Then, Arcade tests Shatterstar and X-Treme to their limits! When Stryfe returns in Cable’s body, the true history of Nathan Summers and his “evil twin” will finally be revealed! And the nineties’ most popular teen teams collide when X-Force and the New Warriors are caught up in the Upstarts’ final game — with the fate of a generation of mutants on the line! Plus: The future is now when the Nimrod Sentinel comes online, and a Phalanx attack leads to a shocking change for Cable. And what has former teammate Dani Moonstar become caught up in?

The art and storytelling is really at a low point here. The Phalanx storyline had potential, but doesn’t live up to it promise. It is too bad what they were doing with the characters in the mid-nineties.

I picked this up from my library because I was in the mood to read a graphic novel. Not a fan of X-Force but figured what the heck. Read a few pages then skimmed the rest. The artwork is pretty good. It was good to see Shadowcat and Megan and Brittanic as well as Wolfsbane and Dani Moonstar (used to collect The New Mutants). But... the story didn't grab me but then I shouldn't be surprised. So many of the storylines in Marvel comics don't appeal to me anymore.

So, I didn't think this was any big deal but then I didn't give it much of a chance. If you like X-Force I would say definitely read it. If you were bored and like me, wanted to read a Marvel graphic novel then give it a try.
