A fast paced, short debut novella that's jam packed with smutty spice more than plot, but sometimes that just works! The multi-pov was great, as you got to know Violet, Landon, Maverick and Axel.

These characters are everything!
This was such a sweet story and the characters are totally gone for their girl it was so lush.
The only thing stopping this being a 5 star read is the end for me. I wish this book had been a bit longer so we could really see the depth of the characters a bit more. Plus the whole book had been building up with the counting! Plus to of had more of a development of Axel & Maverick and their sexual relationship would have been the cherry on top. Like was the kiss a Bi awakening? Was the licking part of it?

I'm genuinely lost for words, I mean, hot damn 🔥🔥 wasn't expecting it to be that spicy. This book got me hooked from the very first chapter. This book is short and very fast-paced, which I quite enjoy.
Landon, Axel, and Maverick are the most sizzling trio around! Landon, being Violet's stepbrother, and Axel and Maverick are his 2 best friends. They all want the same thing, and that is Violet. They always knew she was theirs to begin with, and no other guys would ever dare to come close to her. Until one day, James entered Violet's life, and they started dating. The guys would do anything to sabotage their relationship if it means they will get their girl back. Violet was always drawn to them. She tried to ignore her desires at the beginning but eventually gave in.
This book has a lot of banter, which I love. The amount of spice is 🙊. I think stepbrother romance has become one of my favourite tropes. I highly recommend this book if you want something short and fast-paced with lots of spice 🌶🌶🔥🔥

Rate: 1.5⭐, but I rounded it up
Nothing can convince me that there is actual love between FMC and MMCs; it feels like a mix of lust, obsession, manipulation, and a tiny bit of affection (maybe from Maverick, but even that is minimal). I feel bad for the author, but the messy writing style significantly impacted my rating. Looking forward to seeing your future works improve!

Such a great cast of characters
I love Letty with Landon and I adore Axel. Maverick was sweet but definitely my least favorite of them all I do love the pairings at the end and was so surprised at where she went with this. Only reason it was not five star was the beginning seemed a bit choppy and slow.
i reread this book and my rating went from a 4 to 5 star. i Just love these characters. i love the chemistry between them all individually and together. it flowed better this time and I'm not sure why but i want more like this

SPOILERS AHEAD… I really really wish I could give this a better rating
I loved the story line, loved the characters, and enjoyed the smut.
However there were a few things that definitely need to be fixed. Whoever edited this need to relook at it. There’s lots of grammar mistakes mainly with periods and a few other things like the sentence is worded wrong like one sentence had an I instead of an a.

Also the conclusion is cute but also leaves a lot of questions:
- the parents never had a final confrontation.
- mom at first seemed chill but slowly got mean and it didn’t give context on if she was always like this and just hid it in front of the husband, etc.
- mom and the fmc ex boyfriend insinuated that maybe they were sleeping together.
- Maverick and Axel becoming sexual with each other, there was no conversation about it afterwards or even if they were now dating/had feelings for each other, just that they started to get sexual with each other.
- There was never a conversation on of anyone was clean sti/std free, on birth control. It seemed they were raw dogging and she didn’t get pregnant nor did they even question it or say anything about it????
-time line wise the whole dating and moving out only took a few days, shouldn’t it have had more time to fully settle into their relationship? I wish the book had more to it as I really liked the characters
- also never gave a full decision on if they would legit move to the city or stay in the small town.
If the author reads this in no way am I hating on this, I really really enjoyed the book. It probably is one of my more favorite forbidden books, but like I said this needs to be worked on by maybe an arc team and an editor.

Hmm okay .. this one wasn’t too bad. I definitely liked the idea of this one. The stepbrother/sister trope with reverse harem involving his friends. I liked seeing how the different men treated her in their own way and seeing them adjust to all being together was interesting to read. This one did play on my pet peeve a little thou being back door play. I enjoy reading about it especially on reverse harem reads when it’s done right. This one kind of missed the mark on that thou. The biggest thing is the use of lube at the very very least and other fluids just aren’t going to cut it like with regular sex so lube is a must. Other than that there wasn’t much to the plot which is fine cause their relationship was the focus of the book. In terms of the spice, it would have to be a 5/5. It was basically all spice and the scenes were heavily descriptive. Overall, I think this one would have been better with a little more fleshing out to accomodate more chemistry building between them all like yes they have all always wanted her but it all started really quick and eventuated to love within days so it would have been nice to see the characters in other aspects of their lives then just the bedroom to really get a feel of their relationship growing. It still wasn’t a bad read if you were after something quick and super spicy and taboo. It’s a 2.5/5 read for me.

The story between Violet and her stepbrother - Landon - and his two best friends - Axel and Maddox - is fast paced and full of all the emotions that comes with a taboo, why choose, stepbrother romance. There is conflict, both within the group and from external sources, but it works well, and you leave with the satisfaction that the four are happy. And that bonus chapter? Dear goodness me, that was everything!
Part of me wishes this was longer, just so I could get to know the characters more, connect with them more, and understand their motivations a bit better, but I understand the constraints writing a novella holds.

Well.... this book had me wetter than sea world LOL.
This Novella was a steamy, fast paced, taboo romance, why choose, enemies to lovers that had me hooked and hot and heavy from the start. Yes the book was low plot but it had just enough to keep you going. I am not kidding when I say that you'll probably end up falling in love with Landon, Axel & Maverick... I also loved Violet the FMC she was fun, witty and very cheeky - they were all a beautiful combination together.
If you're looking for a quick spicy taboo romance then I highly recommend this book - the bonus chapter had to be one of my favourite parts of the book IYKYK.
Can't wait to read more books from this author!

I was sucked into this story as soon as I read the dedication and instantly knew I was in for a wild ride.
This novella is not your sweet cute romance. It’s an all consuming, extremely spicy, full steam ahead romance and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now here’s what I didn’t expect - a soft tear to come as I read this quote towards the end,
“You’re my first thought of the day & my last thought at night. You are the only thing I dream about. You, Violet, are all consuming.” Like seriously what a dreamboat!!!

Charming Violet is a why choose romance with the stepbrother and brothers best friend tropes, this book had me in an absolute chokehold and I finished this in one sitting. I had a feeling that I was thoroughly enj0y this book and I was not wrong. I loved each of the characters in this book and the spice was spicing. I would highly recommend picking this up.

This book has been on my TBR for a while and I wish I’d read it sooner. It is so so good. I adore the chemistry between Violet, Landon, Axel and Maverick. The book is 80% smut but it still has plenty of story as well. The spice is fantastically written and it feels realistic. I really want more of their story with just the day to day stuff.

A page turner from start to finish. There wasn't a minute I wasn't dying to take Letty's place. The only thing wrong with this book is that it ended. Can't wait to see what happens in Resisting Ivy... counting the days to release!!

Doormat FMC is relentlessly pursued by her manipulative, deceitful and creepily obsessive stepbrother - he seriously made my skin crawl - and his two cronies. No character development whatsoever, and "treacherous body syndrome" is such a repulsive trope.

Not so charming Violet. I couldn't stand the FMC, she was flaky and whiny and the comment about not wanting to do the dishes because feminism made me cringe. She came across as immature. The guys felt bunched together with a one track mind. Add in the parents etc and this one was pure cringe. Thankfully it was short.
