吃的那一種但關係挺浪漫的，看到最後就明白為什麼標題叫裏切り者のラブソング！

Un rivals to lovers perfecto. La trama, el romance, los dibujos, el diseño de los personajes, el spice. Buenísimo.
