THESE TWO OMG from the very beginning they had so much chemistry it was insane. Every single interaction between them left me wanting more. Every glance, every word that they exchanged just felt like foreplay with all the chemistry these two had.
Their story is a bit bumpy definitely a lot of ups and down. One thing about them is not they couldn't stay away. Every chance that they had they was getting physical. I liked how even though it happened A LOT it didn't feel repetitive. It just felt like the more sex they have the more chemistry and connection they get.
I loved seeing both of them getting possessive and jealous over one another. Her family being so supportive of them and basically treating him like family had my heart melting.
There's also other stuff going on besides the romance that definitely had me on edge. Just bc I knew something was bound to happen I just wasn't sure when. Some things took me by surprise and that ending is gonna give me a mini heart attack ngl.
Super enjoyed this one definitely recommended if you love age gap, shifter Romance, a man obsessed and a badass fmc.
Reckless Beta is the 3rd book in the Shadowed Heirs series but can be read as a standalone.
This book was so fun and easy to read. I enjoyed the banter between FMC Andie and MMC Nash. I liked how their relationship developed.
The pacing of the book was mostly good, but the ending felt a bit rushed. There were a lot of spicy scenes, and while those were well written, I would have liked to see a bit more of the plot too instead of mostly spice.
For a wolf shifter book, there wasn’t that much about pack dynamics or werewolves, and at times I almost forgot that they were, in fact, wolf shifters.
I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, so I didn’t have any background for the characters or the world itself, but it didn’t really affect my reading experience.
The book ends with a cliffhanger, and there are a lot of questions left unanswered. I’m interested to see where the story goes next.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
DAMN!! Andie and Liam’s story starts off with one hell of a sinfully delicious bang (LOL) and doesn’t slow down one bit. It is packed with action, suspense, violence, spice, passion and an intense and undeniable love between two amazing characters. I devoured every single moment and never wanted it to end.
Andie is such a feisty and bratty young woman. Four years after an amazing and explosive one night stand with Liam, feelings start getting stronger again and the pull to be together once more is getting harder to deny. The attraction, desire and cravings are becoming impossible to resist.
The banter between Andie and Liam was funny, sweet and witty. But the emotional turmoil and sexual tension between them was palpable and just oozed off the pages. It was explosive!! So spicy and so hot!!
I absolutely loved this story! It was intense, emotional and deliciously spicy keeping me on the edge of my seat with my heart beating erratically and my lady parts aching! And that ending WOW!!
I’m convinced CJ Primer is the best shifter romance writer ever! There’s not one book of hers that I haven’t loved.
Reckless Beta was so much fun to read! Nash and Andie have the best banter and the spice level is perfection. She is the fuel to his fire and together they’re explosive.
I loved watching Nash’s character development. Having read all of CJ’s books, I remember when we first got a glimpse of Nash. Seeing how his story was woven together with such care is always the sign of an amazing author!
Andie’s spunk and sass brought me so much joy throughout the entire book. As did the scenes with her parents. Alpha Reid has always been my favorite, so having those snippets of Reid and Serena as parents was really sweet.
If you haven’t read any other CJ Primer books, do yourself a favor and start with Alpha Gray for the fullest reading experience!

Another book I couldn’t put down and read in one day. I loved the pace of this book and the fact there was a less of a slow burn. Cliffhanger got me but I can see where it’s going and I know it will be worth it. Everything is starting to tie together, you get more understanding of things that have been said in previous books.
Andie and Nash were an interesting a couple, I like how their dynamic was different. Less angst and pining kept me hooked to want to see what happened and what hell week would be like.

I loved every single minute and was so sad when it was over. This is definitely one of my all time favs that C.J has written !! This book is action packed, full of chefs kiss * spice , has the BEST banter and soo much more ! Y’all have to read this series ! You will not be disappointed ! 🫶🏼 it was everythingg!!

Book 3/5. Suggest to read in order and also to read the six pack series first. Another amazing book!! Childhood friends to lovers to he leaves and she “hates” him to lovers. Great banter!
