A sex trafficking ring that is preying on girls at an orphanage in Poland. Some parts were intense but the book was also very informative. I had to admire the courage and loyalty of Adelina letting herself be kidnapped in order to rescue her friend.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I read this book a quickly because I enjoyed it so much . It truly was hard to put it down.
I would definitely read more of her books and I wouldn’t change a thing. I enjoyed the interconnection with history and present day.

This is a great book for any age to be honest. It gives you a different perspective of human trafficking. Adelina's strength and fight pulls at your heart. You learn family isn't always about blood. It's who shows up and sticks beside you.
