I wanted to give it 2 stars because it's the hardest book I've ever read. The difficulty comes from the lack of connection between ideas. For a beginner, it's overwhelming to see terms like LIFO, FIFO, straight-line, and accelerated depreciation without much background explanation. Then, in the exercises, huge balance sheets appear out of nowhere, and answering a simple question requires going through tons of data. On top of that, the need for additional prerequisite knowledge of ratios makes it even more discouraging. Although it was a memorable experience and I feel I have done something so giving it 3.
