Sensing Hupo’s energy nearby, Zeha rushes over, eager to get revenge and answers from the one who started it all! But after finally crossing blades with his archenemy, he is left with more questions than ever before: What really happened four thousand years ago? Who are his true enemies? And what does fate have in store for the seven hunters of Team Chakho…?
At this point I’m just along for the ride with this one. I still have no idea what’s happening, but I love the art. I’m sure I’ll figure out the plot line eventually
I’m continually confused by this series and barely ever know what is going on. Here and there, it feels like I’m following along, but I’ll turn the page and realize I’m as clueless as ever. Who are any of these antagonists? I’ve lost track since it’s gone far beyond the beom. It’s actually so cuckoo bananas the way I cannot follow a single page.
Additionally, the character who is supposed to be Hoseok is so un-Hoseok it’s ridiculous. I’d laugh if I weren’t so thorough frustrated by my lack of comprehension. Appearance-wise and personality-wise, that is not Jung Hoseok. That is an imposter. I don’t know that man.
The only bits I seem to marginally comprehend are when 6 members of BTS + random-Asian-man-who-is-supposedly-Hoseok are talking in their dorm. Beyond that… what is even happening?
We are learning more about Tabae and the truth behind the wars between the Beom and the Gom. I love that each volume is a quick read but action packed and unlocking the mysteries of both the past and the present keeps you on the edge of your seat.
There are so many characters I’m getting so confused and then clarity comes and it’s good again. Since the illustrations themselves are very dark, it’s confusing that way as well occasionally.
I promise my judgment isn't influenced by the fact that I like BTS and the characters' appearance. Now, I shamelessly admit that I liked Zeha more in her Beom form than in her human form. And that's my conclusion.
Just kidding...
The action scenes and the animation are a chef kiss. The plot twists about who the real villain is and the WEBCOMIC'S ENDING. AWESOME.
However, I was expecting better development of the other characters, not just Zeha; it would have been nice to know a little more about their backstories and abilities.
PS: There are several volumes of the story here on Goodreads, and I don't know which chapter each one covers.