Recap: Andie is the only daughter of Aloha Reid and Luna Serena. She is a leader of the security squad like all her friends and she’s the best shot there is. Liam Nash is the son of a woman who died in the six pack series from the Shadow packs attacks and his father Dean Porter was always a piece of shit after he got her pregnant before finding his mate so the alpha and luna always took a special care and love for him, he was family. The problem is Nash has trauma and even with their love he felt like an outsider and that he didn’t fully belong anywhere, which wasn’t true. He was a little older but still grew up with all the alpha and pack kids, but when Andie turned 18 all bets were off. After agreeing to watch out for her and too many lemon drops temptation was given into and he took her V, which she happily gave! When she woke up he was gone, and when I say gone I mean left the pack and hid to not tell his alpha he deflowered his daughter and went to a training for 4 years in Chicago. Alpha Reid called Nash back to offer him the Beta position, but he has to think about it, the truth is still hidden, and just then who sees him but Andie and she is pissed. She tried to blow off steam at the shooting range but of course he follows her and it only makes her anger worse. She is pissed about him just abandoning her like that after what they did, but he being a brat and him with his short fuse they do it hard and fast, well that wasn’t planned. But this time she leaves him, guess he will learn how it feels. He comes back and helps the squad prepare for the hunters with the shooting but she doesn’t know and he bombards her training sessions, she is pissed and shows off her skills to shut him up but they still aren’t working great together. They have a few spotting of hunters hiding in the woods scouting but they continue to monitor and implement changes to protect the packs. Tension continues to build between Andie and Nash and all the girls tease her about it, and it doesn’t take long for it to break and they agree to hook up but keep it secret. He has a lot of trauma and pain from losing his mom young and his dad being a piece of shiz. He tends to f the pain away and she lets him by losing control in the bedroom but he still always feels alone even when all the ppl around him love and care for him so much. When they are both stubborn and he acts like he can’t do this bc of her parents she is pissed and goes on a date with Tristan her friend/another soon to be Alpha. Her brother Archer figured it out but he admits it and is pissed she would do this, but he kinda deserved it. He crashes the date and claims her in front of ppl, and even if she loves it she is mad he has to be like that and push her away all the time. They agree to be together and he is gonna talk to her dad…and he and her mom are elated and always he was part of their family, and he finally has things begin to click. He then accepts the Beta position and on the full moon run they learn they are fated mates…if only he didn’t leave for 4 years! But just as they come together Nash is shot in the chest and they are under attack. The hunters attack their pack and Tristan’s pack and a few lives are lost but thankfully their gun training helped. After Nash was shot Andie had to dig out the silver bullet laced with wolfsbane so he would be okay, and thankfully he was able to still shoot to take out a few hunters, esp for his mate, and his rival and him have a moment for respect and the pack. Once the enemy has been eliminated Nash lost too much blood and collapses. He recovers quick after his dad of all ppl gives him blood. Tristan was shot twice and a few members of each pack were lost but the defeated half the hunters from what Javi knows from previous tracking. Cheyennes cookies counteract wolfsbane great and really help in recovery. Nash recovers and gets the respect from his dad continues now that he’s beta but it’s more than that and he will take it as peace. They finally are able to seal their bond and mark each other. They implement new security tactics since the alert and Skelton crew didn’t work really on the full moon run, so things are to change. With all that happened as Avery and Tom were sent to change a damaged camera, she is taken!

Book Description: My life has never been perfect, but up until four years ago, I had a pretty good thing going.
I held rank as an enforcer for the Stillwater pack. I was close with the pack’s Alpha and Luna, having been practically raised by them in place of my dead mother and absentee father. I was in line to become the pack’s lead enforcer, a prestigious position that others would kill for.
One impulsive night was all it took to completely derail my life’s trajectory. One night with the Alpha’s daughter, who was both far too young for me and completely off-limits. One night of giving into temptation, knowing it was something I could never come back from.
Rather than sticking around to face the consequences, I took off. I left town and relocated to Chicago with the intention of never returning, but I should’ve known my past would catch up to me eventually.
At least, that’s why I thought I was called back. Instead, I was offered the rank of Beta within our pack because Alpha Reid still doesn’t know what I did. He still doesn’t know the truth about why I left, and he definitely doesn’t know that as soon as I returned from Chicago, I fell right back into bed with his only daughter.
This secret we’re keeping could ruin everything, but I can’t stop, and it’s only a matter of time before it comes to light.
BWBH Review: I love a good shifter romance, and Reckless Beta was better than good.
