About the author

Mark Barber began writing for Osprey Publishing in 2008, with a focus on British military aviation in the two world wars. After this he worked as a historical consultant for Gaijin Entertainment's record breaking 'War Thunder' game, before a series of titles in support of various war games. These include five campaign books for Warlord Games' 'Bolt Action' and novels supporting 'Infinity' and 'Kings of War'.

A great book set in the Infinity universe. It focuses on Pan Oceania’s Military Orders, think sci fi medieval knights in futuristic battle armour and their interactions with both friend and foe alike. It was lots of fun to see some of the characters and factions of the tabletop game getting their story fleshed out and some characters from Mark’s earlier book Downfall return. It was interesting to see some of the back story for De Fersen brought to life and I hope to see his story further expanded in later books.

Overall, a great read if you are into sci fi books.
