Sick and Twisted #2

All Hallows Game

Rate this book
Nightmare wants me broken, and she'll use the men I love to break me

Death. Misery. Torment. The three gods I was cursed to marry when a cult took over my med school's Halloween party. I've experienced each one of those traits in the past the death of my best friend, the misery of being unable to save him, and the torment of knowing the murders are far from over.

Nightmare thinks she's won. She's driven a Cat-sized wedge between Death, Miz, and Tor, but I refuse to let that power-crazed psychopath win. But Ford's End is more dangerous than ever, and with no way off the island, my surviving friends and I have no choice but to obey Nightmare and plan her downfall in secret.

But Nightmare has planned this game for hundreds of years and she has more than one trick up her sleeve, with more cruel surprises for me. Someone close to me is helping her torment us. Another friend raised her from the dead. And a third is tasked with killing me.

If I'm going to survive, I'll need all three of my deadly husbands. The only issue? Two of them hate me, and the other isn't sure his feelings are real.

All Hallows Game is a dark paranormal romance with psycho gods, a snarky heroine who finds her inner badass, twisted romance, and a secret society of sadists. Expect twists, turns, MFMM queer rep, and enough spice to make your kindle steam.

Nightmare is still playing havoc.

After the end of the last book, Cat is feeling alone without her 3 men and everytime she wants to tell them it's not true, her mouth bleeds and pain in her head prevents her from doing it....

And the loss of her best friend hits both her and honey hard.

Its a case of really not knowing who to trust anymore. Anyone can be coerced to do Nightmares biding and it's too late for them to realise it's happened when it does.

The curse is lifted but now there's a monster terrorising the island. Tearing people apart and causing fear to run free among everyone. Again.. Who can they trust....

And when finally realising what has happened to her brother, Cat thinks of places to try to find him and needs to have back up...

But at the memorial for Byron, it's like deja vu. The lights flicker and she can't find Honey....

Still a read that kept me turning the pages, altho sometimes I did find myself scan reading which isn't a good sign. Still good twists, but not sure how long this can stretch out.

I'm on book 3 now and I think this would be a great book, length wise to end on but I don't know....

Here we go. After the events of the first book I knew All Hallows Game was gonna be one big ball of heartache and I was right. Everyone is miserable, Cat and Miz are hurting the most. There is angst then there is this. I hated seeing the wedge between Cat and her guys and they hated it just as much. The only saving grace was that the guys weren't complete twatwaffles
I just wanted to scream the truth to them.

Okay. So when are these people gonna stop pretending everything is normal when bodies continue to drop, deadly magic is abound, something is lurking, and the ominous feeling of Nightmare is in every breath they take? So... this book took a turn that I didn't see coming until it was too late. Leigh took the story in such an unexpected direction, that no one could have guessed it. The mysteries are piling up and I have more than a few questions.

Oh, All Hallows Game was fantastic, it still had that dark atmospheric setting that screams the perfect fall read. It was filled with heartbreak, drama, betrayal, and mystery and had a killer plot twist. That ending left my eyes bugging out of my head. The wait for All Hallows Trick is going to be too long.

Leigh Kelsey can put another mark on their wall because they have done it again. This book is another masterpiece, one that I just couldn't put down for the life of me.

The pure hell the Cat goes through. She is put through a new kind of wringer. Not only is she forced to lose those she loves the most, she is betrayed by one of them. Then, if that's not enough, she ends up being turned into a pawn in this game. But, all this is just that start of Cat's story.

Nightmares game is death. Miz and Tor are miserable and broken and in their own hell without their bride. They are struggling with their new reality.

I do love the spice that is in this book, the betrayal, the nightmare fuel, the twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is perfect for this time of the year.

So much more happens in this book happens, though. I'm not going to give the entire game away, I'm not even going to tell you all the players. For that, you'll have to enter “All Hallow's Game” for yourself, if you dare. This is book 2 in the Sick and Twisted Series.

Oh my goodnesssssssss! Leigh did it again, another masterpiece that has me speeding through and literally unable to put it down!
Cat definitely goes through the ringer in All Hallows Game. Forced to lose her loves, betrayed by someone she loves dearly, and turned into a pawn was just the start of Cat's story. Nightmare has so much in store for her terror and it's only just begun.
Death, Tor and Miz are heartbroken without their bride...struggling with their new reality all the while dealing with Nightmare and her games.
There is sooooo much that happens that you will not want to miss!
The love, spice, nightmares, betrayl, and twists will have you on the edge of your seat!

All Hallows Game is book 2 in The Sick and Twisted series. In this book things don't seem to be getting any better with Nightmare still causing problems for Cat, Death, Tor and Miz. Only with all of that going on around them they still manage to mind some broken bridges between all of them with some very steamy scenarios. We also get some much needed background on Miz which wasn't a happy read but it did clear up some unanswered questions.

My flaming word that ending though? Jaw droppingly good. Gimme, gimme book 3 now because I'm dying to get my hands on it now.

All Hallows Game picks up with a at right after the first book, and with it we continue down the rabbit hole. Cat continues to develop as a character and come across intriguing mysteries instead of solutions to her problems. Leigh Kelsey adds great great interior dialogue to Cat’s thoughts and I loved the twists in the story and how she reconnects with her men. The continued intrigue and murder mystery storyline is continuities to build and as soon as I finished it I wanted to know more! I can’t wait for the next book.

I love this series, the twists and turns in the book made my head spin. The characters are brilliantly written and there are so many betrayals here, you just don't know who you can trust. Anyone could be being controlled by Nightmare, it was great learning more about what had happened to Misery during their first encounter. Nightmare is truly a totally evil nightmare that you just can't wake up from. Several storyline threads are completed but even more open up. I cannot wait for the third book

What an ending!!!

This book was just as fantastic as the first but made my anxiety reach an all time high lol. Are they ever going to get a break from the bad things that keep happening? And don’t get me started on Nightmare … grrr she has to get her comeuppance eventually.

With all the action and suspense I got through this in no time. It was a great read and that ending …. What a cliffhanger to take you into the next book. Can’t wait for that!!!

Great storyline and amazing characters

This book ends in a cliffhanger as well as the first installment and it is a whole YEAR till the last book is finished! If I had checked first I would not have started the series. So disappointed. When all books are done I will try to remember to read it all again. It is a great story and I would have Loved it.

I enjoyed this second book in the series, again leaving us with a cliffhanger ending.
Great storyline that picks up straight from book one.
Great character development, looking forward to see how it all plays out.
There was suspense, action an plenty of spice.
Without spoiling anything, I am guessing the 4th to be wrath or violence.

I am enjoying the development of the characters, and the development of the storyline. I wish there was more plot and a little bit less of the spicy scenes. The spicy scenes between the characters are awesome and amazing, however there's more of that than there is of the plot and I feel like the story is getting lost.

Second book in the spoilers and we knew that it couldn’t be left with Miz & Tor left out in the cold so to speak … no spoilers, but we do find out more of what happened to Miz the first time that Halloween was called and as usual we have a few twists and plenty of hot raunchy sex
