I wish I have read this book two years ago, while taking my first Investigative Journalism class. It is a great help for an aspiring investigative journalist, especially if he or she is from the Balkans. It is an insightful book with excerpts and examples from notorious investigations in countries like Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria or Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, at the end of each chapter there is an exercise to help you assimilate the information better. A must-read, this all I can say.
" One major problem facing Balkan journalists, therefore, is that there is so much to investigate, making it often difficult to decide where one should start".
