This audiobook will take you through the basics of Swedish with basic boot camp, all about, and pronunciation lessons. Each of the five basic boot camp lessons centers on a practical, real-life conversation. At the beginning of the lesson, we'll introduce the background of the conversation. After the conversation you'll learn carefully selected vocabulary and key grammar concepts. Next you'll hear the conversation one time at natural native speed. Finally, practice what you have learned with the review track. In the review track, a native speaker will say a word or phrase from the dialogue. Repeat the words and phrases you hear in the review track aloud to practice pronunciation and reinforce what you have learned.
In the 15 "all about" lessons, you'll learn all about Swedish and Sweden. Our native teachers and language experts will explain everything you need to know to get started in Swedish, including how to understand the writing system, grammar, pronunciation, cultural background, tradition, society, and more--all in a fun and educational format! The five pronunciation lessons take you step by step through the most basic skill in any language: how to pronounce words and sentences like a native speaker.

Love this podcast, I listen to it in work. It’s really compatible with the Mondly app which is one of the apps I use for studying languages, so I recommend you use this app too and the vocabulary you learn from both this podcast alongside the app really reinforce each other. I’m really enjoying it so far, as I often do with other Innovative Language podcasts that I’ve listened to. I’m getting through it comfortably, I usually struggle from lesson 1 when it comes to languages because it’s just not something I’ve ever been able to get the hang of, but the information and pace of this audiobook really works for me.

There’s also a really good PDF transcript of the audiobook with some extra grammar notes and vocabulary that come free with this audiobook, that’s also really interesting and I’m thinking of printing it out and binding it as Swedish textbooks are relatively expensive and hard to find second hand right now