After sleeping with Andie on her eighteenth birthday, Nash heads to Chicago to clear his head…for four years. When his Alpha calls him back to the pack, Nash is offered the position of Beta. But after four years, can Nash fall back into a pack where Andie is the Alpha’s daughter?
The first thing I want to point out is that C.J. Primer includes a map of shifter territories and pack family trees. I love it when authors include details like this—it takes the reading experience to the next level.
Reckless Beta is a medium-burn romance. I would have liked to see longer spice scenes, but there is a lot of spice there (included in 11 chapters if I counted correctly). Reckless Beta is perfect for readers who enjoy MCs fighting their feelings, a strong, independent FMC, and an MMC that’s the perfect blend of brooding and protection.
Thank you to C.J. Primer and Unalive Promotions for the ARC.
⭐️ARC REVIEW⭐️ 5 ⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶.5 Spice Reckless Beta by @c.j.primer 🌶Releases April 30th on KU🌶
Thank you @c.j.primer for the Advanced Reader Copy. This is the 3rd book in the Shadowed Heir Series and I have been dying for Andie's book since the series started!!!!
Andie and Nash are an Inferno!!! They are EVERYTHING!!!! Andie and Nash have an amazing chemistry that makes for some really explosive scenes and banter that is off the charts! This is by far C.J.'s spiciest book yet and I am here for it!
Nash is the broody MMC, with a broken past, dirty mouth and is loyal to a fault. So loyal that he ran away from the only family he knew just because he was worried they would hate him for "deflowering" their Pack Princess. He is everything Andie needs and more and was made for the Role of Beta.
Andie is the Pack Princess who encompasses both her dad Alpha Reid and mom Luna Serena. She is a firecracker with Red hair just like her mother, stubborn like both her father and mother and a bad ass with firearms. There's the saying that little girls grow up to marry men like their fathers... well naughty Andie certainly needed someone tame her similar to how her father tamed her mother.
From start to finish there is angst, spice, drama and action. @c.j.primer did not disappoint and of the Shadowed Heir Series this is my absolute Fav. Especially bc in true Luna C.J. fashion she throws you curve balls up until the end!
Trust me when I say if you do read Reckless Beta as a standalone... you will be drawn into a universe that you won't want to escape and will be coming back for more!!!!If you have not read any of the Shadowed Pack series or the Six Pack Series, I Highly Recommend you do so!

This book was AWESOME! Nash and AJ. After a night they shared together at AJ's 18th birthday, Nash leaves town, ashamed of his actions and because as he says he 'deflowered' the Alphas's daughter. I mean that word had me screaming WOW just from the blurb. Four years after he comes back and the attraction they both feel is explosive. These two couldn't keep their hands for themselves. They were going at it every other chapter and yeah let me tell you this: From the very first chapter. And I was left wondering how C.J. manages to combine both a good plot with so much spice! There is nothing I didn't like in this book but I will like to note the things I loved. -The deflowered word, as I mentioned before. It just stuck and I don't know why it has such an impact. Probably because that described exactly what Nash felt. -The tension and bantering between those two. -The times AJ was trying to convenience herself that it was just physical and not about catching feelings. Ok girl you persuaded me !! Haha #NOT -The moment Nash found out about AJ's date with another and went all Alpha possessive mode and went to grab his girl from the other guy. His next actions, claiming and acknowledging his feelings in front of her parents gained him many many points. Good job Nash! You honor the trousers you wear man! -The full moon event. And how should I explain that without spoilers? Ok? I'll try. We all expect something in such books (I mean the werewolf kind of books) and then that happens and I; 'm like cheering for them and just seconds next I'm blinking like what the heck? What just happened here? Yeah, that part had me fighting with my own emotions and I swear CJ made it from the Zenith to Nadir in just a few moments. Perfectly executed! -I also liked the family feeling Nash had towards the end. It is nice to belong somewhere especially when you feel neglected like Nash. -The end: Well it ends with a cliffhanger as a girl, a vicious one, goes missing. I have so many theories and speculations about her. Can't wait for her story. I highly recommend this book.
This is my 4th book from C.J., and let me tell you, her books are just more and more intriguing.
I already loved the other books I read from her, but somehow Andie's bratty attitude and Nash's dominant side made it impossible for me, not to adore them both.
The MCs grew up together, and although they never acted on it, they both had feelings for each other. Until Andie's 18th birthday, that changed. And it made Nash bolt to Chicago... broke Andie's heart in the process. Until one day, Alpha Reid asked Nash to come back home...
