Such an amazing read. I completely devoured Malcolm and Clare’s story.
Running from a past he can’t hide from, Malcolm battles every day to stay away from the bottle. Clare is fast becoming his happy distraction but can also become his downfall. Which one is up to him. Or is it?
Clare has some secrets that are in danger of coming out. She gets some vibes from Malcolm that confuse her and give her feelings she’s never had.
Can the two of them overcome their own obstacles and be happy?

Forbidden Shadows❤️‍🩹

Forbidden Shadows is the next book in the Lee County Wolves series and I will admit I’m late to the party as I think this book came out almost a year ago😳 I saw recently that the book after this is coming out soon, so thought I’d jump in quickly and get caught up.

Malcolm is finally about to find his mate and he’s shocked to discover that it’s Clare, the human who had lived in Lee County all her life and knew about shifters before they came out to the rest of the world🙌

Clare’s character was unexpectedly strong in character but I absolutely loved her (and wish I could be her when I grow up😊). Malcolm was more tortured than expected but he worked through his demons and shadows eventually💪 I hope the next book is for Deb and the newcomer to Lee County🤩

Forbidden Shadows, Lee County Wolves book 7 by Teresa Gabelman
I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
I am a huge fan of this author. I look forward to every release and every story. This series is a spin off of The Protectors Series but you do not need to read that to know these characters. This is also the 7th book in the series but you don’t need to read the others to fall for Clare and Malcom. I will say, you will 100% love it better having read the other books. You get more backstory sprinkled in through the other books about these characters. Also, Hunter. That is all I will say. He makes me laugh each and every book. Hunter Foster. LOL
Malcom is such a great grumpy character. He hates himself for not protecting his sister even though she knows he did what he could. He is not going to allow himself happiness and then he begins to notice Clare. He knew her but she has returned to town and seems different.
Clare is not thrilled to be going on this blind date and then starts to notice Malcom in a different way then before. Anyway, she thinks there is no way with Malcom and dealing with her “secrets” keeps her busy. When the blind date doesn’t go as planned and Malcom is there to help her, Clare is kind of swooning over Mr. Grumpy.
Of course, these two are running in each other’s paths. She doesn’t understand why he is so grumpy after having huge smiles and belly laughs. He is not sure why a woman like Clare would be interested in him. Their story is a lot of fun to read. Jamie, Malcom’s sister, made my day when she would annoy him about Clare. The story of Deb was eye opening. Again, her story line ARC from book 1 to this was like WOW. I am really interested in what happens to her in the future books because 2nd chances are looking good on her.

Wow, another amazing book in the Lee County Wolves Series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Wow, this book started off with a bang. Man, Malcolm is doing so well but he’s his own worse enemy as he can’t stand looking at himself in the mirror for what he believes he allowed his sister Jamie to suffer through while in their old pack, even though she would constantly telling him that she was okay. He turned to alcohol to numb the pain of knowing what was happening to her and others in their old pack and not being able to to anything about it, as he knew none of them would make it out alive.

Jamie has forgiven him and loves him dearly and she was also trying to protect him by not telling him what was happening. Wow, Clare is a complete bad a*se for what she’s done and still plans to do for so many abused women and their children, she’s their lifeline. The tension between Clare and Malcolm was palpable and their chemistry was amazing. I’m so glad that they got their own happily ever after. I loved seeing Malcolm start to forgive himself with Clare’s help. I’m definitely looking forward to reading Forbidden Love when it’s released, as well as more books from Teresa in the future. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Human Clare lived and worked among shifters all her life and none caught her eye until Malcolm and his sister, Jamie moved from a cruel pack. Malcolm was wallowing in guilt over things that happened and could only find solace in a bottle bottom until he found out Clare had a date. The shock of that rare event and obviously unsuitable man woke them both up!

The date went as bad as Clare could imagine. It was bad enough to be dangerous and the entire pack got involved. Especially Malcolm who decided to be her escort but that also caused an issue for Clara whose secret project could lead to more problems but was definitely a pet for Clare. It wasn’t a bad read but I found myself putting the read down too often.

Another amazing book by Teresa Gabelman. Malcolm has shadows from his past that threaten to end him…only his mate Clare can lighten those shadows and chase them away. But Clare has some secrets of her own that could threaten not only her but the rest of the Lee County Wolves. Above and beyond a five star…must read. This book kept me glued from the first page to the last. In true Teresa Gabelman style, she gives you laugh out loud moments and some steamy, sexy moments thrown in…that make you fan yourself to cool off. Would I recommend Forbidden Shadows…YES…in a heartbeat YES!!

A Great Read.
Malcolm has been through a lot, the struggle is real, he’s been fighting his demons & the drink helped but no more, he needs to make amends not just with his sister but the entire Lee County wolves!
Clare as feisty as can be, she has her own secrets.. will she be his happy ever after & will he be hers?

Some laugh out loud moments, loving Elmo & of course the hole gang looking forward to Debs book, now that should be interesting!

Malcolm is the most damaged and intense man she has written in any series.. I just want to hug him and tell him it wasnt his fault but Clare beat me to it. She is perfect for him. I love this couple.

I can not wait to read the next couple and was over joyed when I figured out who it was going to be.. It's been a long time coming.

abused savior

Great story that takes a quick turn you do not see coming early on. When a woman helps other abused women she did not know where her path would lead. The wolf that chose to hide in a bottle is fighting his demons. These two eventually find their way together. The theme is a serious one and hopefully others find it inspiring. Fast read with your usual character banter. Great follow up in the series.

It doesn't matter if it's Lee County wolves or the protectors series or the mates books they always are good. This one kind of felt like there was a lot left hanging for me. But I am so happy Malcom found his mate and has her support. And of course we know there is danger right around the corner for Clare and the woman she helps.

Malcolm and Claire

Enjoyed being back in Lee county. Like Sid in the Warriors series, Hunter is my fave in this one. He is hilarious.

Claire is quite the spitfire and made me laugh more than once.

Malcolm took his sweet time in letting down his walls but he eventually wises up for a HEA.

Also I wish there had been more of her background since she lived in the town all her life, anyway I enjoyed the read looking forward to the next story in this series.

Clare has a secret side job. She is brave, tough, independent and forgiving. Her interactions with Deb are sweet. Malcolm is struggling. What he had to do to protect Jamie haunts him. He hates himself. Clare has helped a lot. Jamie has helped too. Need that story on Deb. Something happened.

Read, Read, Read

The book was really great, but it took the couple too long to get together. Too many questions left unanswered. Is the foot prints found someone stalking Deb or Tammy. Will Deb and Brock get a book? Will Tammy get her happily ever after? Too many loose ends.
