MMF romance with DDLG relationship. honestly? i really liked this and didn’t find anything cringy about it so no need to toss my kindle into the water after reading it. i wanted more spice not gonna lie but i will probably read more from this author!

Why was this included in the series? Just because of the kink? Pretty sure that's kink-shaming since there was nothing truly 'cringe' about it. If it's not for you then that's fine, but don't include such a common kink in a DNF challenge. Also, where was the spice? This series is supposed to be super spicy but all we got was one scene that ended abruptly, almost closed-door-like.

Goddddd the cringe in the words. The names of parts & pet names for each other is enough to make you wanna bleach your eyes hahaha That being said, this was such a cute-cringey read in the DNF series. I loved the relationship and how much the MMC’s praised and adored her, while making her feel like the princess she is. They absolutely worshipped her body and it was so good.

This book is heavy on the DDLg kink (or DdDdLg....), so if that's not your thing, or anything you want to read about, you should skip this one.
Now, thinking about the DDLg kink, and how it's played out, I don't really think this book is overly cringy. It's not my thing, so it was pretty cringy in my opinion. But I wouldn't necessarily categorize it as insanely cringy.
It's a silly novella. It's got serious romcom vibes packaged with kink.

This gets an extra star for not using sensitive topics as part of the cringe or gimmick. I appreciated the author’s note about being fat. And while littles and age play is not my thing, I thought that this novella handled it with care and respect. There is no age play in the bedroom.

This one was my least favourite so far in the DNF Series. It really wasn't that cringe and the focus was more on the relationship dynamic so a lot less smut. It just wasn't quite as fun as the others 🤷🏽‍♀️

A LITTLE THICKNESS IS ALL GOOD

The DNF Series is a testament to the authors for coming up with exaggerated descriptions, melodramatic dialogue, humour, awkwardness and an overall sense of OMG, please no! It is also a testament to the reader for making it through each book without getting partway and going nope, giving up, marking this as a Did Not Finish! While each book has its own triggers, basic storyline, it centers around the DNF Bookstore in Salem, Massachusetts, where books get a second chance at life! These books are meant to make you cringe and think, did I just read that, surely not! They are not meant to make you think bad about yourself, kinks or lifestyles.

Leslie Ayla's contribution to the DNF Series is the least cringiest but absolutely delightful. I loved it and reckon it's going to be my favourite! I've enjoyed the cringe in all the others and in this one but I think it's the sweetness, caring and vulnerability to the characters that give it authenticity. Definitely had no problem finishing this book.

FYI - Read Thick before Slurp, due to character crossovers.

my thoughts…
Reading this story was like stumbling through a minefield of clichés and ridiculous mishaps. Our FMC, Zelda, means well but is the type of girl that would show up to the party wearing mismatched socks and somehow has set the dip on fire. Which fits perfectly into the DDLG dynamic of her hot, gay, (& married) hero neighbours after she actually sets her kitchen on fire.

This was my first time reading a DDLG story. It was definitely interesting reading some of the dialog from our FMC and where a lot of the “cringe” moments in this book came from…

The plot is easy to follow along and serves as a quick, fun, lighthearted read.

This is the first in the DNF share world series challenge.
Lets get down to it and what is this book about, DDlg, poly relationship, married husband and husband who are looking for their little. Their eye was always on their neighbor to be their third.
Kaz and Brennan are the sweetest, in your face, with how much in love they are, but under that sweetness is another side they are both dying to bring out to have their forever girlfriend and that is they are a daddy dom’s looking for a little and a submissive.
This book will have you laughing out loud throughout out, the sweet aspects are there and then add in the use of cringeworthiness words that just brings it all together – fudgestickles and sugar plum are but a few.
These three work together and I loved their dynamics, Zelda is a dreamer and all other place so she definitely needs these two men to keep her on track
What are waiting for and jump in, this a short, not over complicated, spicy book that gives time to unwind that brain.