This story is also a heartbreaking one and liberating in the way Andie acts. She is a strong woman, who doesn't take sh!t from anyone. She was a brat towards Nash but I loved that mouth on her.
Nash lost his mom in the war against the Shadow Alpha and his followers... Serena, Andie's mom, took him in, and from that moment on they considered each other family. He was so afraid of losing the only family he ever knew that he fled to avoid it. Hurting Andie and himself in the process.
I loved their chemistry so much, there was so much sexual tension between the two, and sometimes I felt hot just to read about their antics. I loved how they finally admitted to themselves the feelings that were always there.
Also, it was interesting to 'meet' the hunters for the first time since the series started. And that threat felt real and so close this time.
I am still in shock about the ending and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series.
I don't know what else to say other than to read this book, you're gonna love it!
Andie & Nash grew up together and had a crush on each other. They tried to control but on Andie's 18th birthday they gave into their desires & had one night stand which made Nash leave the pack and bolt to Chicago as he said "I deflowered Pack's Princess ". This broke Andie's heart as he left without a word & goodbye.
Four Years after Nash returned to Alpha's call & was offered Beta's position. He had to work with Andie in Firearm training as they were facing Threats from Hunters. They met again & couldn't resist and couldn't keep their hands off each other. They always ended up being intimate🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵
I like Andie's Sassy & Snarky attitude. She's wild & fiery and always pushes all of Nash's Buttons and make him lose control. Both were denying and pretending that it's just physical with no feelings attached but they knew it's a Lie. Nash thought he's too old, damaged & feeling less with past baggage and Andie was saving her heart from breaking again but one day Nash got jealous & felt he will lose her and that made him realise that "She's The One" and he opened his heart to her. Andie accepted all of his sharp edges, extremes & loved him.
I Love Bikering & Bantering And Explosive Chemistry between ' Nasty Nash ' & His ' Little Brat AJ ' ❤️🔥❤️🔥
I highly recommend this book if you like Age Gap Werewolf Romance with lots of Spice and awesome storyline ❤️🔥
🖤𝑴𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘🖤 C.J. Girl you have done it again!! Another amazing book written by you!! Every single time I read your books you never disappoint never!!!! If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would give it ♾️/5 because that is how good it was, at least it was to me!!! Like the amount of times this book had me on so many levels of emotions like it’s not even funny! I was just an emotional wreck😭😂 But when I tell you this book was Spicy🌶️ asf I am not lying first spicy scene starts in chapter 1!! And I loved every second of it!!! But let’s talk about Andie & Nash who absolutely belong together!! I loved all the bickering and banter between these two!! I absolutely lived for it, and how he is so protective and possessive over her even though he says he shouldn’t feel those things for her but still does it anyway, is literally everything!! And her saying it’s just them having FWB and no feelings involved but obviously they lied!! 😂😂 but I better stop there before I say any spoilers!! But 10/10 I totally recommend this book especially if you love a good PNR Romance, wolf shifter book, they are fated mates, with an age gap (8 years), with tons of bickering and banter then this if the book for you! You will not regret reading it!! I do recommend reading The Six-Pack Series first and then The Shadowed Heirs Series to understand everything!!!🐺🖤💚💚💚
This book consumed my life and was absolute perfection! I had so much fun reading every minute of it.
There's nothing I love more than a broody MMC with a broken past, a dirty mouth 😮💨 and Liam Nash encompassed all of it! I loved everything about Andie (AJ) Raines. She was fierce, stubborn, a bad ass at the range, knew how to push all of Nash's buttons, and challenged him. Andie saw through Nash's composed mask he used to hide his true emotions from the world. While Nash was intuned with her emotions. To say I'm obsessed with them is an understatement.
The banter between AJ and Nash was so fun to read, and the tension was palpable. The spice was top tier! The spice was very well written and made sense for AJ and Nash's explosive chemistry. In my opinion, the spice did not take away from the plot, and I think CJ did a great job balancing both.
Reckless Beta has easily become one of my favourites and is up there for me with Alpha Chase and Broken Bonds IYKYK 🖤
If you love Shifter romances with a great plot, action packed with great world building, character development, loveable side characters, and spice, you need to read the Shadow Heirs series. If you really want to deep dive into their world, start with their parent's books, the Six-Pack series. You won't be disappointed.
