Hello, Readers! My name is Silke Chambers. Yes, it is my real first name. I was born in Germany, and it is a name you will hear there. I came to the states when I was 3, so I don't have an accent, but my mom sure does!
I have a twin brother who is a journalist, and loves writing news stories.
But I love writing fiction! I write Bible-based fiction and women's fiction. My first book, "Among the Ruins--the Story of David" was published in 2020. I just recently published my second book, "Someone to Talk to" in February, 2022. It is women's fiction that will appeal to working women and nurses. That's right, I am also a registered nurse, and just do my writing in my 'spare' time. Good thing my children are grown up! But they always need me at one time or another. So does my husband, although he has been my biggest encouragement to write. He knows how much I love it.
