With the combined effort of humans and divine beasts, Barahan is finally defeated…but at what cost? When the wrathful god lashes out with his dying breath, Blondina jumps in to take the blow meant for her dear kitty. As her life bleeds away, Amon must save his beloved by sacrificing the thing he treasures above all else…“Wait, Amon…! Don’t go…”
I kind of wish there had been more backstory to this. Who exactly was the goddess? Who was her companion? And that man was her brother? Tell me more, I'm confused.
Briddy y Amon estaban destinados, punto.

The web series is out on Webtoons app, you get a free episode a day, which I know can seem daunting, it takes about 3.5 months to finish, but if you click an episode a day for 2 weeks, you can read 2 weeks at a time. I mostly did that.
I really enjoyed this series, it's very cute and fluffy. I love that Briddy and Amon were childhood friends / sweethearts and Amon was basically smitten with Briddy from first sight. I really like the dynamics between the two main leads, they are so contrasting. The side stories with the brother, villain and Bride's maid is really cute too.
I thought towards the end the series does get a slight bit draggy, but it doesn't last long. I really enjoy the last fluffy episodes with everyone's happy-ever-after after stories. You truly need to pick up on this series!
This is a rather fast-moving addition to the series. So much death followed by so many new memories and meetings. In some ways, it's rather convenient how a lot of it works out, but it also doesn't seem like the roller coaster is over just yet either. At least Amon and Briddy seem to be on a good path overall, as is the rest of their family. Even Adellai seems to have weathered the worst of the storm and seems at least a little more stable on the other side. There were some pretty hard revelations thrown around with all of the reincarnation and divine power references. At least if nothing else, Briddy seems to have broken the cycle Amon was so terrified about.

4.5 stars. I just wish Adellai would've been more severely punished for all of what she did. Amon losing his memories for most of Briddy's pregnancy brought tears to my eyes (and I don't even like pregnancy plots). I'm just so glad he got them back before their babies were born. They deserve to be a happy family together after everything. I'm also so glad to see Lart as the new emperor and getting together with Lucy. Overall, it was a cute, light, and comfy story that I enjoyed immensely.
This one gets a 3.5; tbh we started losing the plot here, and I felt like we could’ve gotten a really good and impactful ending if we had just stopped after Vol. 7 with just a little bit of reconnaissance and tying up loose ends post the main big scene.
I still love the art style of this manhwa, but I’m kind of glad I’m heading into the final volume. This could’ve had a really great ending but true to the K-dramas we just couldn’t stay away from a late stage twist. 😮💨
Review for Vol 7-8: These 2 volumes were so sweet! I won’t lie, volume 7 lost me a little bit but I’m gonna blame myself for not paying enough attention to the politics in the first few books. I felt pretty lost but loved it nonetheless. Volume 8 on the other hand brought back the cute and cozy romance vibes that I love from this series. Majetto was an icon as always and I loved seeing the found family back together!
I don't really understand what made Amon lose his memories....trauma? Sharing divine power with Briddy? Or just random to fit the story?
The kids are cute 😍
Lart and Lucy ❤️
What happened to Adellai's leg? They said something happened to it and then showed only one shoe under her dress to make it seem like she lost a leg.......but then she walked just fine.....seems inconsistent.

The conclusion of the battle wasn’t interesting, but I am a sucker for “the hero’s been cursed into an amnesiac beast form and he’s slowly circling his pregnant wife who’s been living in the woods by herself trying to lure him closer so he remembers her before their babies are born.” 🤣
Time goes by wayyyyyyy to fast in this one. It's very bamboozling. I feel like everythings happening all at once and time is fast forwarded so much and nothing is explained and we get no time to just sit at any one stage for long enough to get a grip on anything.
This became very cute and fluffy again, I love redoing first meetings and Amon was super funny before he regained his memories. Their kids are so cute too!
Whilst this was had a lot of adorable moments I wished there was actually consequences for the villains. I also wanted more of the gods backstories. I'm excited to see their happily ever after.