❤️🔥fated mates 🐺 wolf shifters 🖤 age gap (8 years) 💝 childhood crush 🫠 one night stand 🌦 grumpy/sunshine 🫦 bickering & banter 🥺 troubled pasts 🔥 high angst 🌶 steamy AF
Reckless Beta is book three in the Shadowed Heirs Series. I fell in love with this love story between Andie and Nash.
Andie had some bratty tendencies but I get why she acted the way she did sometimes. She feels like she has to keep proving herself to the "men" of the group. And once she finally thinks she has, she gets pushed aside and "replaced" by someone else. She also has some trust and abandonment issues when it comes to Nash. She really does work hard to keep her heart locked up and keep her emotional distance from Nash, but sometimes it isn't as easy as one thinks. She was definitely a strong individual and I am glad we got to see her in a new light. We got to see her bad @$$ and amazing! And we finally get the answer to why Andie doesn't like lemon drops.
Nash was a hot, hot, hot man. However, he really needed to think through his actions before he did something. He was a good guy, but when it came to matters of the heart, he really needed to think things through properly. I get some of his actions. He thought to have one thing he had to give up another. He didn't want to lose the family he had made for himself. But he just needed to realize sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series as each book just keeps getting better and better.
I swear, CJ just keeps one-upping herself with every book she writes.
From the very first chapter, Andie and Nash bring the heat, and they just keep getting hotter and hotter as they go. There was never a dull moment in this story, and not just between the sheets. In this book, we got to see firsthand the very real threat that are the hunters, but we also got to see the crew having fun and enjoying themselves.
I absolutely loved AJ's zero fucks given attitude and her "catching orgasms, not feelings" mantra that she tried, but utterly failed to live by. And who could blame her when Liam Nash, her childhood crush, is the one giving her those orgasms. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally figured out who Nash is. His character development was beautifully executed, and I shed happy tears when he finally had that aha moment.
In this book, CJ didn't only tease us about the rest of the Shadowed Heirs, she also introduced us to some new characters who I can't wait to get to know better. And that ending will have me anxiously waiting for the next installment of this series.
Quote: “If you want sweet and gentle, I’m not your guy. But that’s not how you want to be fucked, is it? That’s not how you need it.”
Loved this book! @cj knocks another one out of the park ❤️🔥
Book 3 in the Shadowed Heirs series and we meet Andie (FMC) the Alphas daughter who has always had a crush on her older brothers friend, Nash (MMC). Not really realising that feelings are reciprocated, they spend one hot night together on Andie’s 18th birthday and then misplaced guilt leads Nash to leave….for 4 years.
When these two reunite the chemistry is palpable and sparks fly instantly, ultimately leading to many a spicy moment 🥵
The banter between the two characters is excellent and the development, unbeknownst to them, of their relationship is beautiful. I especially liked Nash’s emotional journey & healing.
The full moon ‘event’ had me on the edge of my seat and the way that the ending is building towards book four seems like it could be particularly vicious … Amazing!
I’ve posted 2 of my favourite moments in quotes (swoon 💓) so if you don’t want spoilers, don’t look past picture one.
A brilliant book, a brilliant series, a brilliant author. Check it out!!
Alright. Ok..Ok... I'm ok. 😅 So, I typically finish a book and bust out a review, but I sat with this one a bit because this book tried to unalive me with all the feels. Yeah, C.J. Primer.. trying to give me a heart attack 😳- but I'm not actually complaining because I loved it ☺️. Andie and Nash are 🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥. I mean, on their own they are fantastic and when you put them together.. all the 🎆. I enjoyed this pairing so much that I didn't even mind MOST of the times when my heart just hurt so much 😭. This book is filled with action and drama and sass (well, she Andie is her mother's daughter 🤷♀️😂) and I loved it so much😍. You get an introduction into a pack from Chicago which will be explored in a later series that I'm so flipping excited to read now. It sounds like it's gonna be a bit dark and gritty and I'm always down for that 😉. Do you need to read all of CJ's books in order to pick this one up? Nope. Should you? Yep!- it's so fun to see characters you once loved and how they are doing and watch things come full circle, but ultimately read this on its own if you want and you will love it too! 😘
I just finished Reckless Beta, which is book three in the Shadowed Heirs series by C.J. Primer and it is by far her spiciest book yet. The sizzling hot heat between our MMC Nash and our FMC Andie “AJ” is explosive from chapter 1. What I really loved about this book is that while it’s very spicy C.J. is able to build out a really wonderful love story. I really liked how vulnerable Nash is as an MMC and C.J. writes in such a way that you feel Nash’s struggle, as if it were your own. Don’t even get me started about our FMC AJ. She’s just phenomenal and so much like her mother I loved it. Like with the original six-pack series there is danger looming in the form of hunters and while this overarching storyline played a small part in the book, I really loved that the main focus was on the relationship building between Nash and AJ. These books just keep getting better and better and I cannot wait to see where C.J. takes us next.
Reckless Beta is a great addition to the Shadowed Heirs series and I’m so freaking excited for the next two books, highly recommend!

⭐️5/5. 🌶️5/5
Even though this is the third book in the series, you can read it as a standalone. But let's be honest, it wouldn't hurt starting from the very beginning. With how good this series is, trust me, you won't regret it. C.J. Primer did it with this one, holy!! I could not put the book down!! I feel like each book in the series keeps getting better. The banter and the love between Nash and Andie were 10/10. I loved the family parts, especially the banter or joking around with Andie's brothers. In some parts of the story, Nash did frustrate me (with how life played out for him, I can't blame him), but he did make it up in the best ways. If you know, you know (those who read the book lol). One is his dirty mouth, which is the best I've read. Sorry, Javi, I thought you were my book boyfriend out of the series, but Nash took that title 100%. I know I should probably wait until the series is finished to make my final decision, but it's Nash. He ate and left no crumbs. If you love a possessive, obsessed, and overly protective man, Nash is your guy. I'm sad to see Andie and Nash's story end, but I hope sometime soon we can see a bit of an epilogue of each couple when the series ends. I received this book as an arc for an honest review.

Andie and Nash
This story follows Nash and Andie. Both grew up together, and despite him being 8 yrs older they crush on each other. And the night of Andie’s 18th birthday they finally give in to their attraction. But shame made Nash leave the pack and go to Chicago. And in doing so he broke Andie’s heart. But 4 yrs later the Alpha’s call orders him back and Nash is offered the position as Beta. Being back in the same space they can’t resist each other. And every encounter ends the same. Nash never felt worthy of Andie with him being older and being damaged. And wanting the Alpha’s daughter he never thought he was allowed to. Andie is wild and sassy and she knows how to make Nash react and push his buttons. Both would like to think that what they have is just physical, but it is very clear that it isn’t true. And the day comes where Nash gets the feeling he could lose her and he finally accepts his feelings for her and that she is the one. That’s when he opens his heart for her and Andie willingly takes him just the way he is. With all the flaws. Their chemistry was over the top and the bickering and bantering really was something to look forward to. There is a cliffhanger and it leaves me very interested in what’s coming next.
@c.j.primer has done it again! I am so in love with this second gen series😍 Nash and Andie are just perfection! Andie is a spitfire and Nash just loves it. Thank you so much for the arc🫶🫶
Andie is the “princess” as most say. But on her 18th birthday she is ready for a fun and wild night. She ends up drunk and Nash is there to watch out for her with her brother. But when he leaves with another girl, Nash is responsible for getting her home. Andie wants more and asks him to take her v!rginity. When she wakes up Nash is gone. Now four years later he’s back because her father has called him home to help with the hunters. But not only that Andie and him have to work together.
The tension, the angst, the spice🥵 All of it was just so good!! I devoured this book and can’t wait for the next!🖤
What to expect: 🐺wolf shifters 💚fated mates 🐺age gap 💚grumpy/sunshine 🐺troubled pasts 💚forbidden 🐺dominant alpha energy 💚sassy FMC 🐺high angst 💚SO much spice!
Andie and Nash are hot! Imagine you grow up together, secretly crushing on each other for so long and on your 18th birthday you finally give into your attraction towards each other. I mean it doesn’t matter that he’s eight years older (you know that we all love some good age gap). For reasons only he knows he leaves the pack after that and you guys don’t see each other for four years. Life is as good as it can be, but when he comes back you realize the chemistry between you two is still as strong as it was the last time you saw each other. And that’s the perfect setup for absolute chaos and we all love it!! (Don’t you dare tell me otherwise)
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smut: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
CJ never let me down with her books and she didn’t do it this time either!! It feels like her writing gets better with every book we get and there is no unnecessary delaying of things. Go get this book, I promise you‘ll love it!!
I literally stayed up all night to finish this book. It’s currently 5:23am for me I finished reckless Beta around 4am went dumb looked at my ceiling for a while and then got up to go to gym because I needed get out all the uh build up Nash caused and it wasn’t an appropriate time to wake the husband.
I knew going into this book I wasn’t going to be disappointed , just the books description had me drooling. I love a main character relationship that isn’t all happy get go, I love the banter the fights the pushing each others buttons. The build up for this book was just delicious, like that first sip of a McDonald’s coke you know just perfectly satisfying and hits all the right spots, The moment he admits he knows my my, and then the restaurant… someone fan me I was on the edge of my seat.
Once again I vow that if you are into spicy shifter romances, if possessive werewolves are your thing you cannot go wrong with any of CJ Primers books
Okay, I finally finished reading Reckless Beta, took a few days because life. Right? Anyways, my girl has completely knocked it out of the damn park AGAIN!! 🌶️ The way these books can completely draw you in, make you feel emotions that, you know are real and valid, but about a book? Yes, yes. Emotions about a book are real and I totally get into the minds of these characters with the way they’re illustrated by C.J. and that should tell you about her true talent. Nash and Andie are not only HOT they’re fierce, protective and truly compliment each other the way a mate should. Not to spoil anything, but your heart will stop with the twists and turns we’ve been given. Thank you C.J. for trusting me with another ARC read it’s always an honor. This book releases in April 30th, you can preorder now, or download on kindle unlimited on release day. I promise you won’t regret it 🖤
Utterly obsessed with an age-gap romance & CJ smashes it in Reckless Beta with Nash and Andie. As always with her books, it’s a once you start you have to finish it kind of read!
Andie and Nash’s constant push and pull makes for explosive spicy scenes and chemistry so off the charts that you can feel through the book. I truly love their connection throughout the book. Their banter and character development is insane and I love it. Andie’s sassy and fierce personality complimented Nash’s possessive, troubled grumpy vibe and they truly balance each other so so well. It made it so easy and fun to read that you just wanted so much more of them!
Ending on a semi-cliffhanger/teaser for the next book, the continued story line throughout the series is getting juicy and intense and I’m so damn excited to see what’s in store for the next book!
Nash and AJ left it all on the table and I enjoyed every minute of it. This story was so good!! The characters were vibrant and engaging! I liked being able to feel immersed in the story just from how the details and minor things were handled. Even though we are in deep with Nash and AJ, we still get doses of the side characters enough that we feel like we know them. We care about them almost as much as the mains! This book is spicy too! Whew is it spicyyy! If you need your next shifter fix then this is definitely the book you need to pick up! The story is done so well that you can jump in with this book and not feel like you're missing out on the things from the previous books. I haven't read the previous books yet but best believe I will now!! I highly recommend this book!! You won't regret picking it up on April 30th!
The chemistry between Nash (MMC) and Andie (FMC) is so deliciously strong that you can't stop reading.
CJ's ability to not only craft an unforgettable word but give distinct and unique voices to her main characters and side characters makes every single one of her books suck you in and keep you trapped in the pages.
This story really got me in the feels with Nash's history and his intentions. Andie's reactions and way of guarding her feelings was so relatable that it was impossible not to root for these two's HEA.
I've made this sound like a sweet story, but it is anything but! There is drama, danger, and darker themes that keep you on your toes to the very last page.
Highly recommend this book, the first two stories in this series and the original Six Pack series by this author.
CJ is an incredible writer, but she’s really knocked it out of the park this time! AJ is snarky, emotional, and fierce- a woman I think many can relate to and will love. Nash keeps his cards close and his feelings even closer, but when he does open up, he is so swoooooony! Their relationship has tangible energy that’s explosive. The rest of the characters are woven in beautifully, showing the strong family connections, trauma experienced, and friendships of both AJ and Nash.
While the other stories incorporate strong emotions, this one definitely brought me to tears- that sense of abandonment and broken heart was so relatable. ❤️🩹🖤 If you’re looking for a story that can give you *all* the feels, make you laugh, has a ton of spice 🌶️, and connects to other storylines, you NEED to read this book!!
